Freshly mated Omega Cyra and her four Alphas are being hunted, by Cyra’s parents, the media and the police... At the yearly Night Gala, an exclusive event for rich shifters, four Alphas catch Cyra’s Omega scent and react to her instinctively, recognising her as their mate. They don’t know what to make of it at first, but as the party is not a place to talk privately, especially not with so much paparazzi around, they decide to sneak off and find a better place to figure out what’s happening.Cyra, a rare Omega phoenix, has been hiding herself from the shifter world for years because she wants to live her own life and not be constantly controlled by an Alpha. As soon as an Alpha mates an Omega, the Omega becomes that Alpha’s property and Cyra refuses to live like that. More importantly, when an Alpha reacts to an Omega’s scent in an instinctive way, it means that they’re fated mates and belong together.Or, well, that’s how it works normally, when you’re not a rare shifter type and your parents aren’t crazy rich... According to the law, there’s one thing more important than an Alpha marking their fated Omega and that is if the Omega is already promised to a different Alpha by the Omega’s parents. Marking and mating a promised Omega is illegal and punished harshly. After Cyra and her four Alphas, hydra Zack, griffin Spence, cerberus Max and centaur Liam, have been spotted sneaking away from the Night Gala, their pictures are plastered all over the shifter gossip media. And, out of nowhere, Cyra’s parents show up, claiming that Cyra has been missing for years and that the four Alphas have kidnapped her. Even worse, Cyra’s parents claim that they had already chosen an Alpha for Cyra, that she has been promised to someone for years, even if Cyra didn’t know about it.Of course, Cyra and her four Alphas only find out about the promised Alpha after Cyra has gone into heat and the four have already mated her, marked her as theirs. They never kidnapped Cyra, no matter what Cyra’s parents are claiming in the media, but they are now breaking a much more serious law, the law of illegally mating a promised Omega. If they’re found out, they could end up in jail, or worse, dead, leaving Cyra vulnerable to whatever insidious plans her parents have for her and the four Alphas can’t let that happen.Which is why Cyra and her fated Alphas are now on the run from Cyra’s parents, the drama hungry media, who are exploiting this situation to the fullest, and the police... This is the second book in the Her Shifter Harem’s Babies series, a paranormal Omegaverse reverse harem #WhyChoose story. This book may include any of these steamy scenes, ‘I need tissues NOW’ moments, cries of ‘why, oh, why’ and cliffhangers that make you bite your nails (and curse the author). This story includes MF and MM scenes.
Layla Heart loves sexy romances and has a particular soft spot for broken boys and their damaged girls. When she’s not reading or writing steamy stories, she loves to nap with her two cats, preferably under a fluffy blanket, and play videogames. She has studied literature and creative writing but often finds that the couple of classes she took on coding are much more of a help in this new adventure as an author.
My favorite thing about the book are Cyra's four Alphas. There is a Centaur, a Cerberus, a Griffin and a Hydra. I think those are the coolest shifters. Cyra is the Phoenix and no one else knows what she is other than her parents. She is a rare breed and one that many will kill to claim. Her fated mates are trying desperately to keep her safe from being forced to mate another alpha and growing their family. All kinds of things are going on in this book. This book did not capture my interest as well as the first book. There was WAY TOO MUCH repetitive Angst and heartbreak for my tastes. But... it did tell the story and it does end on a cliffhanger. For those who love books with a lot of emotion, then this book is for you.

I really wanted to like this book as much as I liked the first but it felt like pretty much non-action until about 85% of the way through. It was way too much angst for my personal tastes, I think others may enjoy it more. I just feel as though I read a whole book but didn’t end up much further from where the first book ended. I was hoping for much more headway into the issues they are facing. I will definitely still look for the 3rd book when it comes out.
There were also a number of errors that had not been caught. She makes a statement at the beginning that the book is not traditional us or uk English ok fine. But it was things like jets being “yets” more than once. Or extend instead of extent. Just distractions while reading that cannot be attributed to a “unique writing style”.
I can't help but feel like this is dragging. Two books and if feels like absolutely nothing has really happened. That's not even including the repetitive sentences through the whole book. I don't know if it is just to make the book longer or what but it gets pretty old reading the same sentence written different ways over and over again. I'm really hoping the next book picks up a bit because while there r flaws to this series, it still has merit. The story is ok and I really enjoy shifter books. The pregnancy aspect is another huge bonus because there are so few books that have the pregnancy and baby without it being in the epilogue. The guys in this seem interesting enough but I'm not a huge fan of the fmc at this point. Ill still be continuing the series because I'm curious to see what happens next, especially with the cliffhanger at the end of the last one.
I absolutely loved the first in this series and I love this one even more. In this one our fmc and her mates are still being hunted down by her parents, the law, and her "promised mate" her parents chose for her. She refuses to just sit back and wait for all her mates to be arrested and keeps trying to convince them to let her help but they won't hear any of it. The ups and downs in this book gave me whiplash. One second they are all together and the next their group is in tatters and trying to get back together. The plot has absolutely sucked me in and I am already obsessing over when the next one will be released. Also, That cliffhanger was a doozy....you've been warned.
I don’t like harem stories very much but I started reading this one because the premise sounded interesting. I enjoyed the first book quite a bit but I didn’t enjoy this one as much. I don’t think that it’s the writing so much as the story as in this book they are on the run and continually worrying about what will happen for all of it. The next book is not going to be out for a while and I want to know what happens. I think I will enjoy the next book more. If you like reverse harem books this is an interesting one.

This book keeps you spellbound. Cyra and her mates are trying to figure out how to prove her parents are lying about everything. Max, Spence, Liam, and Zack are so caring toward Cyra. They try to tell everyone that Cyra's parents and the Alpha is not telling the truth and it backfires. A lot of drama, tension, suspense, sadness, and happy moments throughout. Look forward to read the rest of the series when they become available.

While I enjoyed Layla Heart writing style and loved book 1, Hunted gave me a feeling of a filler book. The story barely had some advance and little steamy scenes. Too much and at the same time too little planning from the characters. I missed more development in the story. I felt that more could have happened. I'm not giving up in the series, because, like I said, I enjoy Layla's style. But this one was a lukewarm book.

I loved the first book and you must read that before you read this one. Cyra her parents male it difficult to hide and she and her mates think of a plan to keep her safe and out of the nets of her parents. She thinks a reporter on their side of the story will help. Her parents are fighting to get her back since they had their own mate for her. Can she stay safe or will their plan fall into pieces.
Wow this is an amazing sequel! The action, drama, love, romance in this book with Cyra and her four mates is fantastic. The action goes so fast and they go through so so much in this book her mates are still being hunted down by her parents, the law, and her "contracted mate". This story will give you a rush as you become engrossed in this series and hate I have to wait to continue this journey, the cliffhanger is stunning.
This is one amazing sequel! The action, drama, love, and romance, is outstandingin this book. Cyra and her four mates go through so so much in this book that it puts the first one to shame! I really enjoys this one! Layla really brought the story to life! I really can't wait for the next book!

A great addition to this series. I could not put it down. I can't wait to see what happens next for Cyra and her men. That ending definitely leaves you wanting more but without it being a cliffhanger. I can't wait for three in this amazing series.
I really enjoyed reading this book and the first one, the characters were great and I really thought it was a unique premise. I look forward to more from the author and this series.

This is a great continuation of Cyra's story. Thing are getting intense for Cyra and her mates. There is a rollercoaster of emotions, drama, tension and great interactions between Cyra and her mates.
So suspenseful and Intense, really hard to put down. Now I'm desperate for book 3, but I have to wait til April. Wonderful characters and storyline. The plot thickens even more with each book.

This was like the ending of book one just repeated again and again for 300pages, before something different finally happened…….. just the same legal troubles and worries and no solution really in sight..
2.5⭐ The first one was much more interesting, this one talks about the same thing the HOLE BOOK. I feel very bored during some parts and i finished feeling a little bit of rage about the girl main character because I start to not put Up with her.
This is fantastic I am loving the journey it does end on a cliff hanger as there is more to come I loved it so well written had me on the edge of my seat!!!
Love, Love, Love this series! “Hunted” continues the storyline that began in “Claimed”. In this installment Cyra, Zack, Spence, Max, and Liam are still being hunted by Cyra’s parents and the alpha who has paid her parents for her. The storyline’s action, drama, suspense, betrayal, and lies become more intense as the mates try to free Cyra from her parent's control. This amazing tale will give you an adrenaline rush as you become engrossed in this tale. I love this series and hate I have to wait to continue this journey! I received a free copy of this book for an honest review.
