The book is a nice intro to the DISC concept. But for that it felt too long. There are a lot of ideas how to use DISC, but most of them stay really on the surface and just repeat the concept over and over.
Another aspect I didn't like that much, it feels like the authors bring DISC as a single standing concept, which feels really strange to me. Looking just through DISC categories people are stereotyped and the next people problem is probably just around the corner. I would have wished, that the others acknowledged more the limits of the DISC concept and give a hint on other strategies and techniques to accompany DISC.
So, a good intro to DISC, a relatively short read and especially the beginning with the 2 questions assessment is very good. But probably there is better material out there.
This is a story teller series about how DISC helped to solve and bridge the gaps between people styles. It may be not new but also the difference is in depth and how to share via stories.
Authors shared a lot of tips at each story, and the view of each styles in DISC about others, the helpful suggestion to be closer the different.
Cultural may have a slight different, and need an approach adjusting to get better value. It needs to experiences and approach.

Excellent resource for any business, school, or nonprofit. I loved the anecdotes, scenarios and actual examples. This book is filled with easy to understand solutions to the problems associated with teamwork and results. I will be recommending this to my own administration. I see great value in all team members reading this and implementing the DISC-EQ process.
This book was a good reminder of how to improve on EQ. The DISC model they refer to in the whole book hadn’t completely convinced me the first time round, but the book convinced me it’s probably the most actionable personality model in improving your interactions with others.
I appreciated the examples from those people who shared their experiences. It was good to see real.world examples. This book was an easy read but provided good information... A nice combination.
Really important concept especially as we move further into remote work teams. I always love personality tests and the way Brett and Evans break down DISC EQ and then give examples on how your profile may be affecting your communication, decision making, and leadership style is great.
Overall a good book about the importance of DISC-EQ but a lot of it felt repetitive. The best chapter, in my opinion, was the last about leadership being a relationship. I’ll keep on my bookshelf for future reference.
This book provides everything you need to improve your communication skills: real-life examples, tips/action items, and explanations of different communication styles. Even though it's mostly geared towards communication in the workplace, the concepts are applicable to other areas of life as well. The text is straightforward and well-organized, making it easy to internalize the concepts.
