Not for me
My overall feeling of this book is that men are profoundly selfish and will step on anyone to make themselves happy. Example number one. Fauvette’s father who was basically an indifferent father who cared only about his passion. Example number 2, Angelis father who basically bought himself a surrogate (an behaved like a modern slave master with the big house and little house) because he wanted more children, to ensure his legacy and sex on tap while he was at it. Even after his death Angelis is being manipulated into doing his bidding. Of course they are now rewriting history and casting Ester into the role of the shrew but if Fred had any self respect and respect for his family he would have divorced his wife and established an open relationship with Angelis’ mother. As it was it turned them into the shameful dirty secret and free labor. Example number 3, Angelis who is so focused on his own needs and has zero respect for Fauvette’s dreams and needs. She indeed worked hard to become a vet, how dare he dismiss that and decide she has nothing to show for it because she had a huge setback? The women in this book apart from Birdie they were enablers. Angelis mother who is trying to sell him that his childhood was completely normal and that it’s all love with his siblings (as if) but somehow as he was “bought “ he still owes dead Fred something and should carry on doing his bidding posthumously. As for Fauvette, basically she had to abandon her career’s ambitions to push forward Angelis dreams turning into Betty homemaker. Repeating all the time that it’s going to be a good life doesn’t make it so. Birdie was the only woman with any sense in the book and she was turned into a burdensome eccentric. Really disappointed by this content.

Hilariously Entertaining
Most people don't believe in love at first sight, nor do they meet issues they see head on. Fauvette met Angelis at the bar in their hotel while she was on a trip in New York that should have been her honeymoon. For the first time he nine months, she found herself laughing and he told her if he ever saw her again, he wouldn't let her go. Thanks to the mail-order bride agency, and much to her surprise, he was listed as one of several matches for her. Their compatibility, quips, and overall demeanor towards each other made this book funny. Add in her mother, and this book made me laugh out loud. Excellent read.

Great Read
This book is really good. It is engaging, funny, life changing, revealing and just all around great. There is great character interaction, as an awesome background location and sexiness. I recommend you picking this one up, you will be thoroughly entertained!

Eekee eekee eek
The mail order bride series just keeps getting better. It doesn't take long for the heart to recognize wheni it loves. It takes a long time for us to trust the heart knows what it feels, especially when it has been battered and bruised and is willing to love anyway. It has way more resilience than our practical minds. When we lead with our hearts we can heal and accept that happiness can be ours. Fauvette had a purpose and she worked very hard to achieve her goals. She forged a great reputation for herself. Who knew all of that would lead to crippling sadness when her vision was not valued. Angelis made an amazing life for himself and became a patented inventor but was full of anger and resentment. When his heart found its mate he became open to some truths and to some growth. He wanted what her heart wanted and her heart shifted to wanting him happy. She did not give up her vision, she just put him in her sights and they found happiness together building something no one could diminish. Great read.

OMG I loved this story
Angelis and Fauvette we’re destined to be together. Who would have thought that a chance meeting in a hotel bar would turn into a chance meeting with the mail order bride match maker whose computer came up with the same man Fauvette met at the bar. It was destiny, but they both had issues that needed to be work out. Both of them had mommy issues. Angelis also had daddy issues too. Fauvette had been hurt so bad by previous relationships, it was hard for her to trust again. But she saw what kind of man Angelis Franklin was and agreed to marry him and she was glad she did.
OMG, I love how Olivia writes. If l’m in a down mood one of her books is guaranteed to make it better. She is an excellent story teller, with a wonderful sense of humor. That Birdie was a trip. I highly recommend this book and any of her books.

Becoming beautiful in the moonlight
That is how I saw the H and h grow in this lovely story. It was so wonderful to see two capable and accomplished people who are successful in their own right come together and work on healing their own wounds and become more spectacular, and achieve more together. I can truly say I didn't know where this story was going and was 52% in before I felt like I could breathe easier. I truly loved Angelis but wasn't able to warm to Fauvette as much. I felt a different kinship to her though. There was less hot and heavy between the mains in this book than in others. It was also valuable to see our H having his own struggles that he had to grow to face and he wasn't the romance novel perfect man. The realism was good. Another fantastic read filled with laughs and love from Olivia Gaines.

Another great story from Olivia Gaines. A sexy apple farmer from Vermont meets a sultry Vet from Texas by way of Oklahoma. These two have smoking chemistry from the start.
The addition of the quirky mother named Birdie was hilarious. The woman was certifiable with her jello mold creations. I thought poor Angelis was going to send her packing after she kept trying to feed Rhodes thing to that poor man. He deserved better.
This was an insta love meets slow burn, if that makes sense. The main characters had immediate chemistry which left me salivating for them to get together. However, they did it at their own pace. When the electricity happened it was a little unexpected but well placed. As usual, I enjoyed the story, the wittiness and the funny banter.

Ok
It definitely had some funny moments. This is my least favorite in the series so far. There's a lot of colorful language which I don't mind but it's odd up against sex scenes that are so subdued. All the sex in this series is lackluster but this one had you thinking you may get a little more out of them considering the language outside those scenes. I'm also curious why in this mail ordered bride series it's only the men that point out the women being black? When in reality most black women ideal is to marry black men. Bw have reservations about dating white men for various legit reasons but in these books, it's the men who take note. That's strange because I know so many bw who are put off by the idea but it's never addressed here. Given history & encounters with racism these women have likely experienced especially given their high achieving professions, it's not only plausible but realistic that they would be hesitant to interracial dating. It's been a one-sided issue with each book. Why?

Whew...what a ride!😅
This was one messy, twisted too fast ride. You really do have to hold on, grit your teeth and muddle through. This was a start & stop for me. I read it over a period of months. I found the writing as choppy and chaotic as the minds and lives of all the characters. Its easy to lose patience with Fauvette, Angelis and their family & friends. I just kept wanting to scream at everybody to " Just please stop evading, sidestepping, and making wrong decisions and get on with the business of living!"
Gaines came through as always tho & dang if the truths didn't "out" and form into one great mix of people. And even with the epilogue and bumpy start-stops-I was still wanting more.
Gee..😊 well done.

So the mighty OG has written her 11th installment of mail or bridges series☺...very funny and original... Firstly the love intended are Fauvette and Angelis.... How original... Angelis is one of my favorite TV show character... These 2 star crossed potential lovers meet in lounge to ponder what's next in their lives.... Or if they will ever find happily ever after... And of course it happened on an orchard farm in Vermont... But the journey begins with Birdie...a tittie squeezer.. A horse named Bob...the confused Mallard...A stuffed calf....you get the picture😂😂😂😂😂

Another Great Read
I always enjoy reading your mail order brides books. They never cease to make me laugh and keep me on the edge of my seat. These two were just simply amazing. And her mother with that crazy gelatin stuff she makes adding certain food inside of it was just hilarious and I don't blame Angelis or Fauvette not wanting any part of it like eww no thanks! But I really didn't want this story to and hoping to hear some more of how their doing perhaps with his brother and their therapist friend would be great hint hint anyways looking forward to what coming next. Thanks for sharing!

Wow great story!!
I really enjoyed this book! The journey was great from start to finish. The chemistry between Angelis and Fauvette was amazing. Ms Gaines you are always on point. Reading this book was like watching a movie. The humor and the drama was well balanced and could not put it down. Did not want it to end. I wished Fauvette would have kicked Marylynn's butt. Ms Birdie was a mess but a loving mess! Great job Ms Gaines keep on doing what you do! Can't wait for the next book!!

A Very Good Interracial Romance
Moonlight in Vermont (Modern Mail Order Brides Book 11) is a very good interracial romance that earned a rating of five stars. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book about how Angelis Franklin met Fauvette Caso wary in a hotel bar to later find out that they were a match in the Mail Order Bride office. They had a lot of problems to overcome before they found the love they needed to marry. I would recommend this book to everyone who enjoys reading good romantic books.

Great story
It was pure coincidence to meet a matchmaker who has a profile of the sweet-talking man from the bar. Affection was immediate but love grew steadily for this couple, both with parent issues. Angelis is steadfast in his desire for Fauvette, who can't believe the path her life has taken. As they work through their issues together, the past is laid to rest. The addition of pushy mommas, quirky friends, and a plethora of erstwhile barnyard animals makes for a fun and heartfelt read. The editing could have been better though.

A Midnight Laugh
I laughed so much reading this book. It is one of my favorites by one of my favorite authors. The Mail Order Bride Series are all well written with great characters but this one had me laughing so hard with the crazy characters . Although it has lots of humor it also touched on how children are affected by the actions of their parents and other adults.
I give cudos to Olivia Gaines for the many well written books.

Healing Relationship!
Outstanding, outstanding,outstanding, I laughed so hard. The gelatin molds, oh my goodness where did you get that from? The chicken wing , beans and wieners in gelatin molds was a bit of weird. Why did “lil flocker” and Angelis paths cross so often? When it interrupted their love making was a hoot! Assuming Maryann was shooting at Fauvette, why? Mending bridges is always hard, but so worth it in the end. Could have read the whole 100% of this one!

This was an interesting read full of funny moments and dialogue. It also had read mature issues that involved having a second family and out of wedlock children. This had an impact on Angelis and rightly so. How is a child to make sense of such a difficult situation? It would means up anyone’s mind. I love that his chewtoy agreed to get some therapy to sort out her relationship. Olivia writes books that touch your heart as well as keep the reader going. Looking forward to reading Blind series.

So much better than the last 2 books in this series…
…I’ll even forgive the lack of hot, lusty love scenes that could have been possible. The lead male was described as such a hotty, and the passion between the two wasn’t done justice. Such a shame, but I appreciate this feel good story with little drama spent on salty ex friends and weak ex fiancé’s.
Leave the drama and bring the love and this story accomplished that!

OMG
Okay so I have read a few of these modern mail order bride books an I have to say this one in by far the funniest one so far. Angelis is funny hid sense of humor is hilarious as hell, I really like him. Fauvette is a hoot , I like the way they played off each other. I like the coming together of the Franklin family coming together at the end doing what their father wanted for them

Hilarious Read!
I enjoyed reading this book about Fauvette and Angelis! From first meet there was chemistry between these two! Fauvette mother, Birdie, was a trip. Her lack of cooking skills cracked me up! I was disappointed that things didn't come to fruition about who was shooting at Fauvette! I do believe that everyone who reads this book will enjoy it and the weird animals on Angelis's farm! I definitely recommend this book!

I loved this book so much, that I read it twice. Olivia Gaines is an author who when I pick up her books, I say I'm "going to school". I've learned quite a lot from her when it comes to writing romance and learning the nuances of writing a couple navigating their way into and around a new romantic relationship. I aspire to one day be a USA Today Best-Selling author. When you read her books, you know she had absolutely earned it!

A different enjoyable journey
This was a different enjoyable journey through the wonderful wonky mind of Olivia Gaines. It made me laugh, reflect and question her sanity lol - where does she find some of this stuff. I love the characters and how she develops them. This is another successful one for the books.

Another great story that made me laugh at the antics of each character. The chemistry between the main characters is built before sex which makes the love story more believable. Olivia Gains creates wonderful unique characters full of personality and humor. This book is no exception.

Another LOL Hit....
I can't say it enough, I love a book that makes you truly LOL. And Ms. Gaines always delivers that as well as great stories. If I had to have 1 complaint, it would be that more time between meeting and falling in love should have been longer to be more believable

Excellent as usual
This was excellent. Ms. Gaines has a way of taking serious subjects, mental health, rape,infidelity, making them come to life,but within her story there is life and levity. Thank you Ms. Gaines, it's nice to see and read real life laugh and not feel overwhelmed by what's happening in the world or in your immediate universe. Great job .

Loved it!
Once again Ms. Gaines wrote a hit! I loved the dynamics of Angelis and Fauvette's relationship! Angelis made it known from the beginning that he was open to a relationship, but it took Fauvette a little while longer to get aboard, but when she did, she was all in! I loved Birdie, and laughed out loud at her antics! Looking forward to the next book!

Great read
Angelis and Fauvette were meant to be together from the moment they met in that hotel bar. They both needed each other to lean on and for support with dealing with their past, families, and so called friends.
Marylynn was a jealous and petty heifer who wanted what Fauvette had but didn’t want to work for. She tried her best to destroy poor Fauvette but when she found out her plan backfired she try to shoot her.

Delightful
What a wonderful story it's absolutely enjoyable with characters that are captivating. It's so believable with unforgettable romance the couple relationship is rocky at the start but their chemistry make them want work on themselves. This series is intriguing and heartwarming that you will absolutely enjoy.

Laughing out loud
Olivia Gaines is an excellent author. I feel as if I know her characters personally.
I highly recommend this entire series. I wish this service really existed for older women

Storytelling at it's best, Moonlight in Vermont.
Another wonderful Modern Mail Order Bride story. Loved Fauvette and Angelis's journey, the many different stages. How they had to deal with their past to have a future.
The cast of supporting characters is great from Fauvette's nutty birdwatching mother "Birdie" to the dairy farmer cousin, they are all great.
