Earlier this year I read ‘Weakest Lynx’ by Fiona Quinn, the first novel in a new and original series which cleverly married tough Special Ops missions with a young woman with extraordinary (literally) abilities. The series promised much and I quickly devoured the next two books. They were exceptional, taking the characters and this cross-genre mix to even higher levels. A difficult act to follow, yet Quinn has not disappointed her fans with ‘Cuff Lynx’, the fourth book in the series. In fact, she’s taken everything to a new plateau, and given readers a degree of closure with the ongoing story arc to boot.

The threats this time are off the scale; not just the insidious machinations of the covert organization behind the events of the previous three novels, but a new ‘weapon’ that challenges protagonist Lexi’s own special abilities. The pace rattles along, the tension is everywhere, your emotions will be put to the test. Quinn’s no compromise writing style propels the reader into a frenzy of action and complex plotting. Spyder is back too and we get to see much more of Lexi’s enigmatic mentor. Several twists are introduced that give an entirely new perspective to Lexi’s background.

This series has exceeded all my expectations and this fourth volume is the cherry on top. Don’t miss it! If you haven’t already, start at book 1 and read them all. A 5 Star bombshell!

Thank you!

Fiona! Girl! (I'm typing as if we are friends).
You had had me at Weakest Lynx. I am slacking at working reading this series. Thank God for my own office. On to book 5.
I rarely take the time out to leave a review, let alone one longer than this one at this point.
Can I just say I fall deeper into the rabbit hole each book. When I first came upon Lexi's gift I said to myself "self, what are you reading and can you deal with this?" I am a skeptic in almost every aspect of my life, but you made me a believer. I want a few of them myself. You really gave each character life. Having been in the Marine Corps for 9 years, I felt my next step should have been to become one of these vulnerable and honorable badasses, but a woman. It didn't happen, but I am still serving Veterans. The characters spoke to my soul. The story lines are quite believable as I have vivid imagination. This series gives me a reason to read more and add to my vocabulary. They are entertaining and emotional.
I am easily bored but I have yet to and don't plan to be bored with your books. Thank you from someone with PTSD and needs to keep my mind occupied.

Lexi has to deal with some relationship issues that deal with her job, and she isn't sure how she can do it. Then on top of that she feels like their is a traitor around her, but she's unsure what it really means.

This book has a lot of drama, and a lot of plot twists that happen. I liked it, but it wasn't as good as the previous books. And I didn't like the whole jealous thing, or could be jealous thing. That was annoying.

And the ending was a little disappointing as well. It didn't really give us enough information, but it was a good series over all and I did like this book.

This is one hell of a smart author. I love this series and I love Lexi. Sad to see this is the end for this series - don't figure I would Pick up the new series she's writing. Loved this one due to the unique heroine.

Cuff Lynx was the best, the most excitingly thrilling read of the series.

I am totally fangirling Lexi Sobado right now talk about a woman who stops at nothing to save herself, her loved ones, her country and the rest of the world why she is at it. When you have the worst 2 years of your life possible it should be time for a quiet normal life right? I mean surely things can not get worse, can they?
Well of course they can we are talking about Lexi here and it seems nothing in her life is ever ordinary, the surprises keep coming hit after hit and yes some of those hits are literal and painful.

In Cuff Lynx which for me was the best book in the series Lexi and Spyder are working as a team to sort everything out, puzzle through so much and untangle the web they find themselves and Iniquis in before Iniquis is no more.

Striker has been put on a special assignment with the Secret Service which ends up intersecting with Lexi and Syders assignment in a huge and dangerous way.

Jack is injured early on and spends the story frustrated and recovering.

The rest of the team do everything they can to help both Lexi and Stricker on their respective cases with more than a few shocking results.

Cuff Lynx was a thrill a minute roller coaster ride that I never wanted to end.

Ingenious!!! Loved the whole series, each book kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't put the book down. I figured out the PM helper 70% of the way through the book. Lexi's psychic abilities going behind the Veil, electric currents she and Gater felt, so good. The inclusion of author, Allan Leverone's name to the book was a nice surprise. I nomimated both The Omega Connection and Weakest Lynx and glad they were both published by Kindle Scout. Looking forward to following this author and reading the Strike Force series. I see Deep is getting his story told, can't wait to read about Gater and Jack though. Kudos Fiona Quinn.

A wails crazy ride!

Just like the previous books, Fiona takes you on a wild crazy ride that never lets up. Lynx and Spyder take on hydra once and for all while striker deals with problems of his own. It was intense, thrilling and wonderful!

Fiona Quinn ramped up the suspense, intrigue and mystery to the nth degree in Cuff Lynx. Talk about a sitting at the edge of your seat story. Phew, what a rollercoaster ride! I was blown away by the level of detail that Ms Quinn incorporated into this story. The research had to have been mind boggling especially things that seem so futuristic and other worldly. It truly enhanced the pace and scope of the book.

The mysterious Spyder finally emerges from the shadows and tasks Lynx with a mission that only the two of them know about. Meanwhile, Striker is on a classified mission himself so he and Lynx's time together is severely limited. Add to that his undercover partner is a drop dead gorgeous secret service agent who he once dated. Talk about reasons for insecurities and the green eyed monster to surface. The Strike Force team, Lynx & Spyder and Striker are all in essence working the same problem from different angles. Uncovering the Puppet Master's and Indigo's identity leads to a rapid unraveling of the branches of the Hydra. Striker and Lynx may finally get a chance to breathe, enjoy their relationship and move toward their HEA

A National Security threat unlike any other in contemporary thriller novels

Those last two years had been a hellish ride.” Those are Lynx’s thoughts at the start of the book. Then things get worse.

Iniquus contracts are ending badly, with failures to complete their agreements, and the ambush and serious injury to its operatives. Iniquus is actually heading for bankruptcy, as typical clients are shying away. It is if an enemy is actually party to mission planning.

The unthinkable: There is a mole within the organization.

Potential spoiler: Fiona Quinn’s work is consistently creative and innovative. Her research shows. Her use of “remote viewing” procedure in Cuff Lynx invokes the movies Men Who Stare at Goats and Inception.

The last four novels I have read are the first four of the Lynx series. I am starting on the fifth. Never, in my lifetime as an avid reader, have I read more than two by one author in sequence. This is not great literature. But it is great fun, and can be very addictive. In the nicest way.

Fabulous!!

I wrote a three star review, on the Lynx series, book 3 last night. I felt like a traitor to Fiona. Books two and three didn't impress me much. After reading other reviews, of five stars, I really started to doubt myself. Because, I love the Lynx series and Fiona's books!! After finishing book four, it validated that for me, books two and three, although good, we're not up to what I have come to expect from Fiona's books. Book four was fast pace, kept moving through out the entire book. No long pauses with pages of speculating. This book is Fiona at her best! I highly recommend this book!!! Read it. The plot is great and keeps your interest all the way to the end. Five hundred plus pages, kind of freaked me out. I didn't know if I could stay involved that long. But it moved so fast and smoothly, I never noticed the length. Again, Fiona, I want to thank you, for having your books, in Kindle Unlimited!!! As I've said before, I read at least two books a day. Without KU I'd never be able to afford them.

Outstanding!!🌟
(Read using Kindle Unlimited)

Wow, what an adrenaline rush & rollercoaster ride this book was!!🙈🎉😱

Strike Force & Iniquus as a whole are under threat. Lexi feels it on her first day back after her harrowing kidnapping & subsequent plane crash!!😕 She can't quite place where the threat is coming from but she 'feels' it's violent & focused across the entire company!

In desperation Lexi sends a code out to Spyder McGraw that she needs him. From there they are tasked, secretly, to work together without financial constraints, to finally bring down the Hydra!!!😱😳

This book was terrifying in its concept regarding who & 'what' the Puppet Master is. 💀 It is brilliantly written, the characters & world building are outstanding👍😍 If I had a gripe about this book it could only be ... Not enough Striker & Lexi together time for me 😉💘

This is a must read thrilling thriller 😎😀

Fighting fit or mentally unstable?

Lynx is back at work but that doesn't mean trouble has stopped following her, infact those targeting her have upped their games and are now targeting Iniquus too. Book two was Lynx's mental test, book three was a physical one and here Lynx almost reaches her emotional breaking point...fortunately we also finally get to meet and investigate with the illusive Spyder, showing us yet another side to Lexie. Together they are scary smart but even they are struggling...is the enemy really too big, too encompassing and too skilled or......are they just completely off their rocker?
We get more answers for those questions from book 3 and for the first time we get to see a jealous and unsure Striker...which only makes you love him more.
We are now fully invested in everything Iniquus, thank goodness that all the Iniquus related series are available on Kindle Unlimited!

I got hooked on this series when one of the books went on sale, and I haven't been able to stop reading! Quinn has an excellent grasp of timing, pacing, and tension-building, as well as a great imagination to make her quirky character work. There are paranormal elements, but this series reads like a thriller. Well drawn characters, fantastic plotting and execution. I read Chain Lynx and Cuff Lynx, back-to-back, so I give them the same review (since I don't rehash the storyline you can read in the blurb for yourself). The books are worth the reading, especially if you don't value your sleep and reading to 3am (because you can't put the darn things down) is okay with you. In Cuff Linx, the main plot is finally revealed--although, some of the suspense elements were a bit too predictable-- but the reader will get a wonderful wrap-up. Loved it

Cuff Lynx is the fourth book in the Lynx Series by Fiona Quinn. Lexi and her mentor Spyder work together to bring down the unknown enemy they refer to as The Hydra. Lexi has returned to work but something is off about the Iniquus building, Lexi feels as those evil has entered the building. An unknown force is trying to destroy Iniquus. Due to some failed missions Iniquus is not getting the usual number of contracts and money is tight. The commander is sick with an unknown illness and Striker Rheas who is now Lexi's fiancé is on an undercover mission with one of his ex-girlfriends. Things go from bad to worse as Lexi puzzles the trouble at Iniquus. I loved this book. This an intriguing story line with may different angles and you don't see who the real foe is until the end of the book. The whole series is a must read.

Holy... SMOKES!!

Whew!! This one was INTENSE!! For starters, this is a series so start at the beginning!! This is book 4 so you'll be lost on several points if you read this first. Now, onto my review...
I COULD NOT put this down. My laundry and dishes have piled up for 2 days because I could NOT stop reading. The ending was incredible and I was on the edge of my seat! I wish there was a tad bit more seggsy time with Striker and Lexi but it doesn't take away from the story by any means, just my personal preference. Love ALL the characters and their personalities. Excellent flow, speed and content. You can really tell this author does her research about military. Can't wait to start on the next one! Although, I'll unfortunately have to do some laundry and dishes or my family may disown me. Might be worth it, though. 🤷‍♀️😂

FANTASTIC!

This is a great series! This is the third book of the the Lynx Series. After the first one I couldn't wait for the second and sure as HE*L hope there is a fourth. This one and each can be read as a stand alone. The HEROINE and HERO are so strong but they are vulnerable too. They have a "TEAM" that has followed through the three books. Each has a very strong story and each will make you laugh some, get angry lots and finish with a smile and hope there is the next. The HEROINE is such a strong and versatile character. I love how Fiona Quinn has the strong women leads them she adds everyday qualities . The HERO is quite the compliment to her. The story is very strong with a lot of twist and turns. Thank you!

Cuff Lynx: The Lynx Series Book 4 is by Fiona Quinn. Lynx finally returns to Iniquus only to immediately feel that something is wrong . Evil has entered Iniquus but she can’t figure out where it is. It actually seems to be strongest in her Puzzle Room. She finds out that General Elliott is in a nursing home because he is ill but the doctors can’t figure out what is wrong. All his tests come back that he is perfectly fine; but he is in a coma and can’t communicate. Striker is set to work a mission with a former flame, Scarlet Vine, who has made it clear that she wants Striker back. Lynx has to decide if she is strong enough to trust Striker enough to stay calm while he works with Scarlet. She has to figure out what is wrong at Iniquus. Can she figure it out in time?

Cuff Lynx

Lexi and Spider are paired up to defeat Hydra. The Immortal head is Indigo, the Puppet Master and part of a defunct government project, a remote viewer named Allan Leverone, AKA Allan Hayes and his protege Tabby Cat (Tabitha Catherine Leverone or Grace Hayes) , Secret Service code name Scarlett Vine. They are mentally unstable due to government intrusion and attempted assassination. The daughter is delusional and tries to make Striker love her by kidnapping, drugging and seeding his mind. Spider and Lynx recover documents that prove this and all the names in government involved in all the illegal actions of politicos and criminals. Iniquus is victorious.

In the words of lynx "holy moley"
I cannot get over the complexities that Fiona Quinn researches and writes.
This book brings all previous books to a mind blowing conclusion.
The psychic input, the espionage, the tidbits of emotional turmoil and the web that weaves it all together is just beyond brilliant.
I almost lost the gist in a few places but the way Ms Quinn writes, the pieces came together quickly.
If you like complex plotlines with a touch of the unknown and a tad of romance then this series is for you.
And Jesse, the narrator, her voices and accents are superb.
Simply audibly brilliant.

I am speechless. Truly. There are no words left. This story takes off at a breakneck pace and left my head spinning over the possibilities it suggests. I know it’s my overly suspicious nature, but it drove me completely mental when Lexi kept overlooking what I thought was the very obvious villain. I was so pathetically grateful when it was out in the open and I could finally stop clenching my jaw in frustration. Knowing what I’ve already read in some of the future books, I can’t wait to dive in and explore more of the Iniquus world.

Great story

This story gives us the answer and puts all the pieces together from the previous books. The relationships are vibrant and heartfelt. The action and cases are intriguing and full of detail. . . And now we find out more about Spyder, Lynx parents and the Hydra.

I flew through this book and enjoyed all the writing moments that stuck out due to details, action, humor, love, self reflection, a little sci-fi/paranormal and more. This is a great series and I loved this book. I thought the ending was the ending, but apparently Spyder and the General are not done!

Bound together by love

This conclusion to the Strike Force of Iniquus Agency series is riveting, complicated and (literally) hypnotic. Following the exploits and adventures of Lexi Sobado, puzzler extraordinaire. She and her fiancee Striker are swept up in an extensive plan to undercut America and those who would save it. It comes down to Lexi (with her many exotic talents) and her mentor, Spyder, to puzzle an answer that will save the country and Iniquus. Well written and a great story of a woman saving herself, her lover, her team and her country.

Iniquus, Book 4, Lynx Book 4
Fiona Quinn, author

Someone is definitely out to frame or possibly eliminate Lynx. And there may be a mole within the Iniquus family. Striker's sister is kidnapped for a second time and terrorized yet again. Is Lynx, Striker or Iniquus really the target? Perhaps all of them are. Read this edge of your seat Special Ops thriller to discover the answers. I highly recommend this novel.
