No one does a more heartwarming and humorous Christmas book! This story is guaranteed to put a smile on your face! Highly recommend.

Great book, I finished it grinning from ear to ear!! I had an AH HA moment about 3/4 of the way through, when I realized this is the first of two Christmas books about this family, and I had already read book 2. IF you are looking for a sweet romance, set in England, this is one for you!!

Perfect holiday read
Once again SJ Crabb writes a fun holiday read. I stayed up til 3am to finish it and it was worth it, extreme fatigue at work and all.

It’s a few weeks before Christmas and Polly is in a mundane job. Going nowhere fast. She does not have a good relationship with her mom or dad. Who are divorced. Moms on husband number 3. Her roommate also Best Friend works for a dating service. She has made 2 dates for the same night convinces Polly to go on one. Polly meets the guy at a costume ball. He says he’s just looking for a date for the Christmas holidays. His ex did a lot of emotional damage to his family. He wants them to know he’s moved on and is happy. Polly agrees. The company she works for may be closing within months. She goes to lunch with Miles and his parents. They both feel guilty for making believe they are a couple. After a few more dates they realize they are in love. They get a Christmas miracle!! Love!!

Another great Christmas story by the author.
I always look forward to when another book comes out by this author. I get hooked into the story and characters straight away. It's books and stories like this, that make me enjoy reading so much.
This year has been difficult for many and stories like this, that are well written and easy to read at the same time uplifting is a welcome relief.
They give hope where sometimes there only seems to be despair and that sometimes good things do happen to everyday/ordinary people.
I specifically liked the main character and her ups and downs and found myself wishing/hoping better for her as the story unfolds.
Well worth the read,you will not be disappointed, nor any other of the authors books.
A full 5/5 stars for me.

Nice Escape!!! Wonderful Story!!!
Reminds me of the really old romances I read back in the day ( 40+ years ago). Light hearted, fun, rooting for heroine and love.
Need to escape the stress of the holidays or stressful day then this is the book.
There are important messages in this story. The first is be true to who you really are, do not be afraid! Second is a line from the story for us all to remember.

So good
What a great story
Polly works for a Christmas cracker company and is really tired of the same cheap items going into each cracker...she is unhappy at her job...but it is a pay cheque
Her best friend asks Polly to stand in for her one night as an escort...the party is in a rich hotel and she gets a dress so to speak from the gentleman that she is meeting
Well the book has a great cast of characters and I really enjoyed reading Polly's story
This is a new author for me and I'm happy to say I will be reading more of her books

This is a decent book, but if I'm being honest it's in no way the best book I've read from SJ Crabb. It's a sweet story about following your dreams, finding love in unexpected places and discovering your Christmas spirit. Polly was a great character who I warmed to instantly and I loved Pauline. Her "channel number five" had me chuckling to myself. It's a quick and easy read, full of Christmas spirit.

My Christmas Romance is a sweet, easy read. Polly took a bit of warming to but she turns out to be a really great character. I loved Miles from the start and his parents are an absolute delight. This book is a nice Christmas read with a HEA.. I enjoyed it and If you are a Hallmark fan or just love Christmas then I suggest you give this a read.

Uplifting Christmas Romance...
A warm and funny story that left me with a smile. I enjoyed the characters and their easy banter wishing they were real friends. This book is a wonderful read with a happy ending. I highly recommend you get yourself some hot cocoa and find a comfy chair and enjoy this Christmas time story.

A beautiful festive read, the characters are well written I loved Pauline who is the complete opposite to Annabella, the novel shows a true family get together at Christmas, Miles is a "miracle" to be sure. Roll on the next one.

Feel good, Happy Christmas
Such a good journey, feel good fun and set in an area I know so well.
Being a Londoner who know works in Bedfordshire it felt so close, here's hoping for a happy ending like theirs!
Great characters even the not so nice one, really enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to Christmas despite all that is happening in the world at the moment!

I really enjoyed this book. The heroine Polly was instantly appealing, willing to try to change her life with or without a man. Her love interest Miles was also a lovely character and his family just what we would all love for Christmas. I will look out for more books by this author who is new to me.

They are the type of stories to go b back to as a comfortable friend. Wonderful laugh out loud sequences and heartwarming. moral parts. Would recommend to everyone .

I found this story on a social media ad. A clean romance book . Lots of love & joy with a bit of drama sprinkled in. This story left me with a smile & sense that good things will come you just have to pray for miracles & sometimes they come true . I am going to read more by this Author. I truly felt in the Christmas spirit after my evening of reading this story.

As always, Ms Crabb's characters are well defined, the dialog is snappy, fun, and good-natured.
Also, as expected, this fun story had poignant conversations and epiphanies tossed in with the fun.
Plus, the good guys win and the baddies get their comeuppance.

This is an excellent book. I was captured from the very beginning. Loved the characters as they were warm and inviting especially Miles parents. A great, clean read on a chilly night.

Beautiful story that contains life lessons!
A funny romantic story!! Polly is such a relatable character. She is the epitome of practically every woman. Her thoughts and insecurities mimics mine. She overcame it all and won. I love her character. I didn’t want the story to end!

This was a cute, sweet book, but it really could have benefited from a good editor. There are several grammatical errors and some very clunky sentences. The story itself wasn’t bad.

Adorable
This book was absolutely adorable. I really liked the instant chemistry between an awkward Polly & a charismatic Miles. I really felt bad for Polly & her very sad childhood. It warmed my heart when Miles’ family just welcomed her with open arms & immediately loved her.
