My emotions went through the wringer with this one! Who doesn’t love a high tension, drama and action filled mafia romance?

Ace is definitely an alpha with a chip on his shoulder we all love. Or at least I do. His intensity, passion and even to an extent his ruthlessness is something to behold. It’s definitely a deep love the two characters have for each other and in some moments it gives me Romeo and Juliet vibes, if only they were mafia and without the suicide at the end.

I swear the twists about give me heart palpitations. And that one twist!!! Ripped my heart out. I cannot with this series. So much emotion, so much drama and so much tension. This book had me gripped at the edge of my seat. When you think you know what’s going to happen, a curve ball is thrown and it just amps up the suspense and anticipation even more.

I love the passion and intense deep love the characters have for each other is one of envy. Whether you want to agree or not, an all encompassing love is what we all want to experience at least once in our lives and this book, definitely gives us that.

I have loved this series so much. The plot development, character growth and the overall world build is incredible and one I have loved reading.

K.H. Kate did a good job on this story, Damaged had a strong plot that was packed with several emotions, the book was written well. Nothing about Ace and Raine's journey was easy, it was a rollercoaster, they went through many ups and downs but they were strong, fighters that were drawn to each other, their connection and chemistry was strong, they were good together.
This was a good story, I enjoyed it.

Damn my poor heart, I went though every single emotion with this book and I loved every single minute of it.

I couldnt put it down and right now I dont have to right words to do this book justice, its definitely a hang on tight book because im going to destroy your soul, but in the best way possible.

This book will stay with me for a while, the hangover is real with this one.

For those of you all Mafia romance lovers, this one is a must...I mean who doesn't like two damage souls wanting to reunite but the whole world even fate seems to defy them...well Ace and Raine will even fight with destiny to be with each other...

Its been 5 years since Ace was trapped and now he is back...but he wasn't expecting to see all the things changed so much...Rainy is gone...she is engaged to another man and this just doesn't sit well with Ace...

He has his kingdom to conquer again...snatched it from under his enemy's nose like they did before...but this time he has more to lose...his queen.
The love between Raine and Ace was to be envied upon...no matter how ruthless and cruel 💔 Ace gets...Raine always seems to bring him down on his knees.

A plot twist in the end...oh my gosh...that was the best part of my book in my opinion...
Over all , this was a book about pure love founded in the cruel, unforgiving World...yet they still find eachother amidst the chaos...

The Bratva now controls La Eme with Raine now princess to her father and brothers kingdom, it seems Ace is out just in time to see Raine engaged, more than once and but they all end up dead. When the chance to leave with Ace arises, Raine steps away, it seems Ace has more than just his kingdom to get back but also his Queen. Will they still be playing games, will they ever learn to trust one another or were they ever meant to?  A wel written mafia romance, with action  suspense, desire, romance and more!  an emotional roller coaster ride with  twists and turns that keep you guessing till the very end!

For two people to have 5 years without each other, one tortured in prison the other tortured by family. How will these two get to play the game and come out winning. Who has been a traitor and who has been loyal? These questions will be answered with a twist. Merging of families, loyalties questioned, and the heirarchy to crumble to only gain a true leader. Things will unfold and news brought to light but you need to read book 1 to understand this book. Everything will be revealed and some of the most ask WHY’s will be answered. So enjoy this read and get the answers you have been waiting for.

Dark, gritty and completely addictive read, Definitely kh kate's best work to date!!

This book takes you on so many twists and turns as revelations are uncovered, it keeps you on the edge of your seat needing to know what comes next , sooo many "wtf" moments and dear god at one point I was ready to scream
"did you seriously just do that"
But it all came together with a great ending

Another great read that definitely leaves me wanting more.

Well, if I thought the first book in this duo was outstanding, this one knocks it out of the ball park. What a fabulous ending. Ace is so rugged and out for revenge and is angry that he finds Raine is engaged. He needs to put some work in to get her back. Plenty of violence and trust issues abound but love the romance between them. This has been by far one of the most intense stories I have read in a long time. A superb mafia story.

WOW!!! Book two in this series is every bit as exciting as it's predecesor. I went from angry to awww in literally seconds.  This is an angsty book and delivers every single emotion imaginable in a very short time.  Ace Martinez, is the King of Le Eme and, Raine Orlov daughter of Bratva Pakhan  Stefan Orlov. Their story began  in Thorned and is so twisted and tragic, heartbreaking and gutwrenching, but beautiful all the same.  What a great, fitting addition to the journey of Ace and Raine.

Thrilling Story!!

This book, the second one in the series, was so much better than the first. It is filled with suspense, thrills, mystery, and romance.

Ace and Raine’s intense relationship is filled with angst, romance and violence. They take us readers on an emotional journey into their world of murder and mayhem as they try to navigate around it to possibly be together.

It’s an emotional rollercoaster ride that kept me fully engaged and highly entertained.

What an intense ride this was ! Book two of this mafia series ! But is it really over ?? It does end as if it is but there is still pieces left Dangling my heart was in my throat near the end and i was not believing what I was reading... that’s all I’m saying on that ! Action all the way though this didn’t want to put it down as there was so much surprises and things happening ... , a lot of lies, betrayal, love and did I surprises ??? So many it’s like what ?? Great 2nd book to read !!

A fabulous follow up to the previous book. The story is dark and the danger seemed palpable. I couldn’t read this book fast enough. It was intriguing and vastly entertaining. I can’t wait to read more.

This book, the second in the series, was phenomenal. The emotion that comes off each page is crazy good. Ace and Raine live in a world full of violence, lies, betrayal’s, and admit all this they still work on navigating the world of romance. If you like books about murder, romance and the Mexican mafia then I highly recommend this book. Thank you K. H. Kate for allowing me to receive this ARC. If you like to read books that will keep you on your toes, then you need to read this. So here we pick up a little further down the timeline from where book one ended. Raine has been trying to pick up the pieces since she found her brother and father. Well Ace is back and he has one thing on his mind. There is so much going on betrayal, action, and dare I say love! Seems as though Ace feels something for Raine but with all the secrecy and games going on. We see the difference in Raine, she seems a little stronger and knows more about the game. Can Ace heal her damaged heart? I can say that both are tested beyond belief and have been through a lot. Will they survive all the games going on? I can say that you will want to read it all just to see what will happen. I loved all the twisted madness Ace and Raine bring. I hope we get more from these two.
