At this time, I've only read Tempting Tabitha. This review is for the updated version of the story that can be found in this anthology. I will update the review as other stories are enjoyed.
For the updated version of TT, there are some big changes. Most notably, the age gap went from a generation to a handful of years as the trope changed from Dad's friend to brother's best friend. It's better to see this as a new story. Tabitha / Beth still works are a pool, her car breaks down, and she's "rescued" by James who gives her a ride before he gives her a ~ride~. I don't remember all of the details of the original book but I know that I liked this story that ends with a HFN.
I look forward to enjoying the other stories in the anthology. Admittedly, I read the last chapter of Gracen's book on my way to leave this review and I guarantee that will soon be read. Yummy trio!
(I haven't read all the Stories in this Anthology.)
~REDEEMING SCROOGE by Debra Elise~ 5 Scrooge-to-Santa Stars⭐
A Sweet Christmas themed story with a Meddling Aunt, a pixie, Mistletoes and Bringing back the Christmas magic for Him! All the Characters are Adorable (Grant+Sophie were Swoony!). ARC Received for a Honest Review.
Grant, Ex-Baseballer Sports management company owner, is a renowned Scrooge. He's Hot, Smart, Goes after what he wants AND Is working towards his dream (*Co*Owning a sports team). Sophie, Party Planner, lives for Christmas(& Festivals). She's Compassionate, Driven, Sexy and His assistant's Niece. She knows about him (Doesn't everyone?), But he doesn't know her, yet. Both have experienced great Losses & Pain around Christmas years ago, but both deal with it differently..
Both shared (Yup, not Stolen!) a kiss at New year's which rocked their world. But she knew about his Scrooginess & Womanizing ways, so she left without a backward glance.
Now Months later, He needed a date & His assistant set him up on a blind date with her niece..Who he finds Is THAT women, who he shared the Once-in-a-Lifetime Kiss with.
The Spark is hot as ever but She wants nothing to do with him, Though he'll win her over *wink*. But if they start a relationship, his Christmas-Hating may be the Deal-Breaker.. Can She Redeem this Scrooge?
Still Rattled, by Jane Charles. What an awesome love story. I like how the writer shared with her readers the love that was blossoming between Kelsey and Alex. The writer shares with the readers that when Alex and Kelsey are together it seems so natural and realistic. This makes the book more believable. I loved the timid pace of the book. The simplicity of the book is awesome. The writer didn’t go over bored on details or information. I enjoy how the writer just tells the story. I like how she stayed with the plot. The drama really enhanced the plot. I recommend this book.
What a splendid collection of short stories and full length novels. Tempting Tabitha by Dakota Davies is a sweet first-time romance that blossoms into a forever love. Sexy in Hot Pink by Gracen Miller is a WOWEE hot hot hot MMF BDSM romance with some of the wackiest secondary characters (will they have their own stories? I hope so!). Redeeming Scrooge by Debra Elise is a holiday animosity-to-love story that’s the epitome of heart-warming Christmas cheer (basically a Hallmark movie, ready to go). Sweet Possession by Lucy Smoke and A J Macy has a bit of a grittier, darker feel, with the suspense aspect outweighing the romance aspect, but it’s still gripping, once you get into it. While I didn’t read every story in this anthology, the ones I did reward were top quality and well worth the price of admission.
okay, not finding this on Amazon ... it was not gotten most recently ... behind on my reviews here ... any who ... i think this was a newsletter kind of a book ... you get that authors newsletter they tend to give a book here and there .. or meaning they give you a bookfunnel link to get the book. so many great authors, most i know ... some i have read their books in the past, several i am new to their books. great cover. enjoyable read.
One thing about anthologies is that it's an eclectic collection of stories. Not every one is exciting or readable but there is at least one. I lucked out with this "romantic" collection and found three
Every single story was amazing. A little intimidating when I 1st saw how long this book was but it was clearly unfounded. Characters were incredible and totally lovable. Amazing Must Read!
