Daniel James is a powerful politician. Until she was 17, Elena James was proud of him and his accomplishments, until she found out the truth about him. Now Elena James knows her dad is a very corrupt and bad man, but she doesn’t know what to do about it and who she can trust to talk about it.
When Elena’s bodyguard, Vasquez, disappears, Wade Clayburn comes in to replace him. Wade’s primary purpose is to get the evidence his friend Vasquez had gathered on Elena’s dad. Vasquez hadn’t had time to retrieve it before they shot him. Wade is determined to bring down Daniel James no matter what, but he has had this strong pull and attraction to Elena, Daniel’s daughter. The more he gets to know her, the more he believes she was not aware of Vasquez’ death and is not like her corrupt father as he first believed. Can Wade get the evidence he needs on Daniel? Will Elena hate him if he does ruin her father, or will she help him find the proof?

Elena did not know why Vasquez had left without saying goodbye. A little later, a new bodyguard named Wade was appointed. He was secretly Vasquez adopted brother and was there to further the fact gathering. The characters are strong and determined and they even find a few friends along the way. Suspense of whether dad would kill her, knowing what she knows now. Help is there, but who to trust. Very good story that moves so fast and has so much action to it, you will not be able to put it down.

Fast paced short Insta- love story with instant chemistry and attraction between Wade and Elena. They meet when he replaced her bodyguard Vasquez, who had just left. Elena knows her father is a corrupt and evil politician, she just does not know what to do about it. When Wade enters the picture and tells her the truth about why he was there, she tells him how she found out about her father. Help comes from an unexpected source and we do get a HEA.
It was a quick, entertaining read and while very short the author still manages to convey the passion, feelings and emotion. Definitely reading more by this author.

Wade happened to replace Elena gaurd. Wade happens to have more of a reason then just to be her gaurd. It was his brother that was actually killed. He knows Elenas Dad was up to no good, she knew it too. Once they put all the information they both had on her father they were able to it him behind bars for his own good. Mean while they fell in love.

This is a short and sweet story that I absolutely love the the characters and the story. A must read This is a well-written insta-everything book with Characters with depth and and a good scenes. Wow! What a rush and a fabulous book! Wade and Elena have such strong personalities, convictions and emotions that I was captured from the 2nd chapter in. You can feel the devastation that Elena felt when she finds out about her fathers betrayal, but the biggest question that comes to mind as I read it is....will she help or hinder Wade on his own mission for revenge? It is well worth the read

This is Elena and Wade's story and I loved reading this book. It's a fast paced sweet insta love short story with a alpha male and the curvy woman he loves. It's a wonderful story that was an entertaining story with some drama and intrigue and an amazing hot and steamy love story I highly recommend reading. I can't wait to read more.

This is a short suspense filled instalove story. Wade is out for revenge until he meets Elena, Elena has found out her Dad is an evil man but not sure what to do about it. The she meets Wade her new bodyguard. The story had me intrigued and unable to put the book down till the end. Wade and Elena have amazing chemistry and the story is very well written. A very intense story. It has all the parts put together correctly and it flows okay but I thing it needs to be a little more enhanced. I think because there was no steamy times it left me wanting more. The storyline is well written and the characters are very interesting. A good read! I recommend this book!.

This is the story of Elena and Wade. When she discovers her father’s true character, she is afraid for her life. She doesn’t know why her bodyguard Vasquez left without saying goodbye but his replacement Wade is determined to finish gathering the information Vasquez started. There is the instant attraction these to have for each other. Can they bring her father to justice? I enjoyed the action and romance in this story. The author has pulled us into the lives of Wade and Elena and keeps us there. Wade is hired as bodyguard for Elena, but he has his own agenda. Elena is the daughter of a politician and knows things that she should not.

This is a short story, which I love, but has so much packed into it that it didn't feel like I missed anything. There is betrayal, lies, suspense, and the insta-love romance you crave.
