I read this book twice! Once just as a straight read. The second time, in 22 days. Reading a chapter, highland making notes as I went. So good. So glad to finally have P31 study from a Messianic perspective.

Valor is a wonderful tool in the hands of anyone who reads it. One that should be revisited at least once a year to gain new perspectives. The author, Robin R. Luton not L. Grant Luton, has meticulously crafted a book that is obviously the result of years of research and experience. It is easily accessible, practically applicable, and generatively thought provoking. One may be tempted to think only women will benefit from reading Valor, and I don't deny the immense benefits from doing so, however, every believer will come away enlightened and motivated after experiencing this wisdom-packed volume.

Better than most material on Proverbs 31.

when this book was first suggested to me, my first reaction was, ew, no way do I want to read yet another book about the Proverbs 31 woman and all her perfections. But this was delightful, full of refreshing insights, and realistic without watering down the deep truths contained within the familiar passage. The author is humble and relatable but doesn’t spend too much time on her own story, focusing instead on the scriptures, which I appreciated. I will return to and reference this book often!!
Some grammatical/punctuation errors that are typical of self-published books were distracting to me but probably won’t bother non-editor types 😉 other than that, I would recommend this book to all women of faith, even if you don’t consider yourself “Messianic” (p.s. Messianic is the Hebrew word for Christian, that is, a follower of Christ/Messiah)
