Lone Star is the perfect blend of fact and fiction about two high school sweethearts who prove that the heart will always know what it wants despite the couple having different plans for the future. Kate Kinsley writes the perfect military romances and leaves you wanting more with each brilliant book she writes. Aubrey and Bennett's story is moving and I would love for it to be extended into a full length novel because I want to spend more time getting to know this couple better.

This is a short story only 57 pages so it's a quick read. It was previously published in "Drafted Vol 1 " Audrey has graduated high school and thinks she has her whole life planned with the love of her life Bennett. This book follows their lives. Bennett has joined the Navy and want's to become a Seal and leaves Audrey behind. Can he still have Audrey and be a Seal after all this time? Has she moved on and forgotten him? Can they become a couple? Or is the love still there.

Bennett & Audrey are the high school sweethearts you want to see succeed and have everything they want in life. That is what Audrey thought to, until Bennett joined the Navy and went away. There is so much feeling in this book and it is a quick read. I found myself not wanting to put it down until I was finished! Such an amazing book that will have you believing love can conquer all!

Aubrey and Bennett are high school sweethearts.. After graduation, Bennett joins the Navy with the dream of being a Navy SEAL and Aubrey goes off to college.. With promises of letters, Bennett does write to Aubrey when he can but the then he abruptly ends things. Years later when Bennett comes back home, will Aubrey be there ?

Lonestar is a fairly quick read and you will find yourself hooked and wanting more from this author. Bennett and Aubrey were high school sweethearts, but he chose a military career instead of college can these two stay together or will the challenges end up coming between them?this book was so good and I still want more from them.

What a wonderful high school sweetheart story! Aubrey and Bennett were separated when he left for the Navy with dreams of being a Seal and she went to college. This book was a short story that leaves you wishing for more! But a great glimpse into their lives and their story.

Lone Star is another fantastic military read from Kate Kinsley. She writes the perfect Military stories.

The main characters Bennett and Aubrey are high school sweethearts. They each have plans for a future together. Bennett loves Aubrey with everything he is but he loves his country too. He joins the military intent on becoming a Seal. Aubrey heads off to college. Long distance relationships are hard and theirs is no different. Life has different plans for them.
Eight years later can the two deny what they’ve always known? Give us more Bennett and Aubrey Kate Kinsley.
