Kazir is supposed to be a sanctuary for the weary, desperate humans. But the alien race that already occupies the planet demands a terrible sacrifice to let them stay.
Mena is that sacrifice.
Now she belongs to a harsh alien master, destined for a future of suffering. And yet, bending to his demands strikes a chord of desire that she doesn't understand.
Mikkal knew agreeing to take a human was a bad idea. The darkness inside him has never been easy to keep hidden. Now it has begun to escape his control.
And the worst part?
He’s never felt more alive.
Caution: Dominant aliens go to dark places to compel human affections.
Sophie Kisker started composing dark stories of love and capture long ago, but it wasn't until she met others on the internet that she realized she wasn't alone. Her stories are sometimes dark and uncomfortable, but they will always have a happy ending.
During the day, Sophie is busy with job and family, but in the evening, her laptop comes out, her imagination gets going, and she morphs into a recluse who would be happy living in a cave, as long as it had wireless internet and an espresso machine.
Finding this one on sale at Apple Books was a good reason to finally read Tribute. Because i’d had it in my library for too long….and it ís a delicious story.
Mena had fled Earth at the tender age of 15,and it was just in time. Because a nuclear war erupted, destroying the planet and everything on it,including her brother and her mother. She’d made friends on the 10 year lasting journey towards a new life, and she was hoping for a happy life once they’d settled. Instead, she and group of others were taken as a gift to the residents of their new planet,Kazir. To be sold as slaves,in exchange for a place to stay for the other humans. As injust as it was, there was nothing she could do about the way they treated her from the moment she was in their possession. Being probed, hurt, and tested to see her responses and measured to see what she could take. Until she found her worst fears come true, and she was chosen by an emotionless looking Kaziri. He didn’t hesitate to show her what being his slave meant, and it was nothing like the novels she’d read…. At first, she fought him with everything she had,but since it only meant more pain before she’d have to do whatever he ordered, she decided to pick her battles carefully. But how could she make him understand that even if her body reacted to him,it didn’t mean she enjoyed it? How to make him see that what he was doing to her,how he treated her, made her slowly die inside? That being forced to live a life of suffering without any joy was not something she wished for even her worst enemy? That she’d given up on fighting him because it made no difference in how she’d be treated by him…as a piece of furniture,as something to use,to hurt, with no regard for her feelings….at all, ever?
Mak’kir never gave in to his darker urges,to his nirza….never! Because he knew what could happen if he did… But the leader of Kazir,Dirac Ortan, told him to pick a slave from the small group of humans they’d been given in exchange for the other humans to have a place to live on Kazir. From the moment he saw Mena something stirred in him, though. Something he wanted to explore, even if he knew he’d have to be careful not to destroy her. Treating her like his property felt good, and his nirza was happy. But as they progressed,he found his treatment started to affect his little slave in a way he did not enjoy…. Instead of fighting him, she’d appeared to have given up,and the joy he found in using her was quickly fading. Was there a truth in what she’d said? Could it be he was slowly destroying the slave he was starting to need more than life itself?
But trouble was brewing, and soon it might be too late to change anything, even if he wanted to… The human settlement was at risk of being destroyed, and if that happened,he knew what would follow. And with the humans being his responsibility,he needed to act swiftly. But would he be in time to prevent disaster? More importantly, would he be able to keep his little slave safe while he was gone?
This was a delicious little dark gem,one i really enjoyed. At first it seemed Mak’kir was a heartless man that didn’t feel any empathy for Mena. His cruel behaviour towards her hurt, and when she started to search for reasons to give in,to avoid more pain and suffering,it broke my heart. Because she was on the verge of giving up,not just on herself, but on life. So,i was very happy to see the moment he started to soften towards her. Because she saw it too,and it gave her the hope she needed to survive. All they needed now,was time. Time to explore what could be. But would they get it? Read this little gem and find out!
Cliff notes review: this is some sickening, vile s**t. By 75% the level of depravity detailed coupled with the transparent glorification of rape and enjoyment the male lead derived from the horrific abuse he inflicted caused me to openly weep, stomach clenched, thinking to myself at every stage I should have quit reading when the inclination first struck me somewhere around 21%.
Details containing spoilers: In an effort to normalize and excuse sexual predation this book turns up into down, wrong to right and happily overturns hard-won progress regarding female bodily autonomy, right of consent, reproductive and other basic human rights, and makes irredeemable violent grievous domestic and/or sexual abuse into the a reasonable foundation for romantic relationships and love. The insult to the injury is added by Mena's inability to help but enjoy her humiliation and abuse physically while mentally abhoring everything about her situation. After being confined in a closet, repeatedly raped, systematically beaten, told that not a single part of her belonged to herself anymore, and that she had no right to decide anything about her life or desires, including the cessation of pain, I was furious, and feeling sickened by the 39% mark. When Mena said, "I don’t want to die, but I don’t want to live while wishing I was dead,” (pg 87) to which the male lead responded she would find a way to live with it because he would not let her die, I was coming to the end of my ability to tolerate the abuse being detailed. At page 93, when Mena was forced to perform fellatio, retain the spent spunk in her mouth then ordered to regurgitate it over her food before being made to eat the resulting filth, bile in my own stomach rushed up my throat and I. Was. Just. Done.
Due to the extremely graphic abuse gleefully detailed and glorified, I remained nauseated, extremely anxious and livid for the remainder of the book -- hardly a state which allowed me to be entertained or enjoy any part of this story. There was no build up toward respect, or believable affection, or love; it was a sudden epiphany that came more than three quarters of the way through the book and was hardly manifested in any improvement of treatment. I came to hate ALL of the characters: Mik'kal for being a rapist, depriving a person of the most fundamental human right, freedom, and for the pleasure he took in torturing another; Mena for her mental weakness and inability to fight, and her own lack of impulse control; the Dirac Ortan for manipulating the situation and being willing to commit genocide; and all of the other characters for being complicit in the system without objecting. I came to hate the author for excusing and so thoroughly glorifying rape culture; and couldn't help but hate anyone who thought the acts portrayed in this book were acceptable to force on another being, which the female lead herself said had gone far beyond dubious consent and strictly into non-consent. In the end I craved a shower to repeatedly scrub my skin raw to alleviate the sense of violation that enveloped me, the positively scuzzy feeling I had from reading this book. I persevered to the end only because I kept hoping the building "love" mentioned in the other reviews would finally redeem the story and characters, and restore my faith in humanity. It NEVER materialized.
If graphic rape and abuse is NOT your idea of sexy, and excusing forced human trafficking, slavery, beating, raping, and forced sodomy, boils your blood and makes you want to puke, I'd skip this. I would NOT call Stockholm syndrome a "happily ever after," and a female having to conform to an entire galaxy's cultural norm of abuse and sexual slavery as anything but what it is, a coping mechanism in order to survive. I'd rather die than be treated like this, and the splitting of semantics regarding consent was insulting to the female in me striving for equality and BASIC human rights. The book is a clear effort to brainwash women into believing they should not expect the right to consent and that a dominant's desires supercede everyone else's, that less than dominant personalities should accept and appreciate whatever treatment, read 'abuse,' is given to them even until death is preferable. With stories like this, it is little wonder that males the world over believe they are entitled to the female body regardless of consent. Everything in this book qualifies as a crime against humanity; the book itself is a detailed incitement to violence against women, providing copious excuses for irredeemably abusive behavior.
On a macro level this story is an examination, or a commentary on, the differences between warmongering (or other forms of organized mass physical violence) and/versus micro level sexual predation as two different means of dealing with the male predilection toward violence, desire for conquest, lack of impulse control, and lack of anger management. The book seems to suggest that liberal sexual predation of weaker, or more submissive individuals -- selected by whatever standard deemed appropriate by the dom, rather than self-identification -- and allowing their enslavement is a more acceptable means to ameliorate the violent tendencies in the most aggressive people. The storyline suggests sexual slavery and violent sexual predation is preferable -- the lesser evil so to speak -- to following war conquest, which has been determined more easily facilitates the enslavement of entire populations, even strong-willed, dominant individual members of an outnumbered, less advanced, or vulnerable conquered groups.
On a micro level, the plot goes further by excusing rape and almost all forms of sexual abuse, sexual degradation, sexual humiliation, many forms of physical abuse and the complete usurpation of bodily autonomy (including procreation), of (but not limited to) females displaying any sort of submissive tendencies, despite the submissives' opposing consent, will, or desire, as a coping mechanism for the anger and violence generally inherent (and often poorly controlled) in dominant/alpha individuals. The book mashes up id, ego, and superego into something called "nirza," and spends a fair amount of time explaining how suppression of the dark half of the "nirza" (id) is ultimately responsible for dominants' impulse control and anger management issues; that if their darker proclivities were allowed free expression/reign, their world would be a more peaceful place, allowing culture, creativity and love to flourish unimpeded by crime and violence.
What the story fails to consider important is the exploitation and violence less dominant community members will be forced to endure for the doms' satisfaction. Nor are the rights, desires, and consequences of the doms' actions for non-consenting submissives deemed salient. In fact the storyline intimates that all submissives secretly crave some level of pain and abuse from dominants, labeling a submissive's denial of consent an irrational response no matter the stated reason. The plot hints that the mental/verbal denials should be ignored in favor of bodily responses/cues to stimulation -- the old, "the body is willing and the mind is not," excuse used throughout time by just about every rapist brought to trial -- the "no matter what she said, she wanted it," defense. Worse, there is a strong suggestion that dominants are unable to control themselves simply because submissive traits set them off (they just can't help it, like a bull charging at a red flag); basically a secondary way to blame victims for their own abuse.
At-a-glance breakdown: Consent: NO Rape content: YES, repeatedly Gang rape: No Other Sexual Assault content: YES -- every sexual encounter Forcible Sodomy: YES Physical abuse: YES Emotional abuse: YES Mental abuse: YES Crimes against humanity: YES Kidnapping/False Imprisonment: YES Abusive Sexual Grooming: YES Sexual degradation: YES Sexual and other targeted humiliation: YES Extreme violence and gore: No Murder: No, attempted but unsuccessful Cheating: No Multiple partners (reverse harem): No
As Mena leaves Earth on the spaceship to take her to Kazir, the planet where the humans will find sanctuary, Earth is destroyed by a nuclear war! Mena finds herself given to Mik'kal a high ranking officer of a species that has a thing called a nirza, it's a violent tendency to cause pain and as he causes pain, his nirza calms. Mena is his target his human slave, for relieving his nirza. Mena suffers her punishing training as Mik'kal teaches her submission to her master in all things, but being human, she slowly learns that not only does she enjoy some of her pain and humiliation, she seems to get turned on by it. Mik'kal is mean and viscous at times, but it's all he knows how to be. Through it all they both find out about each other, the sex is really kind of of hot in a kinky twisted kind of way. They do finally find a HEA. Looking forward to another book about Mena's friend Addy to traveled with her for ten years to get to Planet Kazir.
Oh my. This was a lot of book. There is all kinds of stuff that went into this, from all sorts of kinkery to betrayal and suspense.
I think that Mik'kal is an honorable man. He's a dillhole and ash-hole of huge proportions. I mean, totally huge. But, honorable man. He wants to do the best for his people, and will do what he has to take care of them, even if it isn't necessarily what he wants to do.
I love Mena and her struggle. She's trying to figure out if she can accept what is happening with her right now or if she is going to spend her life miserable and in pain. Watching that struggle is fascinating.
Imo don’t waste your time. They don’t have sex until the epilogue and even that is like three fucking seconds(pun not intended) Spelling and story/dialect errors.
Humanity on the brink. Fleeing a dying earth one spaceship full of selected humans is on the way to an uninhabited planet to start life anew. But all is not as it seems to be. The inhabitants of the "uninhabited" planet are a highly developed race and not at all ready to receive them with open arms. But there is treachery and deceit on both sides. A group of them is separated and auctioned off as slaves. The description of the Kaziri's need to dominate, and the humans forced submission, is at times infuriating, at times highly, hmmm..., lets call it heady!! Boy, is it ever! Phew! Slowly some kind of understanding seems to develop between the races but then disaster strikes and a whole underbelly of lies and deceit is unveiled. Nevertheless there is a happy ending and the promise of more.
That was crazy! Had a kink I’d NEVER read before and recently had heard of. Cervix penetration. Ow. This had non con, knotting but not omegaverse, and complete power exchange. (Is that how it’s described? It was intense) It was 24/7 master/ slave dynamics. A little sweetness. Wish the “romance” had built up more.

I have given this story 4 stars, but I did not warm to the male character Mik-kal. If you have triggers then you would be well advised to check before reading. This is a dom/sub story, with dubious consent. I did not like Mik-kal, and even though his demeanour towards Mena changed towards the end of the book, I still thought he was an extreme version of an dominant alpha male.
I had a hard time with this book from the beginning till about the half way point.. maybe a little farther. I had a really hard time with Mik'kal. And it was not so much the slavery as those kinds of books are my jams! I love reading them. It was how cold he was. That he only wanted to give her pain. Yes she might be submissive and enjoy it but he didn't want her to have any pleasure and I just had a hard time with that. He really thought that just because she was submissive and her body responded to what ever he decided to do.. that should be enough for her and make her happy. He really had no concept that he was failing her in all ways and wanted to get angry when she became depressed and stopped fighting him... because it interfered with his enjoyment of what was happening. I wanted to throat punch him right then and there. I almost stopped reading the book at that point... but I pushed on. I had to know how Mena's story was going to end. I so wanted her to be happy and have everything that she wanted.
I was glad when he finally caught on to the fact that he had to give a little also. That it couldn't be all take. That it would destroy Mena if he didn't change his ways. He finally learned that fact and I was starting to worry that we would have an unbelievable HEA. But you could see the little ways that he was changing and softening to her when she needed it. He was learning about humans even though he thought he knew it all already. It gave me hope for their future.
Yeah, this was horrible. In BDSM, sadism can be choice. Mena had no choice. I like noncon as much as the next filthy bitch but I guess this was my limit 🤷🏽♀️ And there was even a "in true dom style" in the epilogue... Yes, I finished it. I ain't no quitter 😏
But just putting it out there that no, just no...that was not a true dom. Just a story about messed up aliens who get off on r@pe. Ugh, I need to scrub my brain now. Or go read some fluff.
Mena was one of the few people on board a vessel on the way to a new planet after humans had destroyed Earth. Mik'kal's people decided that humans were to be isolated on an island somewhere but had several submissive humans taken in to be slaves. The beginning of the book was quite interesting, especially when Mena was being poked and prodded for "testing". But it soon fell flat after Mik'kal took her as his slave.
There were obviously a lot of bdsm play but not a lot of penetration. The foreplays were written nicely, but surprisingly enough, the penetration scenes weren't. His people were more into anal because they were highly fertile, but even when they did have anal sex, it was written so poorly I had to do a double-read to make sure that they really were having sex. Though the writing became descriptive in the epilogue when they had sex the usual way.
Though I also think Mena's reluctance was well-written. Her body conceded but her mind didn't. It wasn't one of those fake-outs too where she initially declined only for her to quickly give in.
The conflict was regarding the leader sending the other humans to an unsafe island that was about to be stormed in. Mik'kal noticed that the leader's conscience was out of whack so the leader tried getting rid of him. There was a scene where Mena was captured by the leader but the storm suddenly changed directions from the island toward where Mena and the leader were. The leader was killed off and Mena was buried but alive. It was such a good setup for Mik'kal to be all angsty and hone in on that will-she-wont-she-be-alive thing but there was absolutely no suspense, no emotions. It just seemed like the characters were checked out of the story by that point.
Mena was of course not dead, and she blabbed off about a "her" telling Mena that the storm was sent to kill the leader because "she" was pissed off at him for trying to kill off another generation of humans again. I get it, saved for the next books or whatever, but it was never brought up again, absolutely not a peep, it was wild.
Overall, it's an alien book with bdsm and only bdsm?

This book was a very dark read. The hero does not care about the heroine's feelings. He constantly rapes her. He tells her she's his slave for life. She tells him then why would her life be worth living. The hero does not give her pleasure. He only cares about his own pleasure.
SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER
Humans came to his planet and planned to invade. So they took all the people off of the ship with submissive tendencies and sent the other humans to an island to live on. Most of the humans didn't know about this deal and would have objected. The decision to invade was only made by a few humans, the rest thought the planet was empty.
Hero forces heroine to call him "Master" and kneel constantly on a hard piece of material. He forces her to lick and suck his genitals. He forces her to have anal sex. He forces her to eat his genital secretions on her food for breakfast every morning. He locks her in a closet with her hands behind her back so she can't even sleep comfortably.
He holds her under water in his bathtub repeatedly to teach her how to hold her breath when he wants her to suck his genitals. He never gives her any pleasure during all of this. It's just whatever he wants to do.
Heroine resists and finally gives up. She says he punishes her for every little thing so why wouldn't she just give up. Now hero is upset she is not resisting him. She tries to tell him about consensual relationships on earth and he doesn't want to hear about it.
She is also worried he will rent out her womb as a breeder and force her to have alien babies that he will then take away for the other family to raise. He tells her he hadn't decided yet.
The "nirza" is part of the planet that makes people violent. Hero's nirza likes it when he hurts her.
Again, the hero doesn't care about her feelings. I skipped to the end of the book just to see how it ended. She is still his slave and they agree to try for a baby together.
I just felt bad for the heroine. I still don't believe that the hero loved her.
Ms. Kisker is a new to me author so I only went by the blurb of the book which got my attention immediately I enjoyed the storyline and plot it was captivated and I was gripped from start to finish. I liked her writing style and the story is told in duel points of view, but mostly through Mena’s eyes. The characters were an interesting bunch. Mean is a strong courageous young lady. She’s brave, loyal and has a submissive side to her. But that side is only in the bedroom, outside of it she’s her own woman. Mikkal is the one I had a problem with. He’s cruel, mean and merciless. Yes he’s an alien where his beliefs and ideas are very different than humans. But not to have any compassion and sympathy for Mena made him despicable to me. The story is hot and at times a fan is definitely needed. But the pleasure was only one sided. Mikkal didn’t understand and didn’t care to reciprocate in giving pleasure to Mena. What I appreciated was that the author did have development and growth with Mikkal’s character. At this point I started to warm to him a bit. He had an aha moment and everything started to finally click in his brain. I’m glad I took a chance on this author and the book. And I’m looking forward to Addy’s story.
Mikkal is a senator on the planet of Kazar. Mena is a human sent from earth to populate a supposedly uninhabited planet. The earth scientists were mistaken. Kazar is totally populated by a strong group of dominant aliens. They have dealt with humans in the past and are allowing these interlopers to survive in an isolated environment by agreeing to sacrifice their submissives as slaves.
OMG! Mena is forced to take part in a series of tests consisting of pleasure and pain, where her reactions are recorded. Ms. Kisker is an absolute genius with words. My heart is beating strongly and my emotions are thoroughly involved in the effects of this testing on Mena. So far, this is an extremely erotic and salaciously enticing story. And, as Mena becomes slave to Mikkal, it only gets more stimulating, arousing, and deliciously decadent.
I highly recommend this fascinating story of dominance and submission, pleasure and pain.
A wonderfully riveting read, start of a new series
This is a really highly charged read that once you begin turning the pages and reading, you will find yourself being totally away by the characters and the actual plot.
Mena has become the sacrifice for an alien she has never even seen before all she knows is the stories that she has heard told and nothing more, she now belongs to Kazir and he can do whatever he wants with her whenever and how ever he wishes.
However, this is far from what Kazir actually wants but she is convinced that she is now going to experience terrible suffering, only time will tell. He finds himself very drawn to the female and is a little surprised at the fact.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.Regards,
What can I say? I'm a sucker for a good world build, and Sophie Kisker has given us a new original setting rife with possibilities and an alien people that are intriguing. It was a great landscape to drop this story in. Tribute was a fast paced, steamy read. Mik'kal was an enemy to lover for both myself and Mena in ways. I had a hard time with him, warming slowly, much like Mena in ways, and maybe that made it better. Mena herself was a really relatable character and reading about the two together was thoroughly exciting. I read this book too quickly and now I want more, of these characters, of this world. I guess I'll settle for other books by Sophie for now. In any case, if you enjoy alien erotic tales, and look for deep, original world building, you'll thoroughly enjoy Sophie. It's not for the faint of heart though, so reader be warned.
Unexpected Surprise. I was not expecting this story to be so raw and emotional. I don’t think I stopped crying from empathizing her humiliation. A kink gone extreme and our strong female fights fiesty and sassy. That I loved but when the depression hit her - brutal. The fact we get Senator Mik’kal Isyll’s point of view helps with his abhorrence to humans. Being involved with Mena Clarke allowed him to change in a good way. He found love which is an awe moment. His honor of protecting the humans and listening to his nirza (inner beast) was entertaining - especially the purring. The poetic justice of the planet’s nirza was a plot twist which was clever and amazing. Again wasn’t what I was expected and a total surprise. Definitely meant for mature readers as there are very graphic scenes and BDSM.
The first book in a new series by Sophie Kisker. It has some dark elements, but the overall feel of the book isn’t that dark, because of the characters and their development.
I loved that the book shows the story from both Mena and Mikkal points of view. We get to go inside their heads and see their emotions, feelings and struggles with these emotions. It is not easy coming to terms with the darker side of yourself, that side you have been hiding.
I enjoyed the story and the characters a lot. There is a lot going on, so I didn;t stop reading until I was finished.
This book was really well done, Ms. Kisker had intelligent issues discussed while presenting a “dark romance.” I liked Mena working through her mental state, trying to figure what was true and real and what was more like “Stockholm Syndrome.” The nirza was discussed as a reason for the Kazari people’s violent tendencies, but by the end of the book, the nirza was akin to Gaia.
Anyway, a lot of interesting ideas, but the story read well and I was very happy with the end. I look forward to the next book and Addy’s story.
I love this author and her imagination and this one is a doozy. Poor sweet strong submissive Meena is put up for auction and Mikkal is bullied into buying her. It is a relationship born in anger but develops in ways that they do not expect. There are plenty of elements that makes this story a real page-turner. This is a si-fi fantasy BDSM with some violence. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I very highly recommend it. This is a wonderful, enthralling and entertaining story.
As someone who enjoyed Ms. Kisker's Nectar series, to which she'd set the bar high, she blew it out of the water with this first Tribute book in what I hope will be many, many stories. It's been a while since I've read a book that left me hot and bothered and reaching for...some help. Mena and Mik'kal were great together as they navigated the parameters of interspecies relations as well as their own D/s relationship. The glimpses we get of Mena's new world are intriguing and I cannot wait to find out what comes next.
I'm going to start this review off by saying that it's dark, so if that's not your thing then this one is maybe not the right book for you. However, I love me some dark reads. I read so many dark reads that it's becoming rare for me to find a book that makes me pause, but this one did. I love stories that have incredible world and character building and this one has both. It's also very, very steamy. I'm a new reader of Ms. Kisker, but I'm a solid fan now and want to devour everything she writes. I highly recommend this one.
Personally this was a 2 star read but to be fair (because it’s not the authors fault that I didn’t realise what the story was going to be about) I’m giving it 3 stars. Unfortunately I didn’t pay enough attention to the blurb to realise that this book wouldn’t be my cup of tea. The writing style was good and the story arc was good too, it’s just that the story content is not something I was comfortable with. I’m sure others that are into this kind of storyline and dynamic will enjoy it.
Let me start by warning everyone, this book has some really dark parts to it. Mik'kal is not an easy hero. He's cruel and abusive to Mena and I felt sorry for her often. Despite this the book is really good and I only took one star because I felt the end was incomplete.
Tribute was published over a year ago and we're still waiting for Addy's story. I really hope more about Mena and Mak'kal one day.
Dark and wonderful Mark ms Kisker’s warning at the beginning of the book, like all her books: This book contains dark themes. If you're not sure where dark themes can go, this may not be the book for you. And it gets very dark in this book. But it is also funny. And ends in a HEA. It describes all aspects of the BDSM lifestyle, even when it is up to Mena to point out the trust and care part to Mik’kal. Add their budding love for each other and everything is complete.
This was really good… Captives of Kazir. What’s supposed to be a sanctuary turns out to be a nightmare for the human refugees. The planet they had relocated to was already inhabited by a violent race. Things go from bad to worse when their ships captain gave some of their group to be auctioned as slaves in exchange for the rest to be able to land safely. Mena’s new owner Mik’kal quickly sets the tone for how things are going to be…
She is back with a bang. Ms. Kisker hasn't released a book in a while but it was so worth the wait. Absolutely enjoyed reading this dark and twisted tale. Well written and a unique storyline. Mena is a character that you will really care about and Mik'kal is one you want to smack upside the head. But he figures it out and I did come to like him a little bit. Great story.
Definitely an interesting side of a Master who just takes and takes not showing the slightest bit of kindness to his slave. It takes his strong willed slave to give him a sit down and advise him on his lack of understanding. Character development was good which gave you insight into life on this planet. This creatively written storyline is not for everyone.
