My heart’s rough, wrecked, untethered.

"I can't wear this short of a skirt; it's too revealing," I bemoan.
"You've got to up your game to land a studly boyfriend. Give him a taste,” Misty smirks.

He chuckled at my frustration, entertained by my struggle to secure the damn noodle in the flimsy chopsticks.
I stabbed my utensils into the soup, gasping in panic as the soup splashed onto his shirt, the wonton into his lap.
"You really want to get me naked," he breathed against my chaotic lips.
Phil’s masculine bravado is all-consuming.
Unfortunately, his unrelenting agonizing emotions strike.
And I’m left a helpless, frightened bystander.

Pandora Snow has written another book in the Alphas' series. Book four is Alphas Phillip. He has been serving the past two years out to sea with his buds. Now back on dry land he needs to figure out his life.
Phillip is emotionally crippled. When he was younger, his mother walked out on him and his father without any explanation. The day he was being deployed, his wife had him served with divorce papers, just another woman who broke his heart. He swears off women all together until he has a drink poured down his shirt by Brooke.
It is instant attraction for them both. She temporarily forgets her fears about being cheated on again when she looks into Phillip's eyes. With a little help from Misty, Brooke's best friend and Houston, Phillip's best friend the two are nudged in the right direction.
These two have the chemistry and heat but is that enough? Add in a pregnant ex-wife that wants Phillip back, a Mother Phillip hasn't seen or heard from much in years looking for a place to live, misunderstandings, possible cheating and a job interview in another city across the state, all leave Brooke and Phillip confused and hurting.
Out of all of the Alphas books, this story is the most emotional so far. Phillip is a strong character as he struggles to deal with feelings that he has kept buried for a long time. With the help of Houston, Phillip wades through his emotional mine field. Brooke relies on Misty for her guidance and support. Both friends offering wisdom that our characters fail to see for themselves. These friends are very protective and only are looking out for them.
Alphas Phillip is a great addition to the series. Thankfully after the emotional journey this story takes us on it does end happily ever after.

Old baggage jeopardizes new love
Philip is the 4th Alpha in the series and he has some serious baggage he learns he needs to deal with. He has never dealt with his mom leaving him and his dad when he was a teen. Plus his wife served him with divorce papers the day he was leaving for a 2 year deployment with the navy. Philip basically pushed pause for 2 years and disappeared into the navy. Well now he is back on land and it all comes rushing back.
Good news is he has Houston and his family to learn on. Then he finds Brooke. The connection is instant, but with his ex and mother showing up, Philip needs to face the past before he can move on.
Philip's demons take him darker than the others before he realizes he needs help to face them. Satisfying ending to the story.
I adore Houston and cannot wait for his story next.

Such a fantastic plot! Love these Navy men, you feel the special strength, integrity, and struggles they all face returning from sea. Each one is my favorite until the next! This one is especially sweet! A wounded man, a beautiful strong woman, his dysfunctional broken family and ex-wife. Leave a huge hole full of anger, hurt, heartbreak, resentment, and rejection, until he gets closure he will continue to sabotage his life. It will take a special woman to guide him to forgiveness and find the courage to stand by her man! You get so caught up in their pain and love that you want to jump in and help! It takes a real man to cry, care, and forgive! You will find yourself falling a little in love with this hero! I know I did!

We all have relationship baggage, some more than others. This story has well-written characters that hit it off right away with sparks and a sense of humor.

Brooke is working when he walks in. Mr tall, dark and handsome. Her last relationship ended badly. She's looking for honesty, respect, and someone willing to commit. But maybe just one night of fun is in order.

He has abandonment issues because of his mother and ex-wife.
She has history with cheating boyfriends.
Add an ex-wife with a hidden agenda and a pregnancy who wants to get her ex-husband back, though not for love and you have the start to this master piece!
I love this book.
By the way. Go Houston and Mindy - BFFs of the year :D

Book 4 in this series is not like the others. Phil has a lot of baggage and issues that he takes into his new relationship with Brooke. They fall hard and fast in love with each other. Realistic issues but they are not handled in a realistic way. Yes I realize this is just a book and I love Pandora. This is my honest opinion on this particular book.

What a wonderful story , Phillip and Brooke both had struggles to overcome in their lives , Phillip dealing with abandonment, by his mom and ex wife . From the beginning though Their connection was instant , cam Brooke be the support that Phillip needs ?💜❤️📚

ALPHAS Phillip is a heartwrenching, instalove short romance. Phillip was abandoned by his mother as a teen. Then later, his wife. After a two year deployment he is home finding his way. He meets Brooke. This is their ups and downs story. Heartwrenching and heartwarming.

The author has pulled us into the lives of Phillip, sailor returning from duty, and Brooke, server/student and never lets go. They have an instant attraction, however, there are also issues that they need to deal with.

This is a great addition to the ALPHAS series. Phillip has a lot of emotional baggage to overcome and Brooke is just the woman to help him. Their romance is intense and emotional with a little bit of drama. Overall this is a well written and enjoyable story.

Another great story from Pandora Snow. This touches on a range of relevant subjects including parents' divorce, mistreatment, and mistrust, and how the right person can help you to heal and overcome it. A great addition to the series.

What a warm emotional story of heart breaking unhappiness in Philip's early life. Unfortunately this coloured his outlook on relationships. Meeting Brooke and with her help he was able to achieve a new beginning in repairing his relationship with his mother.

The fourth book of the Alphas Series takes you on an emotional journey with Phillip and Brooke. They had instant attraction for each other from the first spill and it evolved into an all consuming love! However Phillip has abandonment issues both from his mother and ex wife. Will compassionate, loving Brooke be the catalyst that lets him confront his issues or will he let her slip away.... I received an ARC for an honest review.

Phillip is a man who knows about rejection having lived a life of it. He thinks that his life will be a lonely one until he meets Brook. They are just beginning to bond when his past comes back to the forefront by way of his ex and mother. Will he be able to get closure to move on to a happily ever after with Brooke?
