Why God? Why Islam? is one of the most balanced books l've read on faith. It's not emotional, it's not preachy, it's direct, structured, and very relevant to the kind of questions young people today are genuinely asking. The book is divided into two parts, the first explores the question of God's existence through logical reasoning, and the second focuses on why Islam, specifically, makes sense in the modern world. It addresses topics like atheism, science vs. religion, the problem of evil, and moral relativism, all in a way that feels natural and unforced. As a university student myself, I found this particularly helpful. Environments like mine are full of ideological diversity, and it's easy to either get confused or feel unequipped to handle tough questions. This book doesn't just affirm belief, it equips you with the intellectual tools to understand why you believe ( obviously on a basic level ) and how to have meaningful conversations with those who don't. It's written in simple language, yet doesn't compromise on depth. Perfect for anyone looking to explore the foundations of belief in a clear and accessible way.
a concise yet brilliant introduction to the question of why god & why islam. fast paced and easy to understand language, should be read by advanced learners too, to have an idea about how to engage lay people in these conversations or answer their doubts.
The author bases the narrative on rationality but continues to sound imposing and highly biased. To be able to present a complete analysis, the arguments for and against shouldn't be partial.
A mutual wrote this book. It gives a good insight and makes a man think and pushes him to pursue more knowledge about the religion and questions about life. I would say the grammar and syntax is not that impressive but overall I would recommend young readers to read this book if they have instinctive questions about Islam and religions.
