Another superb book from Pastor Skip. A comprehensive look at who God is and his character and will. It's broken down in sections about the proof of God's existence, specific revelation, God's attributes, the Trinity, etc. Scripture explained thoroughly and questions answered. A must read for non believers and believers alike

Does God exist? If He does, is it possible to know Him? Author and pastor Skip Heitzig sets out to answer two of life’s most crucial and fundamental questions in his biographical sketch of man’s Creator. As the book jacket suggests, “How you answer these two questions defines how you see the world.

Within these 285 pages, Heitzig follows the clues for God’s existence as well as his major attributes: His omniscience, His omnipresence and His omnipotence. The author even uncovers God’s most unpopular attribute. Finally, Heitzig tackles perhaps the most mind-blowing facet of God of all: his triune nature.

Why is “Biography of God” important? Why is it important that we learn about God’s attributes? In Heitzig’s words, “Because what you think about God determines what you think about everything else. If you get God wrong, your views about everything else will also be skewed; what you think about yourself, what you think about other people, what you think about the world, what you think about what is right and what is wrong.”

Funny thing, as Heitzig summarizes, “The more we learn about God, the more we realize how little we know about Him.” Apart from the Bible itself, this may well be the most important book you will ever read in your lifetime.

I have been a fan of Skip Heitzig on YouTube for years and when I saw this book available for review, I leapt at the chance.

I have no doubt that this book will speak to Christians who question, sinners not yet saved and anyone in between who picks it up. In fact, I think it has a message for everyone.

God is! He just is! And that is what was spoken to me?

But what will this book say to you?

Read it and see!

This is a great book for newer Christians or even unbelievers who want to know more about God. Skip's book is written in, for the most part, easy to understand prose and gives the reader a very good overview of who God is. Highly recommended reading if you are new to Christianity or are an unbelieving skeptic.
