Darkness: An Anthology of Dark and Twisted Tales from The Sons of Twisted Fate

Rate this book
With much of the world in isolation, support for mental health is more important than ever. Realising this, a number of established like-minded authors formed The Sons of Twisted Fate to turn their skills to creating this collection of short stories to support the mental health charity: Mind.

The collection is the result of a unique collaboration by a diverse group of authors, all writers of Speculative fiction (Sci-Fi, Horror and Fantasy) but all very different from one another. Each was challenged to contribute one or more short stories around the theme of Darkness.

All profits go to the charity Mind.

If 'darkness' is the unifying theme of this collection of short stories, it takes on a wide variety of manifestations. It is a miscellany of Sci-fi, speculative fiction and fantasy, offering lots of action, blood and gore but also reflection and thoughtful curiosity about the world of darkness and all its possibilities and challenges. A polar research station, a Victorian Lunatic Asylum, a mythical lost city, abstract worlds of light and dark, a death bed, a black space where mysterious strings offer the chance of escape, or maybe destruction - these are just a few of the fascinating and disturbing places to be visited between the covers of DARKNESS.
