Layton Peyton was the oldest and the free-spirited sister. She was the one who loved a bad boy. She held her man, Malik aka Moneyman down for three years and now he was coming home. Lea Peyton was the middle sister and the one who was all about her business, but with some drama on the side. She had a son by a man she shouldn’t have. He wasn’t exactly single. Matter of fact, he was married. Lace Peyton was the baby sister and the only one who attended college. The virgin who had a promising career ahead of her, and she planned on not letting anything getting in the way of that.. She was also the one hiding her boyfriend from her family because he wasn't the same race as she was. All three lived different lives. Read about the good and the bad of the Peyton sisters.
This book was so good from beginning to end and what a ending. So loving the Peyton sisters. Their sisterhood and bond is unbreakable and their loyalty to each other. Their men are something else... I sure hope Malik isn't doing Layton wrong. Da'Shon went after his woman and Garrick; hopefully, has patience with Lace. After that ending, I can't wait to see what happens next. Great job LaKisha Nicole.
I like the Peyton sisters. Layton and Malik definitely have passion for each other. I don’t know if she is just insecure or if he is up to no good but I am leaning towards the latter. Lace and Lea are the more laid back sisters. Lace and Garrick are so young and seem to just really be getting started. Race issues aside they just may make it. Lea’s situation resonated with me the most. I felt sorry for her having to deal with the fact she had a baby by a married man. It didn’t seem like she knew he was married. Now Dashon is in the mix. Can’t wait to see what’s next for these ladies.
The best thing about this story was the sisters' bond and loyalty. They each made bad decisions in their relationships but time will tell if they make lemonade. While happy for her, I didn't feel that Lea's 'come up' was realistic in the way it happened. Maybe it'll encourage Layton to make a life for herself instead of depending on Malik. I'm anxious to see what becomes of these sisters and the cliffhanger itself is enough to make me finish the series.
I thought a book about 3 Sisters was going to be boring this book was nothing of the sort it was very good I read it in one day could not put it down can't wait for the next installment
I really enjoyed Book 1! I love to see/hear about sisters that have tight bonds! It’s amazing that they all ended up pregnant at the same time. I hope They all end up with a happy ending!
