read for my ancient Greece class

A pretty well assembled collection of Persian and Greek sources on the Aegean world before during and after the Persian Wars. I feel that the introductory texts provide a pretty good context for the wider reasons for the war and the governing ideology of the Persian states. I felt that towards the end there were large slogs of Herodotus explaining battles which is usually a pet peeve of mine for ancient history but largely expected in histories of wars. Generally a really helpful tool for studying the wars for a survey of ancient Greece.
