Ah, it was an a-ok book. Didn't love it. Didn't hate it. Would I recommend it?? Yesss?? I don't know. If you are interested in reincarnation and stuff, You'll probably love it.
Exceptional work for a debut Novel by Mr. Imesh Madusanka Yapa. As a Sri Lankan living abroad, the subtle detail highlighting the surreal nature of the hill country made me miss home even more! Looking forward for more originals from this author.
I don't understand why readers categories this book as thriller, horror and crime genre. The writing style too is not eloquent. I would suggest the author to read books such as gone girl, sharp objects, silent patient, girl on the train etc so that he would improve his writing skills and so that we can feel the real horror. However, I would give one star for the author's effort
I really love the story though it is heartbreaking , I couldn't put the book aside till the end. I usually don't read sinhala books unless I find them interesting story like this one. I will re read this for sure ❤️
Nice plot twist at the end. But it was exhausting to read because sometimes the main characters don't see the very obvious details! For example it took them more than half of the book to figure out Alan is Sudath. So I felt the book was excessively too long.

While reading the book, I felt sadness, pain, fear, happiness, and curiosity. This is written in a very interesting way so that the mind of the reader is not disturbed at all.
I really enjoyed this book. The story flows well and never left me bored. Some of the plot twists were a bit predictable, but overall, it’s a solid read from a promising new author.
