Sam Hayden is the son of Army Hayden, who was a lifetime friend of Ames. The families go way back, and even after the death of her father, Sam and Army check-in whenever they are in Sage, Wyoming. Sam has long had a thing for Caitlyn, but she is focused on moving away from this life and starting over someplace that doesn’t remind her of all her loss. Her momma had left her with Ames years ago, headed back to civilization herself, and Sam couldn’t risk loving someone that was always looking to move on – or at least he tried not to.
One note is about to change everything, though – when Caitlyn’s sincere secret wish is fulfilled, and her dreams of the future take shape once again, she will be left with one important choice to make, will she make the right one?
A great read for the lovers of Kindle westerns, historical western romance, cowboy romance, western romance, clean contemporary romance, christian westerns...
I'm sorry, but the editing failures are too much! An occasional word use error, such as to for too, can be excused, but when nearly every paragraph has an error, that's inexcusable. Then there's the contradictions in character development. Incredibly fake dialog. By chapter 5 I was too annoyed and insulted to continue. This author may improve, and I hate to be so critical, but please! Have at least one person who is reasonably educated in English edit before you publish!!!
🐎🐎ONE HEART TUGGING TREAT🐎🐎 Sizzling saddles sam! Molly not only brought it she weaved the tapestry threaded the scenes and laced the borders, laying out all the feels, frills and thrills, tugging those heartstrings and launching this gem to staggering heights. Shenanigans and serendipity descend in a flurry of subtle maneuvers and canny strategy, sketchy lines and frayed boundaries solidify as limitations are amplified and tested, as riveting drama, gripping intrigue, underlying currents, electrifying encounters and intense situations converge, revving up the exuberance and vigor wrapping this gem up sleek, shiny and tight. Twined, combined and crisply coiled, exposing the soaring ups and agonizing downs, breathtaking in it's simplicity and beautiful in it's depth, secrets unveiled, revelations disclosed and vows pledged, catapulting this baby to life flawlessly. The attraction and chemistry collides with such ease and adoration, baring boundless emotions and infinite affections, binding them together flawlessly. The characters, banter, dialogue, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits, blend and flow, adding depth and diversity, transforming into outstanding personalities. The scenes are abundantly descriptive with colorful details that blend and flow, creating a majestic backdrop that's so rich and lively it feels as though you're part of the story instead of on the sidelines, feeling everything the characters feel. Remarkable job Molly, thanks for sharing this awesome little gem with us.
Caitlyn is leaving the ranch after her father's tragic death, some would say she's running away. Sam her best friend is heartbroken as he's in love with her. When someone buys her back her barrel racing horse she can't figure out who it is but it could get her back in the game. It's not often a book can make you feel like you've cloaked yourself in a warm fluffy blanket but this one does and then some. It's BEAUTIFUL ❤️ I love a clean, sweet cozy romance and this beats a lot of books hands down in my opinion. I loved Caitlyn and Sam and all their childhood friends, all amazing characters and strong minded independent women. The romance is pure romance with a capital R. Molly sure knows how to make you feel in love with all of them, she is truly gifted. I'm ready to buy literally all her books It's about love, friendship, respecting boundaries, dealing with grief and loss. If you like Debbie Macomber books and Hallmark vibes then this is a must read Kerry Kennedy Author
Good story. I liked the characters. I wish this had been split up into more than one book and fleshed out. Many parts were skipped without showing the reader what happened next. The formatting was in block paragraphs, which I like and use myself, but there were no symbols to divide the sections when the scenes changed to another set of characters or another setting. The only reason I couldn't give this four stars was there were so many typos, as well as wrong words used which would not be caught by spellcheck because they are real words, and simple punctuation mistakes, all of which an editor/proofreader should have caught. After I was able to get the characters straight I got used to the disjointed format. It was a lovely tear-jerker. Worth reading.
This was a heartwarming story of four girls and their romances. It was a little confusing at times keeping the girls and their boyfriends but the things they were all going through were realistic life problems. It was an interesting set of characters added greatly to each girls story line that all intertwine. One constant in everyone's story line was Ruth Ann who was like their fairy godmother and loved them all like her own children.
A story full of vital characters and action that will leave you uplifted by the care and love shown for each other in this country town. Courageous bull riders and women determined to overcome the circumstances that befall them. Romance is in the air even if the characters are not sure what to do with it... Molly Maco is a gifted storyteller and I delight in reading her stories. Well done Molly.
This story was good but I also feel it could be split up in to 4 separate books with each individual couple. There are a group of friends who fall in love with their respective best friends but this book was mostly about Caitlyn and her best friend Sam Hayden who are totally in love with each other. Caitlyn sets her life on a new path after the death of her father and that pushes her further from Sam. Great cowboy romance!
I really enjoyed this book. It’s well written and heartwarming. I really enjoyed the characters and the matchmaking that brought them all together. I know you are really going to enjoy it.
This story was pretty good but I found it confusing at times. There are a lot of characters to keep track of and where their relationship is. I feel it could have used a little more editing. A clean read.
This book was not at all what I was expecting! It was Better! This was my first time reading Molly Maco's books and I am impressed! Every bit as good an author as Delores Fossen and B.J.Daniels!!
It’s sweet and wonderful. Everyone should be blessed to meet a woman as kind and wonderful as the star. Her life shined in all who truly knew her. But she did not allow the persons she considered friends to stay as they were. She pushed and encouraged them to follow their heart and dreams
