Everything she survived led up to this. To him. To...love?
I’ve been plotting my escape from the compound for years. But plans change. My time’s up. I need out tonight.I don’t know where I’m going, but I can’t slow down. I can’t look back.
Stumbling into a nondescript bar in the middle of nowhere, I fall apart in the arms of a stranger with kind blue eyes. He whispers that I’m safe, but he can’t possibly promise that. He doesn’t know who chasing me.
Jax cleans me up and gives me a place to rest, but that has to be it. I can’t be selfish with the man who saved my life. But sometimes when he looks at me, I start to believe he’ll protect me and my secrets…
She’s everything he’s been waiting for. Can he earn her trust before it’s too late?
The little angel with gray eyes and a broken body will never know fear again. I’ll make sure of it. She doesn’t believe me when I say she’s safe here at my clubhouse, but I’ll earn her trust day by day.My brothers at Chaos MC may skirt the law sometimes, but we respect and honor women and children. I know they’ll have my back when it comes to fighting Claire’s demons. All she has to do is let us.
When secrets come to light and the threat becomes real, will Claire trust Jax to come for her?**Trigger This book talks about abuse in the past**What to expect from a Cameron Hart Lots of heat, plenty of sweet, and just enough drama to keep things interesting. No cheating, safe, guaranteed HEA!
Looking for alpha males, sassy heroines, steamy chemistry, and a guaranteed happily ever after? I've got you covered. My books pack plenty of Kindle melting action and lots of over the top swoon-worthy moments, with happily ever afters so sweet you just might get a cavity.
Go ahead and grab a glass of wine and get comfy. You've got some dirty, sweet romance novels to read!
If you enjoy Frankie Love, Elle Goode, MINK, and similar authors, then my books will be right up your alley.
New author. I really enjoyed this quick, insta-love story. It is hard to find safe mc books. Jax and Claire fought hard for their hfn. I look forward to more from this author.
First time reading this author and i gotta say i enjoyed it!! Fast pace very awesome!! MC books are rare in manwhores and ow drama.. so this one was pretty safe-ish
Jax is a member of the chaos MC he patches the guys up since he was a ex military man, and as of late he been eh about life until one night a damage, bleeding Claire walks into the MC bar asking for help. Already protective of her he takes care of her tending to all the wounds she gotten, already feeling a connection with her. Once Claire is awake and food inside of her he ask what happened, Claire was just going to give half truths so she didn't involved him or anyone but she broke down and told him her story.
And i gotta say my heart broke for Claire.. 😭😭😭 at age 16 she was forced by her parents to join a cult, since she was underage she couldn't leave she stayed their for 2 years until she turned 18 and told her parents the life wasnt for her.. but she was abused by her father and made a example of. The head of the cult locked her away for 2 months mentally torturing her and abusing her until she faked being all better, then she tried to run away only to be caught and tortured.. 😭😭😭
After Claire told Jax her story he wanted to kill the guys but he couldn't atleast not yet the club had other bussiness to take care of. The two grow closer and closer and Claire has a relationship with the woman at the club, Stacy the prez old lady and Mia a club girl. I love a good female friendship!!
Then we got some dramaaaa and angst Claire has to face her demons and girl is not letting them win she got her claws out!! I won't give away the ending cuz i enjoyed this book way to much!! I wanna read Mia and maybe Beth.
It would have been a solid 5 ⭐ if it had a epilogue :(
No ow drama slight om drama(cult leader), no cheating, sexy times, Drama, secondary chara, virgin gal and Celebite for a year for the guy
Recommend- yes Cover-⭐⭐⭐
Slowish-insta torture (it shows flashback to her being beaten) Older/younger couple Safe sex & no condom Masturbation Mental/physical abuse HFN

This book is one continuous Hurt/Comfort liquid dream 🥰. It's full of cuddles, wound treatment, "Who did this to you?", bad-dream soothing, caretaking, shower/bathing scenes/hair washing... Some good Found Family moments... Not to mention dirty talk & praise kink from an alphamallow that still throws her over his shoulder and f#cks her against a wall. 🥵
I'm feeling a little high from the oxytocin this book created. I swear I'll write a proper review when I'm coherent.
Dark but not too dark. Multiple times the story goes into some detail about the times Claire was being beaten, and locked up in isolation as punishment. There's definitely a heap of angst in this one, I really enjoyed it. Jax was just alpha enough, which worked for me given the situation Claire escaped. I typically like a real caveman but that wouldn't have worked here, Claire needed to be handled with kid-gloves for a while until she learned to trust people.

I read these books before but never wrote a review. This is for me to remember how much I hate this series. Safe ish No cheating virgin h Man whore H Lots of OW talk, OW's at the clubhouse (club bunnies the hero fucked regularly) explained how good the sex is and how good the blow jobs are). Celibate for a year, to me that makes no difference. A man whore is a man whore and I already dislike him. I dislike all of them. Dom looks at a clbbunny and goes to fuck her (he is the MMC in book 3) Slash went on mission and fucked a woman saying the pussy was worth it (he is the MMC in book 4) All of the heroes fuck everything that moves and I hate that. HFN Will never read again.
Great read. I loved it. First story for me from this author and it was really good. Only a few hours apart when she runs, but I don't count that. Safety gang: there was a threat from someone about raping her, but it doesn't happen. http://favoritestoriesinreview.com/20...

Generous 1.5⭐️ rounded up. I probably could have stopped reading this train wreck but, alas, I persisted. Don’t know how/when it ended up on my TBR since typically I stay away from MC club reads, but it’s kinda MC-lite, which worked in it’s favour. The Chaos club is more of a safe, white knight kinda club.
Anyways, very predictable “plot” with a lusty saviour MMC and a TSTL virginal FMC.
3rd read November 2024: still wonderfully OTT, deliciously spicy, great escapism!
Re-read September 2023: I needed a safe, comfort read and that was what this was! Jax is all in from the start and never wavered. Plenty of action, just what I was in the mood for!
Original review: OTT, instalove novella greatness! Just what I was in the mood for. I’ve been reading a lot of Cameron Hart stories lately and have yet to find one that wasn’t good. I love that this was a ‘safe’ MC read. No club whores, no OW drama, but women supporting women and fiercely alpha protective men. Some suspense and drama and hot steam to top it off. Delish! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Safety: No OW OM: cult leader wants to marry h. H takes care of him 😏 No cheating No separation / third act break up (unless you count that she runs away toward the end) Physical abuse on page (not by H)
If you like insta-love, this book is for you. I, myself do not really care for insta-love which is definitely why I didn’t like this as much as someone else may. I don’t know if this is categorized as a short story, but that’s basically what it is. Not the writing, but the super dramatic, cheesy, and sexual aspects and length of this book reminded me a lot of Alexa Riley’s style. If your someone who enjoys reading Alexa Riley’s works, be sure to give this a try too!!
It was ok but I didn’t gel well with the characters. The plot was dark in some ways but the instalove and tender dialogue the MMC would use threw me…it didn’t suit the plot.
POV: Dual, 1st person. SERIES or STANDALONE: 1st in series, can be read as a standalone. TROPES: M/F adult, SIZE: LOC1999 (last page) Kindle pages. CHARACTERS: Jax (late 20s/early 30s?) & Claire (21)
There’s not a book I’ve read by Cameron Hart, that I didn’t love. So, of course this series immediately pulled me in. Claire is trying to escape and while doing so literally runs into Jax. He immediately becomes her savior. Now Claire just has to decide if she can trust him and the club. All of the insta love feels with some suspense thrown in. Excited to read book two!
Saving Claire (Chaos MC #1) by Cameron Hart Review ♡ 4✨ 2🌶
I really enjoyed this book!! It is very lighthearted and a fun read. I loved how it was short but not too short and had such a good storyline. Claire and Jax were so perfect for each other and I just loved them together! I love an mc romance but sometimes you just crave a story that is on the shorter side but still amazing and this was definitely that!!
They were so cute and I loved how we got a glimpse into their future together aka having a family and getting married. I also loved how he was so sweet and protective with her but such an alpha male when with others. I loved how feisty she was but also such a kind and sweet person. I also loved the chemistry they had and the sexual tension. He just fell in love with her so quickly and could not get enough of her! I loved how she grew stronger in herself and grew as a person.
Everyone go check out Cameron Hart, she is an amazing author!! I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!! This is one of the many books of hers I have read and she definitely doesn’t disappoint!
It held my interest until Claire tuned into a careless, nasty bitch, ran away, then got herself captured by the guy Jax was trying to protect her from. Ungrateful heroines are a pet peeve.

Commentary: The book is somewhere in between a novella and a novel, but it is somewhat light on plot. The intimate scenes are very steamy, and that is actually what gave me a little pause. The heroine is supposed to be somewhat naive - she was taken into the cult when she was 16 and didn't have a boyfriend before that. She was isolated then abused in the cult. But in all of her interactions with the hero, she is fairly confident and even aggressive (that's not a bad thing, but it seems improbable in this case). It just doesn't match with what I would have expected, and so I spent a lot of time asking myself "would she even know what that means?" But it was enjoyable enough, and I've read other books by this author that I like, so this one won't ruin her for me.
The fluff made me tear up so much. This is one of the best of Cameron hart. I think I can highlight the whole book.
“NO ONE WILL LOVE ME!” I scream and thrash, half awake, half drowning in fear, stuck between realities. “Wake up, angel, wake up.” I feel warm hands on my shoulders, gently shaking me. “Please, baby, you’re scaring me. I fight to open my eyes. I know that voice. I feel myself being torn. Part of me follows the voice while another part lingers in The Mercy Room. “Nnn…no one… will love mmm…me…” I feel myself shaking, bracing for another blow. “Come back to me, Claire. It’s just you and me. You’re safe. You’re safe with me”
This scene made my cry harder. I love you jax. The no miscommunication trope just made the book so amazing. I regret not reading this before. Love it so much.
I freaking loved Mia. She's the best. They took care of her. Also I need jax in my life!!
I liked the book until I got to about 73% then it was a shit storm like 🤦🏻♀️
Claire changed completely the author wanted to make her seem like she was this fierce wildcat 70% into the book like wow there’s nothing wrong with her being strong it was just thrown in there unexpectedly I hated her Jax didn’t deserve her bs not River either regardless he apologized smh
And last but not least her friend Beth went through something so traumatic as she did and she leaves her in a clubhouse with strangers so she can go and fuck her man for a whole week???? Like really she should have at least made sure Beth was settled and ok BEFORE they headed to his house 🤦🏻♀️
Like I said this Heroine was not innit for me I loved Jax though regardless of the fact that I didn’t get a connection to any of the other side characters either
To each it’s own though maybe someone else would enjoy it
Happy reading my lovely bookworms and remember to always be nice to one another 😊🤗
Yes, this is instant love but how can this be considered a ln MC romance? Just because the mention of a club name? No way would any MC allow it's members to speak to the President that way or disappear for a week. There is no "brotherhood" just a tale about some guys and the female who comes running to them by accident.
Now, let's touch upon the character Claire. Supposedly she escapes from a cult but from the beating she received, how can she physically run? Then she spots a photo of her tormentor after busting into the "church room" of the MC. She flys off the handle and then runs away. Then of course she gets picked up by the tormentor and is dropped back into the cult.
I did not care for this book at all. The author makes the supposed MC seem more like a group of frat guys. Definitely not worth my time to read more of this series.
Saving Claire is book one in the Chaos MC series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I was hooked from start to finish. Saving Claire is the first book of Cameron Hart’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline entertaining. I liked that after everything she had been through, Claire had fight still in her. She bided her time until she could try her escape plan. After all she had been through in the cult, Claire still trusted an MC when they offered help. The chemistry between Jax and Claire was instant. I liked that Claire trusted Jax and I really liked them as a couple. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
4.5 stars! This was a fucking fantastic read! Claire is such a damn badass. So strong and fierce. And Jax is so loving and absolutely sweet. The two of them together is just completely perfect. I loved everything about this book. The writing was so good. The plot was engaging and fully developed. The sex. *sigh* The sex was so hot and filthy. The motorcycle scene?! Oh my god. Pure MC romance gold right there. The only reason this isn’t 5 stars for me is because, I’m a greedy bitch and I always want a sappy epilogue where they’re married with kids years later, still head over heels. Best believe I will be getting my hands on the rest of this series. So glad I found Cameron Hart’s books. I’m in love.
Who isn't a fan of love? I want to see a build up of feelings. When you get insta love it's like something is missing. They both are hooked and it doesn't seem realistic for Claire to have lead the life she did and come out without some kind of trauma. Repeatedly abused, closed off from the outside world, except to run to the store to get groceries. She doesn't seem to have suffered for what she has went through. Jax takes one look at her and he is a goner. Willing to do anything to keep her and make her his. Fairly short and sweet. For a MC there really wasn't much drama. At one point Jax makes a point to think, their club wasn't into killing. I have never read an MC book where death and destruction is part of the club.
It was okay, not bad but not that entertaining either. It started off well but I just read it to finish the book. Maybe I just wasn’t in the mood?
Claire was a strong spirit and I appreciated that she never gave up no matter the circumstances. Jax wasn’t bad either; a kind hearted protector that’s willing to kill to keep his people safe. Not a bad pairing but I just wasn’t too interested in them.
A lot felt over the top in terms of their feelings at times and I even cringed a few times. A few of the characters just didn’t feel like solid characters. I just didn’t connect to the people as much, I guess it’s because it’s series so you get to know them over the course of the books.
