Forever Phoebe

Rate this book
At the dignified age of eighteen, Phoebe Jamison knows she should behave in a manner befitting her station, as her three loving elder brothers often tease. Unfortunately, the lively young woman has a personality every bit as fiery as her red hair, a fact brought to her attention in the criticism from the gentleman she has long pined for. But not every man is of the opinion that a woman should be decorous above all else. The newest resident of Somerset, Mr. Franklin Everly, is considered a most eligible bachelor, and he is immediately drawn to Phoebe’s spirited nature as he becomes acquainted with the delightful Jamison siblings of Primly Park.

Franklin embarks on a friendship with Phoebe that quickly deepens into a warm and thrilling connection. But even as he fights for Phoebe’s attentions, a very real danger is revealed: girls in neighboring villages have gone missing, and the kidnapper is moving ever closer to Primly Park. Despite the guard of her fiercely protective brothers and Franklin, Phoebe must rely on her own strength when she finds herself in the sights of the Bride Snatcher.

Another enjoyable Regency read that had me pulled in. There's a bit of mystery, some fun friends, some acquaintances that I wanted to slap, fabulous family relationships, and a sweet love story. I loved the way these characters were described and shown to be happy being who they were and not bent on society making them hide away who they really are. I like to think and hope that with all the rules put upon people by society and the ton that they still found a way to be true to themselves and not hide that away completely. But then again, I didn't live in that time period and wasn't raised with the same expectations as people were then. So I can't portray my thoughts and raising up as what theirs would be. But I still hope that, just like Phoebe in this book, real people in the Regency Era (and other time periods) were able to find ways to be themselves and find joy in that.

Ok, that little rant over. In all honesty though, I thoroughly enjoyed Phoebe and Franklin and the dynamics of their relationship. It was a gentle story and building of friendship and love. Besides their relationship, my next favorite part of this book was Phoebe's brothers. I loved them! They were just so much fun. I loved their banter, their fierce protectiveness, their friendship, their kindness to others, their own love stories (well one of them), their "bets," and especially their humor. Oh they had me laughing several times. I loved how they saw what was going on around them, or they were trying to brush off some of their actions as friendship. You'll have to read to understand. I just adored them and have to ask, Chalon Linton, are you going to be writing more stories with their brothers as the leading characters? I would absolutely love to read those books!

There's some mystery as to girls being kidnapped and why and who is behind it. The author wrapped it up nicely, I have a couple questions about it but don't want to spoil the book for anyone so I'll just keep them to myself and let you read the book. This is a fabulous story about friendship and being true to yourself, your friends and your family. The sweet love story was a great addition to it!

Content: Clean. Some mild suspense in regards to the kidnapper. A mild moment of peril. As far as romance content, just a couple kisses and nothing more.

I received a copy from the publisher, Covenant Communications, via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!

Phoebe Jamison may only be 18 years old, but she knows what she wants, and it isn't sitting around with other women discussing boring topics. She and her lovely red hair, immediately catch the eye of Franklin Everly, who is new in the area. He forms a friendship with Phoebe and her brothers, Geoffrey, Abraham, and Peter, but Franklin must contend with Mr. Mason for Phoebe's affection.

I loved Phoebe and her brothers. They were fun, not at all snooty and staid like most of those in the Ton seem to be. Proper when at a ball but when at home at Primly Park they had horse races where the loser had to muck out the stall of the winner. Yuck! Phoebe is bit headstrong and knows what she wants, and that's something I love in a heroine. I can only imagine how hard, tiring and exhausting it must've been to remember all the dos and don'ts "proper" young women had to adhere to back then.

What's there not to love about Franklin? He's tall, handsome, and not afraid of women who speak their mind, which is a definite plus. Whereas, Mr. Mason was always correcting Phoebe in the ways of "proper young ladies", Franklin liked Phoebe for who she was.

From the beginning, I didn't understand what Phoebe saw in William Mason, except for the fact that he was handsome. It seems her childhood crush on one of her brother's friends lasted a little too long. I hoped that the more time she spent around Franklin, the more she would realize that Mr. Mason was not the man for her, and I breathed a hugh sigh of relief when that finally happened. If a man cannot pay you a compliment that's a big red flag and Phoebe, being a smart young woman, recognized that.

There's a mysterious thread running through the book about young girls being kidnapped and that is solved before the end of the book--no spoilers here. I would love to read a story about Phoebe's fun brothers Peter and Abraham. I also have a favorite new word: buffle-headed. 💙

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher, Covenant Communications. All thoughts expressed in my review are my own.

I adore Phoebe and her brothers! Their good-natured ribbing and loyalty to each other made this a fun book to read.

Phoebe is a strong-willed young woman. (A trait that was not popular at the time.) She has a sense of worth about herself and is comfortable being in her own skin. She loves her family and takes an interest in her friends' happiness. Overall, she is the kind of woman that I would want to be around.

Franklin Everly is new to the area and is immediately attracted to Phoebe. He is not afraid of a strong-willed woman and greatly admires her.

The characters were fantastic. I loved the banter, conversation, and integrity they possessed. The book is mainly a romance but there is an element of mystery/suspense. Someone is kidnapping girls from the area. There is an effort to stop him before anyone else disappears.

This book kept my interest!

Oh I thought this was good! I loved the brothers and the horse races. This was definitely a feel good read that had the regency charm I love to see. Phoebe was a strong heroine with a sweet and fierce loyalty to those she loves. And I couldn’t get enough of Franklin. He was handsome and everything I love to see in an honorable man. I enjoyed the writing and all of the side characters. I will definitely recommend this one.

I'm so glad the character on this cover looks like the character described in the book. That fiery red hair deserves to be represented!

Franklin is the perfect representation of wooing. He is so sweet and so attentive. Honestly, I adored him. He tries so hard to win Phoebe's attention. Can I just mention "the song" here? Franklin sings Phoebe a song and oh! It melted my heart. Hers too. 😉 Franklin sees and loves Phoebe for who she is. He is intentional and purposeful. Sigh. So adorable.

Phoebe is a fun character. Her brothers really add to the story as well making this story a collection of winsome characters. They were all so easy to like. I appreciated the bit of added mystery with the snatcher and how that played out. It was a much needed bonus element that livened things up at just the right time.

I really enjoyed this one!

Content: mild peril, kissing

Pure enjoyment from first page to last! I think I smiled through the entire book and there is so much to love about it! I enjoyed Phoebe's relationship with her brothers and the easy camaraderie that existed between them all. I loved Phoebe's personality - the author managed to write a headstrong, independent heroine without also making her immature at the same time. The romance was slow burn and very sweet and I truly could not put this book down! While I had to suspend reality little bit to believe the suspenseful elements, it really didn't detract from my enjoyment of the book at all.

This is my new favorite regency from this author and I am hoping that some day we will get stories for the Jamison brothers!

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher but a positive review was not required.

Forever Phoebe is another wonderful Regency Romance by Author Chalon Linton. As I've said in previous reviews of her novels, she truly knows how to write memorable characters. She brings them to life in such a way, that readers become immersed quickly into the story. Can I tell you how much I love the main character Phoebe? She is darling and her fiery red hair shows her true personality. She has three handsome, protective brothers but this doesn't stop her from being bold and doing what she wants, Speaking of the brothers, I hope we will see more of them in upcoming books. They each had distinct personalities that would make great main characters in their own books.

Franklin Everly is a perfect hero. He saves the day in many instances, but I loved how he showed such respect and admiration for Phoebe. He never looked down on her for doing the things she loved, like other men around her such as Mr. Mason. It was fun to read another book with an Everly family member after having read, Escape to Everly Manor. The connection between Phoebe and Franklin built slow and steady feeling like a real life connection.

This novel also had a mystery in the background that plays a huge part at the end of the story. It would have been interesting to explore more into the aspects of this mystery.

Forever Phoebe is right there among my favorite Chalon Linton books. This clean Regency Romance is filled with humor, some mystery, and a fun filled romance. Make sure to put this novel on your to-read list of romances.

Forever Phoebe started out slow for me but it was Phoebe's quick wit and stubbornness, plus her brothers were very entertaining that kept me reading. The only thing I didn't like is they didn't tell us who the bride snatcher was...

Forever Phoebe has a fiery red head, a handsome new neighbor and the theme that love and romance might not be what we expect, but in fact can be much much sweeter.

Phoebe is the only sister of 3 brothers. Honestly the banter between the brothers was one of my favorite parts of this book. I always wished I had old brothers and they were every bit the protective yet humorous bunch that you’d expect them to be. I do hope Peter gets his own book! It would be amazing.

Phoebe is very much a tom boy but still has a soft feminine side which I enjoyed. Her will and stubbornness endears her to Franklin, who is new to the area. But it will also be her downfall when it comes to realizing what is truly best for her and her safety. And when word spills that a kidnapper is on the loose...everyone prays that they won’t become the next victim.

This was such a sweet story, I really enjoyed myself while reading it as I have with Lintons other books. Franklin is so sweet and every inch the gentleman we adore in these types of stories.

I do wish that we got more intimate moments/conversation between Franklin and Phoebe that weren’t so short lived. I also wanted an epilogue to close out the bride snatcher case. (This was an arcs so maybe something was added)

Nevertheless I do recommend this for fellow regency fans and was very entertained!

Thank you Covenant Publishing and Chalon Linton for the advanced reading copy!

Regency + Suspense? Yes please! Along with multiple heroes to swoon over! Because Phoebe has brothers! The kind known for witty banter and good-natured jibes who can go all deadly serious at the drop of a hat when it comes to protecting their sister. One of them enjoys a romance in this novel, though it's on the periphery. I'm hoping the other brothers get their own full length stories!

Phoebe is our beguiling (and sometimes infuriating) ingenue. She's very young, still full of girlish dreams about what romance is -- so wrapped up in them, as a matter of fact, that she nearly misses the real thing when it crosses her path.

And believe me, Franklin is very much the kind of hero I love to swoon over. If you're read Escape to Everly Manor, you'll be familiar with his charm and wit, though he has a serious side that's endearing as well. He falls hard for Phoebe and I love his gentle, patient pursuit of her as much as I disliked her dunderheadedness over all things romantical. :-) But that made for a good story. As did the spice of suspense.

I listened to the audible edition narrated by Luone Ingram which enhanced my enjoyment of the story all the more.

Phoebe is one of my favorite characters hands down! She is fiery, spunky, and full of spirit. Her love and loyalty to her friend and brothers was amazing. I loved how her brothers were super protective of her yet they considered her feelings on things. They were the big brothers every girl would want. Franklin was such a sweet and genuine character, I loved how he fell for Phoebe. Linton has written a marvelous story that any regency romance fan will enjoy! I really enjoyed this book by Chalon Linton! I loved her characters especially Phoebe and her brothers. I loved how Phoebe is such a spitfire and had so much spunk. I loved how her and her brothers got along. The teasing was so much fun but you knew they loved each other a lot. I also liked that we got to see some characters from “Escape to Everly Manor” and I loved that this book had a bit of a mystery to it. I also adored the romance between Franklin and Phoebe. I loved how he showed her what really love was by being sincere and loving her for who she is. Such a good book! I would love to hear Phoebe’s brothers stories if Chalon writes more books in this series.

Chalon Linton is quickly becoming a go-to author for me. She writes with such warmth and wit and affection between her characters that I just want to curl up inside the pages and stay a while. This is only my second read by her (my first was her contemporary romance Flying in Love) but I definitely want to catch up on her backlist & I’m looking forward to her future releases too!

While not officially part of a series, Forever Phoebe is connected to Linton’s 2019 novel, Escape to Everly Manor. I haven’t read that one yet (but now I want to) and wasn’t lost at all; I was just aware that there is a little more backstory to Franklin’s family than we’re getting in this novel.

Speaking of… Franklin Everly = SWOON. He’s dashing and considerate, with a big heart and an easy grin. And he winks, be still my heart. Best of all, once he falls for Phoebe he falls completely, and I just adore reading about a man that is so gone over the woman he loves. Phoebe is a delightful heroine and, though she might be stubborn (as most good Regency heroines are haha) and have abysmal cooking skills, she is also smart, witty, kind & loving. I thoroughly enjoyed watching these two fall in love even if I did want to shake the cluelessness out of Phoebe a time or two.

And let’s not forget Phoebe’s brothers who were nearly my favorite part of the book. I mean, they can’t quite top the romance factor for me but they came very close to doing so. Their banter was hilarious, and I loved how protective they were over Phoebe while also letting her be herself. They genuinely care for her – and for each other – but still maintained their ‘guy-ness’ throughout. While we do get a bonus romance involving one of Phoebe’s brothers I would LOVE to watch the other two meet their respective ‘one’ and fall in love too. (hint, hint for future books lol)

Bottom Line: Forever Phoebe is a delightful Regency romance with a little bit of everything to add to its appeal. Romance, suspense, humor, friendship, and Love saving the day (though not exactly the way you might think) all combine with the author’s warm writing voice to make this a story that engages and entertains you. I think I pretty much grinned through the whole thing, and I’m eager to read more from this author!

Romance, clean, period; series, but stand alone read
Phoebe and Franklin's story was a genuine, sweet, reflective, and fun story. There is a bit of drama in one of the back stories, but I loved the family setting, where they were more 'relaxed' than in society. This felt like a story of neighbors and friends.
Franklin's home, the restoration, finding staff, and his family backstory made for a great character, and nice setting for parts of the novel. His introspection about what happened in the first book of the series, along with his current situation, made for a natural, genuine character and perfect for his highlight in this novel. Loved his love for his horse, and his partnership with his animal, and the fun part that the racing played. Franklin and Phoebe were nice foils for each other. Franklin who sees Phoebe's genuine, fresh, lighthearted personality that she displays when in her families company, and with her friends appeals to his sensibilities and his heart.
Phoebe's young heart, trying to find her way in her local society, and figure out if her past romantic notions are 'real', disappointed in the other interest she has, is pleasantly surprised and genuinely admiring of Franklin as he joins their family on occasion, seeks help and advice, and they naturally see each other. Strong side characters, and beautiful settings, genuine, honest main characters, and a beautiful attraction for each other made for a lovely read. I found the other side back story of the kidnappings a bit over the top, but the rest of the story was so sweet, and genuine, it didn't matter. A nice addition to this series, and my favorite of the two of them. Lovely read.

In Chalon Linton’s Forever Phoebe, Phoebe Jamison is described as peppery and I loved that description. Chalon’s descriptions of people and settings was detailed and unique. I was impressed with her writing technique and descriptions.
Phoebe is written as fiery, but I felt it was her relationships to others that made her strong. Chalon wrote fantastic character banter and engaging relationship dynamics between both her bothers and Hannah. I loved how she wrote the family relationships and their open communication.
There was so much that I enjoyed about this book, I must admit however that her attachment to Mr. Mason pulled me out of the story a time or two. It felt shallow and lacking depth, so the fact that it continued to pull her way from Franklin to whom she admits to feeling attracted and having a more deep connection to was harder for me to imagine. I almost enjoyed the relationship between the oldest Jamison brother and Hannah more than Phoebe’s for this reason.
The pacing of the book was well done and I loved the tension of the final scenes. They really portrayed the strength Phoebe had in her relationships with both Hannah and her brothers. These moments really made the book beautiful.

*sigh*

What a delightful story! This may be my very favorite Regency from Chalon Linton.

The dynamics of the Jamison siblings was fun and humorous. The neighboring friends added the extra conflicts as the story progressed just nicely.

Everything from the country setting, Everly’s restoration of the estate - to the subplot that has everyone in the County on edge, kept the pages turning. I couldn’t put this one down.

Perfection!

In the beginning Phoebe Jamison reminded me a little of Scarlett O’Hare (in Gone with the Wind) in how she pinned after Ashley, no matter who was trying to charm her. Scarlett could not get Ashley out of her mind.

Phoebe could not get William Mason out of her mind. He was close friends with her brothers. The story opens in Somerset, England, May 1814. Miss Jamison is at a dance. She is upset. “Phoebe huffed and folded her arms. Would William Mason every see her as more than the younger sister of her brother Peter? …while she’d danced with William at several dinners and the annual ball in the Assembly Rooms, he’d spent the entirety of this particular dance chastising her for allowing Mr. Baldwin to hold her too closely during the previous set.” No romance there.

Phoebe was a feisty one. She had to be. She was the youngest in her family of four brothers. Unlike Scarlott O’Hare who does not realize true love until she’s lost it. Phoebe starts to look at things differently after an incident that has her head spinning in more ways than one. Phoebe takes a good hard look at what love is all about. It is turns out not to be what she expected.

I also liked how the author weaves in a mystery of bandits who steal women and sell them into the plot. I enjoyed hanging out with this fun cast of characters, I was entertained by head strong yet compassionate Phoebe, her fun brothers, and Mr. Franklin Everly as he seeks to restore his family home to its original beauty. This was fun to read curled up by the fire. It is a delight escape.

Another ARC Review coming at y’all tonight! Let me just say, first off, that this book surprised me in many, many ways. Unexpectedly might I add. You see, I don’t usually like reviewing regency romance books because historical romance, especially from the regency era has never been appealing or my favorite. But, with that said, I was surprised by how much I loved this particular one. From the cover art, to the delicate floral details on each page, to the very well laid out plot line that became so engaging, I couldn’t put it down. There were so many things to live about it. I have to say, I think this is a first for me, and I will definitely be adding it to my collection in paperback form once it is made available. Which speaks volumes for my liking of it, by the way. Because anyone knows that I don’t taking to buying a hard copy and adding it to my personal library lightly. This I think deserves a solid 5/5 stars on the Goodreads scale and for good reason. I was pleased and look forward to reading more from this particular author. And until next time, happy reading. -Caroline

'Forever, Phoebe' is a darling story filled with a cast of men that could make any girl swoon. From the Jamison brothers to Mr. Everly, each of the characters is charming, entertaining, and thoroughly enjoyable. The Jamison siblings might be my new favorite set of siblings in the world of regency fiction. They deeply care about each other but have a genuine sibling bond where they can tease and pick on each other but still be the ultimate defender of their sibling should the occasion arise.

Although the story slides from strict regency era rules and consequences, it doesn't affect the story's overall theme: sometimes, what we think we want is completely different from what we really want and need. You won't want to miss Chalon Linton's latest novel because of the character's quick wit, enjoyable interactions, and sweet plot.

Phoebe Jamison's personality reflects as brightly as her red hair. And Mr. Franklin Everly takes immediate notice of that after he arrives in Somerset to take over the property he has inherited. Phoebe enjoys Mr. Everly's company but she has other things on her mind. There's a kidnapper in the area stealing young ladies. In addition, the oldest of Phoebe's three brothers is showing more interest than he should in Phoebe's best friend, Hannah. Phoebe's crush on her brothers' friend, Mr. Mason prevents Phoebe from recognizing Mr. Everly's interest until he expresses a desire to court her. Phoebe finds herself caught between her old feelings for Mr. Mason and her growing affection for Mr. Everly. Just as she's figuring out her feelings, she comes face to face with the Bride Snatcher.

Linton's characters shine through the story in a delightful way. I especially enjoyed Phoebe's and Franklin's interactions. Her spirit and boldness balance nicely with his good humor and kindness. Phoebe's brothers also made for enjoyable reading with affection and sibling rivalry a plenty. And the loyalty between Phoebe and her best friend ends up saving them both. With plenty of action and enjoyable interactions between the characters, the book makes for a page-turning read. In addition to the romantic tension, the background suspense related to the kidnapper carries through the story until all the plot lines come to the climax, leading to a bit of a surprise ending. Linton has created a winner of a book with fun characters, an interesting plot, and a great setting.

I was so enchanted with Phoebe from the first moments we meet her. She is a heroine as firey as her bright red hair! Franklin left me smitten as well. I just love that he doesn't try to fix all of her problems, he only listens to her. He knows she is strong and isn't self conscious because of it. He also isn't to prideful to accept help from her. My favorite scene was when he saved her from her runaway horse. I audibly gasped and thrust a hand to my heart, trying to hold back tears, when the brothers discovered he was injured. My heart beat was so fast I thought I would burst! So well done!

My only qualm was will the villain, the mysterious Bride Snatcher. Mysterious is certainly the right word, I still don't know anything about him. I was hoping that perhaps Mr. Mason would end up being identity of the kidnapper. I was disappointed to find the BS was simply a one dimensional, cartoonish, mustache twirling evil doer, whose only purpose in the story is to be such. I am one who particularly enjoys villains who express sensibilities of a human. People do bad things for a reason. I do not know the Bride Snatcher's motivations, therefore I do not even connect him to the rest of the story. All of the other characters were well developed with understandable personalities. I wish we had spent more time with him, and with that whole plot in general.
Other than that, I relished every minute of my experience reading! Well done Ms. Linton!

This book was such a fun story with some of the most delightful characters I've read in a Regency romance. I mean I REALLY loved the characters; they each had such entertaining and unique personalities; I couldn't help but wish they were my real-life friends. The constant banter and wit between them all kept a smile on my face the whole time I was reading.
Phoebe was this super sassy heroine who, as the little sister with three very protective older brothers, had no qualms holding her own. I loved her strong personality and that it came while also highlighting things that made her very feminine; she could shoot as well as her brothers but enjoyed getting dressed up and managing a household. The Jamison brothers were pure entertainment and honestly, I just wanted to adopt them all. I really hope we get to see more of their stories! Now to chat about Franklin Everly, talk about swoon. There is a hero that is all things kind, considerate, and daring. The way his relationship developed with Phoebe and the Jamison family felt natural and exciting. I loved how attentive he was to Phoebe, super cute!
This book had some fun elements I wasn't expecting, an adorable romance, and FABULOUS characters. I definitely recommend it and really do hope we see more of those Jamison boys.

I’m a big fan of author Chalon Linton’s writing. I love the way she writes her characters. And her plots are always great too. Most of her plots have a danger element in them. And that makes them so intriguing.

I love the way Phoebe is. Her personality matches her red hair color perfectly. Especially when dealing with her brothers. Phoebe’s brothers are watching over her, because her parents have gone on a trip. And that leaves Phoebe a little more stifled than usual. She’s also a little more stifled than usual because of the Bride Snatcher. 4 girls have already been snatched at the beginning of this book, and that makes all of the eligible young ladies more nervous. And more watched over.

Franklin is one of those heroes. The kind that you know would do anything for the young lady that he favors. And he really does a lot for Phoebe. I love the easy relationship these two share. They have their own private jokes. And they really just work as a couple.

I loved the plot of this one. There is plenty of danger and mystery. It kept me entertained from the start. I’m really hoping Phoebe’s friend Hannah gets her own story and soon. I want to know what happened to her.

I was sent a copy of Forever, Phoebe as a gift from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

#BookReview : FOREVER PHOEBE by Chalon Linton 4.5 stars

"She found no particular fault with Mr. Everly; he simply was not William Mason."

I have really enjoyed Phoebe Jamison’s easy relationship with her brothers. The banters and teasing are fun and refreshing. I always wished to have older brothers. To be my protector and playmate and got that and more. It is easy for Phoebe to converse with men because she has three herself and has seen and assisted them in all sorts of situations. I like Franklin Everly from the start. He is a keeper. I keep on hoping Phoebe will see his kindness and sincere personality. But her heart has always pined for Mr. Mason. The race is fun but “the” incident is unexpected. I enjoyed the musical at Ravencrest so much. I think the kidnapping is unnecessary but it spiced things up. It also highlights Phoebe’s big heart as well as her stubbornness. I highly recommend this book for those who find regency romance pleasurable.

Phoebe is such a fun heroine with her feisty personality and bright red hair! I love her protective brothers and the close family relationships that they have. Here’s to hoping we get more stories for each of those brothers! Franklin is fun and I loved him so much in this book. I love that his personality also jumps off the page, but in his own subtle ways. Chalon Linton is fantastic at character development and I feel like a close friend to all of the characters! While some of the suspense in this book was a little unbelievable it was 100% enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish and will reread anything else by this author!

This is book 2 in the Everly series and it has been a while since I read book 1, Escape to Everly Manor, but these books would be most enjoyed read in order! I received a complimentary copy of this book from Covenant Communications. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Forever Phoebe is my first Chalon Linton book. I really enjoyed this fun romance. Franklin is a perfectly wonderful, charming, and brave match for Phoebe who is quite the adventurer. I really enjoyed how their relationship grew. The banter between Phoebe’s brothers was actually my favorite part of this story, though. It was spot on! The mystery aspect of the story was just enough to add interest without taking away from the fun banter and romance! If you’re in the mood for a fun light read, this is the story for you!

A sweet Regency from Chalon Linton! Forever Phoebe is romantic and entertaining, though it wasn’t really my cup of tea. The story moved quite slowly for awhile, and the kidnapping mystery plot wasn’t realistic at all. I did like the characters and the fun, loving relationship between the siblings. 2.5/5 stars
