I watched this big, gorgeous doctor, lose all use of his left arm as he stayed completely still, not wanting to wake the tiny, sleeping puppy. One side of his handsome face creased from the pillow, but the marks couldn’t hide his strong jaw, a hint of stubble sprinkled across it, making this gentle healer look both sexy and dangerous.
"What do we do when the storm hits?”
He plopped the sleeping puppy in my lap and stretched, running his fingers through his hair. I had to blink twice, realizing that without the white coat and baggy scrub top, he was hot! Barefoot in just a white t-shirt and low slung scrub pants after his shower, his broad shoulders, narrow hips and tight abs were on display. “I guess we make it up as we go along, kinda like we have been doing.” He glanced up at the TV again, temporarily on mute.
“That doesn't make me feel real confident we're gonna survive this.” I watched the silent weatherman, reading the updates scrolling across the bottom, and watching the apocalyptic waves filmed already reaching the coast.

This was a good read. Luke and Rae are both here helping out. There is a big storm and tears the area apart. Now they are running from the bad guys that believe they have something. Of course they fall for each other. The good news is that they both actually live in the same city and can have their happy ending.

Luke was a doctor who come to the islands for a "vacation" from the fast paced Boston ER scene. Rae was a financial planner who was on a working vacation while volunteering to build for Habitat for Humanity. Rae gets a nasty bump on the head and the site supervisor takes her to the island clinic where she meets Luke. From there on Hurricane Nemo decides that they aren't going to be seeing the last of each other. The two are thrown together for a week in the clinic fighting to survive as well as fighting their growing feels for each other.
Once the storm passes and the two try and escape, they find a gang roaming the island and run back to hide at the clinic where they braved out the storm. As a result they found Rae's ex half dead hidden outside of the clinic, and a couple runs in as well to be safe from the gang as well as for medical as the woman is pregnant.
The adventure continues with Rae finding exactly what the gang is looking for, but they also survive a aftershock tidal wave, being hunted by the gang, and finally almost drowning in the waterway that seperated the island from landfall.
This was a heart-pounding story that I absolutely loved and will definitely be going after once I get paid soon.

Luke is the sixth book in the Bachelors Incorporated series and time time the story is about Luke and Rae. He is an emergency room doctor and she is a financial planner. They both end up "vacationing" on an island off the coast of Florida. He is there filling in as a doctor in a clinic for a friend and she is helping build houses with Habitat for Humanity. They first meet when she is a patient after she falls and knocks her head. When she leaves the clinic after he patches her up she ends up returning because of the weather. Mother Nature has plans for these two and is sending a hurricane their way to keep them locked in the clinic together. They may survive the hurricane but will they survive all the hurricane but can the make it though what happens afterwards?
Once again this is another well written and very entertaining story by the author. The story-line is engaging and the characters are very likeable. What I was a bit disappointed about was that there were no men from the previous books in this series.

Rae is helping building a house for Habitat for Humanity on an island off the Florida coast. They are packing up on site because of an approaching storm when she has a fall and ends up with a blow to the head. She is dropped off at the local medical clinic and meets Dr Luke Reed. Luke is taking the clinic for a week while the regular doctor is on his honeymoon. He patches up Rae and she departs for her house while Luke is closing up the clinic. The weather is so bad that Rae ends up back at the clinic, and Luke is stuck there because his car won't start. They are trapped at the clinic as the hurricane hits, but that is not all they have to deal with. What does the local gang want?

Allison has written a great story with great characters that was just what I needed while on lock-down with kids.
I loved the whole adventure.
The timeline is great and the chemistry from Luke and Rae was great. I love when the roles are reversed and the woman has a brain and know how to use it.
Had my heart stopping with the whole baby thing I could have done without but it was well done.
The only drawback was there wasn't any of the past (Bachelors Incorporated) men in this story not even by phone.
Any-hoo I can't wait for the next book.

Luke a doctor from Boston taking the place of his buddy while goes on his honeymoon , supposedly a few scraps snd removing fishing hooks turns out it gets a whole lot more complicated. Weathering more than the tropical storm that hits.

This was very good. Lots of different stories here. Luke was filling in for a friend on an island off Florida as a doctor at a clinic. Rae was on a vacation building houses for the needy. They met when she got hurt on the job. A hurricane hits and they have to help each other survive along with Puddles. There are some good guys and very bad guys in the story and lots of adventure where you aren't sure who will survive. I couldn' put it down

Ooo wow, this book had me on the edge of my chair the whole time!
It was my first book by Allison LaFleur but it won’t be my last.
What a great book and what a story, Luke the nerdy doctor who became the rock for Rae and the adventures they were in, I wouldn’t want to trade with them.
If you like a good story with romance, action and suspense, you really have to read this!

I've read several books written by Allison LaFleur; she has done a great job at writing a good book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I enjoyed Luke and Rae's story! It's a fairly quick read that is fast paced, interesting and a good addition to the "Bachelors Incorporated". It's an action packed story story about finding more and surviving. The steamy story that is nicely developed with good characters. It's a good story about Rae, who is on a working vacation, and a doctor in need of getting away from his fast paced life. They meet when she is injured and have to ride out a storm, face a gang and other things.

This is the story of Rae and Luke. Rae is on the island with Habitat for Humanity and while packing up the site due to an impending hurricane, she falls and gets a huge bump on her head. Taken to the local clinic Luke is the attending doctor and patches her up. They get stuck at the clinic and this is where the story gets very interesting. Its action packed. This book 6 in the Bachelors Incorporated Series is very well-written, insta-love, happily-ever-after, STEAMY romance. This story is well-created with characters that have substance and grow with the story - this story has an intense storm and and emotions running through it. There are no cliffhangers, no cheating and has HEA. Must Read

I really like Rae. She has a good heart and she gives her all in her work and in charity. She is strong and sweet and loving. I like Luke. He is a great doctor and a great friend. He is kind and caring and sweet. The twists and turns of the story keep you on your toes and turning the pages to see what is next. The book moves at a pretty good clip and is well written and easy to read.

This novel had a lot of good moments, a lot of sweet moments; BUT it also had lot of just okay moments and just a sliver of the romance that the title implied. However, even though there were times when it would lull, I never pondered choosing another novel for immediately something would grab my attention again. There was always something slightly spicy or mysterious which would reel me back in to stick by the side of this author. In the end, though, I'm glad I finished reading this novel.

This was a great story. It was well written and fast paced. The chemistry between the characters was sizzling hot. This book has everything you need to keep you turning pages hot sexy men, steamy scenes and some conflict thrown in. I cannot wait for what this author writes next.

The author has given us characters we can care about. Luke and Rae are both working on the island when a hurricane hits. What do two people from Boston know about hurricanes? They will both have to survive the hurricane, along with their rescued puppy, in order to have any type of relationship.

Luke and Rae both went to the small tropical island for humanitarian reasons. What the encountered was a hurricane, isolation, man and nature made destruction, smugglers, intimidation, death, birth, survival, and love. The world building was exceptional with well defined characters. Great read!

A compelling fast pace book six in the Bachelors Incorporated series! The story line is survival is well-developed, emotionally deep, well written, engaging, and steamy with suspense, danger, and twists and turns. The characters are likeable; their chemistry is amazing! Definitely recommended!

The excitement
I almost can't handle the excitement and drama in these books. Lol
Allison does an amazing job of drawing you in so you can't put the book down until you're done reading. You just need to know everything that happens.
These 2 went through a lot to be together but they made it.
