Thanks, Kali Hart, for Dylan and Elyse's great story. Short, sweet, insta-love — with plenty of steam between these two! I always get a kick out of her characters' dialogue.

Wish we could have had Dylan as a full length novel because for me he was *cheif kiss* and would have liked to known what had made him so jaded, but regardless I loved it!

Dylan is the second book in the Harrison Brothers in Alaska series. This is the story of Dylan and Elyse. This book picks up a year after the first book, Lane, ends.
Elyse has come to Alaska and the Mountain View Lodge to be the assistant for the summer to Ryker Harrison. She has been watching Ryker's outdoor Alaska Living videos for the last three years and has a massive crush on him. So when she saw the job posting on his website she jumped at the chance to make her dream come true....one toe curling kiss and he would fall madly in love with her. What Elyse did not realize until she arrived at the lodge was that there had been an email program issue and while she was one of the top ten finalists the job the offer email was sent by mistake. She actually never saw the email rescinding the offer which was sent an hour after, as it ended up in her junk box. So all of a sudden she finds herself in Alaska with two hundred dollars, no place to stay, no way home and no job. But not all is lost as it seems there is another job that Lane offers her, another assistant to another of the Harrison brothers...Dylan.
Dylan runs the fishing side of the lodge. He has been complaining to Lane for the last couple of years that he needs an assistant but Lane has always said there is no money to pay for one. So when Lane suddenly surprises him with an assistant he is wary, as it is to good to be true. Well he is actually right about that as his new assistant turns out to be a the beautiful and curvy young woman standing in the lobby who he finds very sexy. She also turns out to have no fishing experience at all and he quickly figures out has a major crush on Ryker. But as Lane tells him....he either has Elyse as an assistant or he doesn't have an assistant at all.
This is a very funny and entertaining story. Both Elyse and Dylan fight their attraction to each other, but for different reasons. In the end though all it takes is one fly fishing lesson, one toe curling kiss and a whole lot of attraction for things to get real interesting. I don't think you will ever be able to look at a fishing shack the same way again after reading this story ;-0 This was a great read and I look forward to the next in the series.

I kind of loved this story. It was short but entertaining and enjoyable even with a few cringe-worthy moments. The characters were interesting and likable. Elyse is smart, sassy, and more than willing to do what it takes for her new job. Only her new job isn't what or with whom she expects. Dylan is alpha but not afraid to ask for help when he needs it. After meeting Elyse, Dylan knows that he is in trouble because he's all-in. Elyse isn't on the same page as Dylan though as she has a crush on his brother Ryker. There are a few issues but after a small fight, Elyse and Dylan appear to be on the same page for a bit. Then there is a misunderstanding and since Elyse isn't one to back down from a fight, she calls Dylan out on it in front of clients. After telling him her truth, he takes the clients out and all of them begin giving him advice on what to do with Elyse. I loved the way he used the advice they gave him with Elyse. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Dylan is the second book in Kali Hunt’s Harrison Brothers in Alaska series. In this book, we meet Elyse and Dylan. Elyse comes to Alaska to work with Ryder; however, her job offer was the result of a computer glitch. So, when she arrives, she learns that she has no job. She beseeches Lane, the oldest brother, for a chance. He gives it to her by hiring her to work with his brother, Dylan. Dylan, fishing guide, pestered Lane for an assistant and was happy to get one. What he did not know that is Elyse does not know anything about fishing. Elyse amuses and intrigues Dylan. There is a chemistry between them. Will Dylan and Elyse get together?
I enjoyed Ms. Hart’s romance. I liked her creation of her lead characters. Each are caring. I enjoyed Ms. Hart’s skill in penning strong conversational and internal dialog. I loved the witty banter, especially between Dylan and Elyse. I enjoyed the sparking chemistry between them. I appreciated how Ms. Hart linked this book to the first. Well done, Ms. Hart.

Elyse made her way to Alaska for a job with the idea that she will be able to make Ryker to fall in love with her. When she arrives at the lodge there was a error and the job she wanted was not available, what job was available was not what she was expected and not with the brother she wanted. Dylan handles the fishing trips at the lodge, and has been continually asking an assistant and when he finally gets one, she knows noting about fishing.

Kali Hart has become one of my must read authors and this book only adds to that distinction. Ms. Hart has a way of drawing you into her books from the 1st page to the last with her terrific storytelling and world building, that's not always easy with a short story. Her characters are so delightfully flawed that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. Dylan and Elyse's story is one of finding your soul mate when you don't even think that the other person is really the right one! This story has everything that you could want: comedy, drama and hot romance (it is a Kali Hart book after all). You will be sorry if you miss this 2nd book, as well as the previous one, in the Harrison Brothers in Alaska series.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Dylan is the second book in the ‘’Harrison brother’s in Alaska’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Elyse gets a job confirmation to work with her crush, she is ecstatic. When things don’t go as planned, will she give in to her attraction to his brother? Dylan wants Elyse as soon as he meets her but with her crush on his brother, will he get his girl?
The chemistry between Dylan and Elyse is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Once again we are with the Harrison Brothers in Alaska and like the first book it ids a fast fun filled romp that takes less than thirty minutes to read so is perfect fro when you are short on time

Elyse arrives in the Alaskan Lodge thinking she has the assistant job with Ryker. She's been crushing on him forever. She finds out that he's already got an assistant and she's out a job. Lane talks her into accepting an assistant job with Dylan who's been asking for help for a year. She accepts but knows nothing about fishing. He walks into the Lodge to fire her but gets stopped in his tracts and then when they shake hands he lost. It was such fun watching Dylan and Elyse banter back and forth. Their chemistry was blazing hot. This was such a sweet, steamy, insta love story with a rugged "fishing" mountain man. This was the best read! Elyse has come all the way to Alaska thinking she has the dream job with Ryker Harrison only to find out it was an error. What does she due now? Well, the lodge needs an assistant for Dylan Harrison who is the fishing guide. She does not know anything about fishing but she hasn’t got any money to fly back home. When Elyse meets Dylan sparks fly, some good some bad. Dylan thinks it is not going to work but what does he have to lose. This is a very entertaining story, funny, lighthearted, hate/love relationship. It is spicy, sexy, and passionate. It has everything you want in a good read!

Elyse comes to the resort in Alaska to assist Ryker, but finds out the internship went to someone else. Lane sets her up with helping Dylan, who is in charge of the fishing. They start off a little rocky but then things skyrocket. Miscommunication is the biggest problem between these two, even once they confirm their feelings. Luckily she finds a friend at the resort, who has gone through this, too, and gives great advice. Dylan uses some advice that he gets from some fishermen from Florida. Who better than guys who have been married forty plus years. The ending is great and I can not wait for Ryker and his story coming up.

A great series about brothers who run a lodge in Alaska. Again you can find here some erotic moments in unusual places. I really like Kalis diversity of bedroom time. Here are characters who are attracted to each other despite many differences and quickly realize that there is a strong physical attraction.

I’m really loving this new series where the guys are super quick in declaring the women as theirs. Like all of this series, there is drama and of course the secrecy of the romance underway. Elyse arrives for a job working with Ryker, that has already been taken. Lane, Dylan’s older brother offers her a job working as Dylan’s assistant. Only she has no idea how to fish. The story that unfolds is hilariously funny and steamy hot. You just can’t miss this story.

Dylan and elyse got to know each other better and acted on their feelings. Dylan seen something and turned cold on elyse but she told him how she felt and walked off and he had to go on the fishing tour he had planned. Once he got off the boat he went to find elyse and they lived happily ever after

That confrontation/semi-break-up part was unexpected.
And truth be told, I feel like scoffing with laughter because I thought the hero was so downright immature thinking that way. But to be fair, the unexpectedness of that act gave that plot twist feeling, and it did not take too long for them to resolve that particular issue, so I guess it's still a win-win.
As always, this author never fails to give a short, satisfying, and, most of all, entertaining read. I will definitely look forward to reading more of her novellas in the future.

There are no mistakes, getting the position but for a different , Elyse might have been here at teh right time anyway. Dylan, the fishing instructor is stubborn. They hit it off and teaching and student are in sync. No cliffhanger

Elyse is disappointed when she doesn’t get the job at Mt. View Lodge. She is given a job as Dylan’s assistant for the summer. However, the job is assistant fishing guide and Elyse doesn’t know anything about fishing. I enjoyed the humor in this story and especially how Elyse blurts out her feelings for Dylan.

Dylan has been asking for an assistant for a year and Lane keeps telling him no. When Elyse shows up she thinks she got the job as Ryker's assistant but finds out the job went to someone else. Lane feels bad so he offers her a job as Dylan's assistant. This is one challenge neither of them saw coming.

I was laughing at this while also smiling and swooning. If you read the first book, you know that Dylan wants an assistant but his brothers kept pushing him off. He finally gets one but she was meant for Ryker and Elyse knows nothing about fishing. This just makes their interactions all the funnier but the tension and pull between them can't be denied. I devoured this.

This was such a treat, loved the grumpy Dylan only to be stunned by his new assistant. So glad to hear from Elyse’s character again, liked how she got the Harrison brother meant for her. I liked her sass and she was able to hold her own when head butting with Dylan, a great ending and can’t wait to get Ryker’s story next.

This is a fun, short, fast paced read that is well written, witty, steamy, funny, and entertaining.
The characters you will love; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts.
