PS: I'm writing this review for Season 1 of the series (First 50 chapters).

The premise of the series: Ryu Han-Bin, ex-military, is chosen and transported into a magical world. Everyone is given a guideline (you can level up, use stats, see skills etc) but his guideline is glitched. So, he spends a long time in the tutorial area because he can't level up properly. This is why he is super strong.

It was okay in general. I would have quit but I wanted to give it more chance and I managed to finish the 1st season. There are a lot of problems with this one and I won't continue with the 2nd season. It actually starts out pretty interesting. When we get past the introduction part, the problems start to occur as well. Here are some things that bothered me:

1)The pacing is terrible. It is very slow most of the time. However, sometimes, especially during the fights, it ends so quickly that you don't even have any time to comprehend. Because the pacing is almost always slow, it gets boring to read and I really forced myself to finish mere 50 chapters.

2)The protagonist is problematic. I love overpowered main characters but there needs to be a balance. Our MC is so strong that even absurdly strong villains are piece of cake for him. So, no matter how brilliant you write the fight scene or draw it, it becomes meaningless because you know the MC will just beat him in 2 hits or something.

3)There is a lack of interesting characters. The MC is interesting and funny most of the time. Other than him, there is Atisse and later Ephyr. Lots of characters are introduced but they are easily forgettable and you don't see them after 2 chapters anyway.

4)The worldbuilding is bad. There is not enough explanation for the power system, the world, its people, the otherworlders, and so on. Sometimes something happens and you don't know what is going on. There are also other times where you see 5 pages of information about some skills.

In short, the series had a potential but that potential is wasted really quickly. I liked the humour, the character design and art style. However, those are secondary when compared to plot and characterization. Try it if you are curious but I'm dropping the series after Season 1.

Starts off strong, interesting premise, decent world and whatnot. Doesn't take long to throw all of it off a bridge. Stopped at chapter 80, most likely will not continue it.

The main character is interesting at times, specifically in the beginning. Surviving? Cool. Figuring out what's happening? Cool. Trying to hide his godly strength in a world where being outed is a death sentence? Cool. Some of the art is fantastic, and there are several panels I've saved due to admiring the composition and whatnot; there are segments that are absolutely art.

However, it's not all up to snuff. There's no standard, in art or pacing or storytelling. The author is either making things up as they go or think that outlines are for losers because half of the content could be cut and it wouldn't have an effect on the overall story. The overall story, as well, doesn't know what it's trying to do and jumps around from action to korean drama to sad backstory to useless side characters to mondo-evil mustache-twirling villains.

It lacks focus. There's a lot of potential, but introducing a new character every time the story slows down isn't good writing- it's lazy. I could explain the main plot to a new reader in a single sentence, but I'd probably make it sound more interesting than it actually is. Additionally, the characters suffer from Exposition-itus, where they can't help but scream out loud about things that we already know or actively see happening.

All in all, it's trying. Not doing so hot, but trying. I most likely won't finish it unless I have some time I don't mind putting towards it, but so many of the supporting characters are insufferable to my personal taste that it most likely won't happen.

I have finished reading to where it's updating, so basically I've caught up. And there are a lot of people who don't like this book. Everywhere I look, the ratings are kinda bad. AND I DON'T SEE WHY. Honestly, I think this is a really good manhwa. The art is very good, really great in fact. I love how all the characters are drawn and colored. The character design is spectacular too, each one really captures their personalities.

The main part that got my hooked was the plot. A friend said that they only didn't like it was because the translation they read of it turned them off, which is understandable but I read teh same one as them and I think it was really good, as I don't really pay attention to that stuff. Dialogue is important, but it's less about the grammar and more about what's going on the the story and I actually didn't really remember reading anything that was translated bad. But oh well.

As an action manhwa, it exceeded my initial expectations when I was recommended this from a friend as a good action story. And honestly, the story is very cohesive with little story plots/quests throughout but they all connect with the ultimate goal set at the beginning and I can't wait for it to keep updating.

One of the few good reads these days. while ryu han bin the MC is very strong, he is not overwhelmingly so, there are still tons of enemy and allies as strong as him. The premise are interesting, they are sent there to destroy the world in a battle between gods of different world unwillingly. When he actually comes into it, the world already know about it and hostile towards otherworlder. The plot is proper and the explanation is also logical. The pacing is good, each arc has good development for each character, and good twist too, unlike todays trends in manga/manwha that like to rush things.
Side characters also has ample screen time, If the characters are properly characterized, big chances that is not the last arc you will see him/her, the author has the skill to make each character unique that even following the story releases on each week or 2 fun and memorable.

tldr; a good pick if you like good slow story thats aged like a fine wine, definitely avoid if you want fast pace OP rush story.

I managed to finish the novel version of this and barely remember anything because so much is going on. I had to have a doc of notes in order to follow along with the story. This may be just my case because I read multiple books at once and tend to forget a lot of things.

In terms of the webtoon, I'm up to date. I liked the part where the MC realizes how his actions or mere presence can affect both him and the people who care about him. I didn't necessarily like that he just ran away, but he didn't have many options in the first place. Another aspect I liked was the arks of some of his more long-term companions.

Still, it gets repetitive at times and can cause you to want to drop it. If you don't like manga to be repetitive at times, then I don't recommend it because I don’t believe you can skip the fights because there are important bits of information for the story in between the fighting. I do recommend it if you can stand manga to be repetitive at times and like an isekai that is action-packed and has game-like dynamics.

This is definitely a comic series that I'd recommend to people who enjoy reading fiction even if they aren't into manga or manhua. I'm not a professional writer or anything and I can't understand much korean myself(I read the english version of this series) but I have written and drawn bits and pieces before and I'd like to say that this is probably one of the masterpieces out there, all along with Solo Leveling. The main character was someone very amusing and not your typical protagonist which I loved. The humor was on point, story was built gradually, characters are relatable and hilarious. I could feel the frustration felt by the main character and not to mention that the art is magnificent and beautiful. The creators have done a darned good job at every little aspect and you can see that as you read through the series. There's mystery and thrill mixed in as well. If you have some time to spare then please give this fiction a go. I loved it!

The art was good, the fight scenes were good too, and actually good scanlators. But the plot itself is so bland it can be considered trash. And the MC is very uninteresting, he’s OP but is not an interesting MC, they got a cross dressing male/female, and a talking wyvern. Not one of the main characters eludes any feel of anyone important. Tried to finish season 1 but I couldn’t, quit after 35 chapters.
