4-1/2 STARS!
This is the 2nd book in the Anniston Secrets Duet and is a perfect conclusion to Axel and Harlow's story. This upcoming author writes books filled with honesty and grit that will entertain and engage readers of all ages!
Harlow is a bada$$ who has just found out she has family she never knew about. She loves her sisters fiercely and her friends who are like family to her. Axel has gotten thru her defenses and is deeply ensconsed in her heart. They have all united to fight against Marcus, Axel and Cass's father, who tried to kill Drew, Harlow's brother and Axel's best friend. He is a Drug Lord who gets people addicted to control and manipulate them. Marcus has his sights set on destroying Harlow.
I love Harlow! Her loyalty, her spunk, her determination, her attitude and her love for family. Axel was her perfect mate, he matched her in every way and was the only one who could calm her when she panicked. The chemistry between them was magnetic. Harley and Hanna were her world as Cass was Axel's. The way they were all woven in together into one big warm family was comforting. Drake was the perfect Patriarch and we were given the best ending to this crazy ride of a book!

This book definitely leans more towards a suspenseful romance as Axel and Harlow go through hell and back, along with their closest friends and family as they face the threats and attacks from Axel’s father.
I loved seeing Harlow finally being part of a family who love her and her sisters, doing everything to protect them so she no longer suffers alone.
So much happens in this book and a lot more characters are introduced which leaves the series open for possible books for the secondary characters.
