I honestly don’t know what part here is the true story. I’ve tried doing some research pero walang lumabas.

This is like consist of pinoy horror movies we’ve seen growing up. Reading this reminds me of Matakot ka sa Kulam ni Judy Ann Santos or The Healing ni Vilma Santos. This also includes extreme gore which I feel na some parts of it were unneccsary na kase it doesnt add value to the story. I really really enjoyed how the story started, from multiple point of views to interesting back stories, but the ending is dragging. The book I read is poorly edited not to mention too many plot holes despite the added bonus chapters.

I also want to share one the paragraphs that made me laugh out loud.

Sa tindi siguro ng sinapit nya ay hindi na attorney ang tawag nya sakin. Nakalimot na siya ng honorifics.

Haha. Sana all tarantado. Still, I enjoyed this book and this has so much potential for a Filipino Film. Three stars.

the beginning was soo good! sobrang nakakakilabot and sobrang nakaka intriga. but then the plot twist confused me a lot? parang hindi siya nag make sense nung una pero nung ending medyo na-gets ko na. the ending also feels rushed for me.

1 star for the takot factor it gave me sa may unahan na part especially dun sa “wag basahin sa gabi” portion. But after that, tapon na lahat.
Ang cringe ng writing. Typical wattpad cringe. Lalo na yung mga “isa .. dalawa .. tatlo” parts kairita. Sama mo na yung mga “shet” at “putangina”. Di talaga bagay. Nakakayamot din yung iba’t iba ng POV pero same lang ang wordings at way magsalita ng bawat character. Ang salitaan ni Ara, Janice, Roger, Mrs. Ocampo, at Ka pening ay iisa! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA at wag ka englisherong socialite magbitaw ng words si Ka Pening na albularyo ha. Odiba di tumatahi ang mga bagay-bagay. Kayamot. I read till Chapter 7 lang di ko na kinaya sagad na yun then nag skip na ko to Epilogue to know anong ending and I’m so happy na I skipped almost half of the book dahil di rin naman satisfying ang ending. Baduy parin hanggang ending. Yun lang babush.

i expected some of the plot twist but yung iba is literally jaw dropping. it's not that scary naman, it's very very disturbing lang. the scary part lang for me is yung early chapters but yung iba hindi na, disturbing as fuck lang talaga. hoping i won't experience having a nightmare kasi some ppl did daw after mabasa ’to. i also finished this in one sitting. ngl while reading yung part ng backstory sa villaverde family, ang lala nila huhu, they're baliw bro, they're crazy. and it's really disturbing din that roli fell in love with ara (anak ni nana) despite the freaking age gap. ara just turned 18 tapos the guy is already 28, what do u mean they're together? lala, tapos uncle niya pa ’yon, although hindi sila magkadugo kasi nga inadopt lang si roli plus roli & nana isn't magkapatid talaga, it's still so disgusting & disturbing talaga. toxic ng family tree ng mga villaverde, mga crazy. anyways, for me, yung pov ni maria yung scariest.

mas scary yung beware of the class president ngl but i didn't finish it na, na didisturb ako kay joaquim & kena kahit they're not magkadugo naman. idk why gusto ng author na may maging something sa magkarelative na hindi magkarelative, gets ba? i noticed it eh, sa ilyara, mag uncle na hindi magkadugo, sa botcp, mag step siblings. it's not for me lang siguro. pero aside from that, ang galing mag-isip ng author & the plot twist are giving talaga.

i don't know if i'll read the "casa inferno" one, some said na that story is the scariest daw. i'm curious pero i don't think i will read it, gotta protect my mental health. i'm not really a big fan of stories na gan’to, i also don't know why i started reading stories na brutal.

overall, i think what made this more scary kasi it's based on a true story daw pero yung ibang part lang daw but still ang disturbing pa rin. siguro kaya i'm not that takot while reading this because i know that God is with me and hindi ako pababayaan ni God. i trust God so much. yk before, i used to be super scared sa mga gan’to but i'm not that scared na ngayon because i know that binabantayan ako ni God.

Ang tagal ko na s'yang nakilala pero iba pa rin yung dating n'ya everytime I decided to re-read it. Katulad ng dati medyo confusing sa rising action ng stories, pero nabigyan naman ng justice pagdating sa climax. Naging weird yung feeling sa falling action kasi hindi mo talaga expected yung plot twist ng story. Si Ara, ay para lang kay Ara. Yung flashback ng pagkatao ng nanay ni Ara, nakakalungkot mapapansin mo talaga need ng consultation ng family n'ya dahil hindi normal. Then, do'n sa part tungkol sa pamilya ni Rolly if I'm not mistaken, it really gives me goosebumps and imagine na totoong story s'ya nakakaawa lang dahil nadamay sila. 4/5 stars dahil kahit na maganda yung story ang dami ko pa ring gustong malaman!!! sa part ko nakakabitin! Help!! wala pa kasi akong pambili sa THE UNTOLD STORY OF ARA. Kaya siguro bitter ako. Don't you worry ate author Jamille Fumah. Babalikan ko 'to!

The novel shows different perspectives but when I was reading the first half, it feels like the same character despite changing POVs. It only felt natural toward the end.

I must say that it blew my mind! The author used foreshadowing to develop the story's plot and I must say it really is effective. Some parts are easy to "guess" but by the time you get to the climax part, you won't be able to stop reading it. You need answers!

Reading this was challenging. I had to read it during the day because the description is too detailed and too disturbing. So detailed that I felt anxious reading it at night. Why five stars though? As a thriller book, I think it served its purpose.

Saw this on tiktok and decided to revive my inactive wattpad account. I knew it was a horror story from the beginning, but it did not prepare me for the gory and brutal stuff I had to read.

All i can is medyo tanga talaga si Ara, no?

The book will definitely get you thinking and make those brain cells work. Brutal siya and if malakas imagination mo, mapapapikit ka na lang habang nagbabasa kasi maeenvision mo yung nakasulat HAHAHAHH

The plot twist is plot twisting, but you'll get hints of it throughout the book, so you might figure it out before it's revealed just like i did.😋

The best part of reading this is probably reading the comments, it adds so much AHAHAHAHAHA kaya I love wattpad readers eh.

Overall, maganda naman, but it's something i wouldn't read again.

HAHWHHAHAHAHAH LOLL, I FINISHED THIS NG GABI AND I COULDN'T SLEEP FOR REAL. TUMINDIG BALAHIBO KO AND THE PLOT TWIST??? GIRL, ONE OF THE BEST PLOT TWISTS I'VE EVER READ. ANG DAMING NANGYAYARI PERO HINDI SIYA NAKAKALITO. I highly recommend this if you wanna read a horror story that actually has a plot twist and each character has their own personality. Love the way that you wouldn't be able to guess what's gonna happen next, it's just full of surprises. ’Di pa rin ako maka-move on sa plot twist, it's just thatt good. I love the writing and how the story flows, the writer really is a genius. The story is not focused sa one character only which is why I like it so much. THE PLOT TWIST TALAGA OMG, READ THISS. Nakakatindig balahibo legit, as in no boring part. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THISS!!

I wanted to start reading again in preparation for the Philippine Book Festival and I wanted to read something that would make me feel nostalgic as it might help me with my reading slump and this book certainly did.

As a story that was published through Wattpad, it certainly is a product of its time, the writing style and the whole story in general. I think it's really important to read this book with a very low expectation and even then, it might still be disappointing.

I rated this 2 stars as it had some really good ideas and I can see the potential of the story. It was up to my imagination to edit and add additional information just for things to make sense especially at the end.

masyadong mataas ang expectations ko sa book na 'to and i ended up slightly disappointed. i still like its horror theme kahit na hindi ako gaanong natakot. ito lang talaga mga napansin ko:

1. walang personality distinction sa dialogue. yung mga matatanda parang teenager magsalita.
2. may mga character na unnecessary pero nasa story pa rin.
3. andaming unnecessary scene kaya humaba yung book, muntik kong tigilan ang pagbabasa dahil naboboring and naiinip ako.
4. ang ganda nung first pages pero for me medyo pumangit nung nasa gitna and ending.
5. akala ko naman laki ng role ni roli dito.
6. predictable yung mga twists pero goods pa din.

at first it was scaaary. it will makes you nauseous because of the wordings and its mind blowingg the way author wrote it. but then when i was in the middle of the story I was confused with the transition of the stories of how the author write the middle part. It looks like it is rush or sumthingz,, but i gave it a try and i must say that it wasn't that good (maybe because I have high tolerance on horror stories so i expected it to be brutal since the hype was yk..) but it turns out it was js yk.. good..

Only like 1 (One) thing wasn't explained which is how Ara saw her own corpse in the beginning, whether an imposter/doppelganger replaced her in the beginning or it's just a time paradox/teaser isn't clear

Every chapter there is no hollow/boring moments and really keeps you entertained to be more invested, some of the events talaga may loophole. for me lang ah I am more devasted to what happened in Ara more than takot pag naiisip ko yun na papahula ako ewan ba
