Clean..
Never thought that something of such genre could be so clean and fun. Loved the way it was set up to keep the story clean and fair. No dirty jokes, no vulgarity.
Like the way Maxence behaved but Dree still looked doubtful to me after her encounter with Maxence.
Overall, it was a good going with it.
However, there were some open loops as well;
* If Dree was staying in District 93 the how come she had facilities above the level of slum?
* She was intended to f*ck every men in bar and was about to get raped still she chooses to went back in, why?
* Maxence was Alpha but he used managed to get best out of situation even when he was shown to had no bad intentions?
* Seine-Saint-Denis is the most affect are from crime in Paris for real then why any tourist, no matter how poor she is (yes, SHE), went to stay in district 93?
* Girls screams so many thing in drunk state in pubs, but never seen guys rounded them around literally, then why such plot?
So much weak points, hence I chose to give it 4-stars (degrading it from 5*) after realising I was so much lenient initially. That 4* too for clean writing only.

→ So, Dree escapes a gang rape, but she's ready to go back because, yeah, who cares?
→ Maxence wants to help, but hey, let's get something out of it because she's going to do so much worse?
→ Does Buddha Bar management really want to know the kind of bad ad it can be having a girl almost raped at the bar and no one cares?
→ What is the District 93?!
→ Who transformed Seine-Saint-Denis in a no go zone, for real?
→ Butter and jam are sold with baguettes, not with croissants.
→ Man, do the Grimaldis even imagine Rainier died (again)?
→ Man (bis), do the Grimaldis EVEN imagine someone swapped Albert?
The thing is, from the little I saw from Maxence / Augustine (man, that confession was funny), this could be a better book. But it's so, so wrong.

Not connecting with the characters at all and apparently it’s a cliffhanger.
No backstory on either character but maybe it comes out later.
Pity because it might have made me finish.
Started out with the h drinking tequila shots in a bar then announcing she’s going to f**k every guy in the bar. When a bunch of guys start crowding her to take up her offer she freaks and the H saves her. Ok, but then she drunkenly tried to return to the bar to complete her task. WTF? She takes him home and they do the deed. Morning after is where I gave up.

Don't bother. This book starts and then ends with the notification that I could continue to read this book if I purchase it. This author is on my bad list.

This is a good excerpt from the first book in Maxence's story, which I have been waiting for. Maxence is an interesting character, and this short novella provides a good introduction to his love interest, Dree. It certainly caught my interest.
I will say that I didn't realize it wasn't a separate novella -- only an excerpt of part of the 1st book, Rogue. If I had known that, I probably would not have read it.
I am glad I waited until all the Maxence books were out to start this series -- because I can't wait to find out what happens next. I won't give spoilers on the other Billionaire books, but I will say that I absolutely did not think Pierre suffered enough for what he had done.
My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

Whoa this was steamy and intense and I ended up having to skim some of the more uncomfortable parts - red flag spoilers below. However Blair continues to write exciting, interesting and engaging stories with complicated characters that hook you and this book takes place in one of my favourite cities - romantic Paris. For Blair Babylon fans this won't disappoint - it is a rollercoaster ride full of steam heat and mystery and adventure that you just can't put down, and you will run to buy the rest of the book.
Major Red Flag Warning for some readers: Dree’s drunken risky announcement in a packed bar leads to sexual groping and a fearful situation that could be a HUGE trigger for some readers. In addition in their initial sexual encounter, while there may be implicit consent on her part at times, there is no verbal consent regarding some activites that could also be a red flag for some readers concerning Max’s behaviour and his Dom demands. Most concerning is her trepidation and potential tears about what is happening, so readers beware.
Final Rating: 4.5 Stars because the sexual kink is not my catnip, and I had to skim some of these scenes.

Hooked already, what a great start to Maxs story
I knew when I started reading this book I would be drawn into another great series by this author.
Ms Babylon is an author who can world build a series that will take you away from the hum drum life. This book transported me away from the monotonous dreary reality of work to the cosmopolitan city of Paris.
Max is a character who has been in other books bassd in the billionaire world of the authors, but has always been a bit of an enigma. Hes captured my interest well before his book was being written. I can't wait to see what Blair Babylon has in store for Max and Dree

I've loved the Billionaires in Disguise series and have been waiting for Maxence's story. This is a teaser - more to come in Rogue... Loved the chemistry between Maxence and Dree and how they are sharing parts of themselves under the guise of telling lies... interesting premise... what will really be interesting is to see what happens when lies become truths... can they survive or will they have to rethink everything? Blair Babylon continues to grab my interest from the get-go and leaving me wanting more...May just have to go back and re-read some of those other Billionaires stories...

Because this is a teaser for Rogue Max story i wont give to much away it starts where one night in Monaco end with him savi g Dree in the budda bar. It gets steamy he cant seem to stop himself from wanter her. Dree wants him too but wants only one night but he comes back the next day. She shares her story and they make plans which we will learn more when the Rogue is realses on oct 20. I am so excited. Cant wait for Rogue

This is the story of a young women that decided on the spur of the moment after things seem to be going wrong in her life to take the ticket she had bought for her and her boyfriend to go to Paris and go herself. Her boyfriend was definitely acting strange before she left, in fact she thought she would be taking the trip with him. Dree Clark meets Max at the Buddha bar and there is where the story begins with them. I am definitely going to get the next in the series. It looks to be an exciting series and that Maxence seems 🔥🔥🔥 Hot.

I should have read more about this, looked at the reviews before reading. I really enjoyed this book, but it was too short and doesn't end FOR FOUR MORE BOOKS! This just ticks me off because I REALLY like Maxence and Dree. I liked the story, I liked the meet-cute, I liked how they were together (although the sex was a bit too descriptive). I might consider buying book #2 but if I have to buy FOUR to get the entire story, it's not happening. NOT A STANDALONE and no happy ever after.

I’ve just read this introduction to ‘Rogue’ and I cannot believe the proposition that Maxence has just offered to Dree! Given what’s already transpired between them after only one day, the next four days – and nights in Paris might very well be more than any woman bargained for. We are talking about Maxence after all!

I can't wait for more of this in Rogue!
So, Indecent Proposal is a free book to whet your whistle for the full version of the story called Rogue which releases on October 20th. Based on these first five chapters, I think this series, about Maxence, may just be the hottest one that Blair has ever written. I've been a huge fan for years and I can't wait to read Rogue!

Now I'm hooked
Did not realize this was only 5 chapters of a book. Free or not i always pass on samples and get peeved when I get a "book" and it is only a few chapters. I am glad I didn't know because I loved what I read. Loved when she brought up "the butt stuff" so now I have to go buy the book!!

Dree's life is a train wreck. Max's life is a destiny many would swoon to 'endure'. They have a few days to play in Paris, an oath that they only lie to one another, a loonie and alternately lurid Bucket list and crazy hitmen. But, are they out to kill/kidnap Max or Dree? I can't wait for the next Maxence confessional! Love it!? 💘

So, sooo good!!!
This is my first foray (Yes! I know how stupid that makes me sound. But, let’s just go with it for now. Hmmm?) into a Blair Babylon story, but OH! MY! Goodness! This was so great. I love the start of this series! It is going to be incredible! I am certain that I will love it! I just won’t be able to help myself!!

Good read
How disappointing. I read Indecent Proposal which I enjoyed and then find out it is a six book series. Book one was free. Books two through six are $3.99 each. $20? Each book is what a 2-3 hour read. No thank you.
I really enjoyed the book. Well written. The plot drew me in and I wanted more. Unfortunately, it is out of my budget. I am a Kindle Unlimited person.

Fascinating
An accidental met in a bar is how Dree and Maxence start their wild and crazy time together. Bad decisions are what brought her to Paris. Max trying to help her makes her an offer to good to be true. Follow along as the craziness just keeps getting better. Loved this start to the series.

This is such a great introduction to Maxence’s story! When he meets Dree in Paris, he rescues her and determines he wants to help her. This story is the beginning of their time together. Just enough to see how great they are together. I cannot want to see where they go from here!

The free 86ish page version is not the full book it's a taster. I was curious as to what happened next by the time I'd read the first 86 pages, but I didn't download the rest because the wince inducing sex scene made me think that the book was written by a man.

I thought this was really funny, kind of felt sorry for both of them.She got played and I'm not sure what's wrong with him but this is the first start the next book continues so yes this is a cliffhanger!

This was an okay read. I wasn’t connected to the characters but I did enjoy the storyline. I also didn’t feel much chemistry between the two characters. I feel the next book would touch base on more of a connection. I’ll definitely read more from this author.
