WereWitch #7

God Trials

Rate this book
Bailey Nordin took care of the witch goddess and accidentally became a goddess herself.

Oops.

Did you know there was a training camp for gods, demi-gods and other powerful beings to teach you how to control your powers and have some stability?

Bailey sure didn’t.

And she didn’t expect to be observed by gods and goddesses while she was training.

Nothing is as it seems. Good thing Bailey is a quick study and won’t hesitate to defend herself when needed. Someone is playing a much bigger game here.

But Bailey isn’t the only one with her hands full. Roland and Carl are trying to find out what is happening to the missing witches.

And it’s nothing good.

Bailey and Roland might not be in this situation together, but they have allies backing them.

A long time ago I was born in Los Angeles. That's where I spent many of my formative years. After I became an adult, I moved around for a bit before ending up in a small town in Oregon, very similar to Bailey's hometown. Greenhearth is fake, if you haven't already Googled that, but it's like many small towns with less than 1,000 people.

My pets...
I love animals, especially my two even if they do create havoc in my daily life. I have a cat, named Snowstorm, Storm for short. Then I have a rescue, Josephine. She's a Labradoodle - I think. It's hard to say but it's the best I can come up with.

What I'm working on...
I'm already working on the next book in the series - was working on it before Bad Attitude came back from editing. And now that it has released, need to stay on track with A Bit Aggressive.

I have to say that this book deserved the 5* I gave it.

It was, of course, aptly named as the Pantheon of Gods weren't going to accept Bailey as one of them, without testing her.

Freya, more than all the rest of them.

But there were plots within plots all throughout the book, with Bailey being an unknowing participant, or used as a deflection, for what was really going on.

And there was a LOT going on!

I won't say what, as I won't spoil things, as I'm sure you'll want to read this series yourself, but the ending was a true surprise for me - and don't go peeking before you've read the book - why spoil the surprise, hey? Lol

Anyhoo, this kept me reading when I should have been doing other things, so I'm eager to go on to Book Eight: 'The Troll Solution', to see what will happen next.

Once I've finished this, I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I think about this next book!.

What a story!

I'm still kinda in shock at the latest development. Fenris...should have seen that one coming but then Carl too. Did not see that one...oh boy this next book should be a doozy. LOVE this series!

A little bit Machiavellian for me

A good read but not as suited to my taste as the earlier books - nothing that will stop me buying and reading the next in the series though.

Wow! Bailey has gone out of the frying pan and into the fire! The intrigue is becoming more intense, and we see more of Fenris’ master plan. Another excellent story in the series.

Good story!!

Fenris is a bad guy! Bringing Ragnorok is not a nice thing to do. Looking forward to the next story.
