This Novella was very short -read in under an hour. I liked that the story picked up right from where the last book left off. Each of the eight chapters were alternating points of view between Amber and Granite. It seemed that there was a lot of telling of the story with very little dialogue. It also felt as though significant things just “happened” and then the story progressed to the next twist. With all the buildup from the previous story I was a bit surprised by what happened as quickly and easily as it did. I am not sure where the plot is going based on the strange family encountered on the mountain and the cliffhanger ending (again). I do want to know what happens but don’t feel as emotionally involved with the characters as I would like to be. Perhaps much more is revealed in the next instalment?

When Amber goes to try to climb down another part of the mountain to reach Granite, Clay attacks her and holds them both hostage. When Amber gets the chance, she takes care of Clay once and for all to get him out of their lives. When Granite is well enough to travel, they head to the spot deeper in the mountain range but when they come upon a house, will their safety be compromised? The story ends in a HFN with cliffhanger.

Clay, Granite’s brother, had turned out to be the murderer of Granite’s wife. Clay had to have whatever Granite had. Now that obsession will be turned to Amber, Granite’s new love.

The story is very exciting and suspenseful with Granite and Amber in the mountains, trying to escape danger. Granite is injured but wants to protect Amber. This part of the story focuses on survival as the two of them are fighting for their lives! Be ready for the cliffhanger – you know it’s waiting for you!

part three of the perilous nightmare Amber and Granite have landed in, first they have to survive the mountain which tries to kill them, then there is an unexpected threat and a sweet revelation at the end when it looks like our survivors have found the end of their journey. I am now so hooked that I can.t wait for the next part to come out to see what will happen to our intrepid heroes.

This book is just as good as the others in this series so far. This one has one h3ll of a beginning which makes the story interesting. There is some suspenseful stuff to start off this book. Though at the end things are a little weird. I so can't wait until book #4. I want to know what lies ahead for Granite and Amber. This book ends on a cliffhanger and its best to read books 1 and 2 first.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.

This is a continuation of Granite and Amber's dramatic love story, I do suggest reading the previous books first, it does end on a cliffhanger.

Granite and Amber are on the run in the mountains, danger snapping at their heels, can they overcome the danger following them to have a HEA.

Fast-paced and quick to read. Both Granite and Amber are really likable, they have a wonderful connection between them.
