Cracking my bedroom door, I slipped out into the hall on bare, silent feet. As I tiptoed past the room next to mine, the door opened.

“Where do you think you’re going?” A disheveled Ben peered out, rubbing sleep from his eyes.

Story line is great and I loved the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Unexpected twists and turns had me reading this book in one sitting. Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!

I enjoyed Ben’s and Selena’s story it’s a fantastic read. Ben is ex ops he works for Scorpion Security they do the things that other security companies won’t even touch, Ben is being sent to Venice Italy to be a bodyguard to the mafia’s daughter Selena and Ben’s expecting a princess but the photo that he has of her she is absolutely beautiful her father Vigo Bianchi is worried for his daughter’s safety and it’s lucky that Ben had turned when he did because he saw a waiter put something in her coffee. Selena is an artist she didn’t want another bodyguard she didn’t take it too seriously but after Ben had saved her life now she is and she’s glad he’s there with her. Sexy Ben who has more muscles than the models at her art school he looks dangerous and sinfully sexy and that’s not good for an imagination like hers. That’s all I’m going to give you guys but there is so much more to this story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Over the top instalove romance between TSTL mafia princess and her bodyguard. Selena is an art student facing unknown threats because of her mafia family. From their first meeting in a public cafe, her life is at stake. Throughout the story, Selena does what she wants, goes where she wants and has no regard for anything except her painting. She supposedly shows concern that her driver has to work on Christmas, but could not care less when he is killed moments later. Ben is supposed to be a hard nosed security specialist, but lets Selena do what she wants. If you want a quick read with little substance, this is the book for you.

This is the first book that I have read in this series. I liked Ben, he was a good character who was developed and likeable. Selena was an interesting character, although she did annoy me at times. I liked the flow of the story but thought it needed a little bit more in places and an extra chapter or a epilogue might have helped to answers some of the questions I was left with regards to their relationship, the outcome of both jobs, her family and their future.

Ben is sent to guard Selena. Her father has kept her sheltered from his business dealings, but fears for her safety. His main rival would love to get her to manipulate him. Since she doesn't see the need, she tries to constantly shake Ben off her path. As they spend time together they become closer. But when they have an arguement, she runs one time too many. Now can he find and save her before it's too late? And can he live without her if he fails? I wanted a much stronger ending. I wanted the whole HEA.

This book was starting off in the right direction but for the military time at the beginning of each chapter. I think that got in the way of the story. Yes he is ex military and it seems we the readers had to be reminded of that at each chapter.
I was enjoying the story but it ended without an ending, they are boyfriend and girlfriend, but what happen with her parents and the war that was coming?

I would give it a higher rating if only there was conclusion or ending...

The author has given us characters that we can understand. Ben, bodyguard, and Selena, college student and mafia princess, meet when Scorpion Security is hired to protect her from a rival family. Being together continually, Ben and Selena find that they have feelings for each other. The problem is that Ben must keep her safe while she tries to maintain some of her independence.

I really enjoyed this novel about Ben and Selena. I especially liked Selena’s enthusiasm no matter what the circumstance. I also liked how each of the main characters had to deal with their own preconceptions about themselves and each other before they could deal with a relationship. I was also a big fan of the intrigue in this novel.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Christmas in Italy

Ben is a novella in the Bachelors Incorporated series by Allison LaFleur. It is a fast-paced and quick "Christmas" story about Ben, one of the Scorpion Security men, and Selena, an Italian mob boss's daughter. When Selena is in need of a bodyguard it is Ben who is pulled from an assignment he was going to and redirected to Italy to take on the task of guarding her body.
I quite enjoyed this novella and would recommend it to other readers.

Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, hot and steamy, lust and passion, strength, happiness with a happily ever after. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

Loved the story, Love this whole series.
Ben was great just wish this was a full story instead of a novella. I just keep thinking of all the trouble that could follow them back to the US.

I enjoyed Ben and Selena's story! It's a fairly quick holiday read that is fast paced and interesting. It's a fun steamy story that is nicely developed with good characters. It's a touch over the top and somewhat instant love between a mob princess and her body guard.
