Five standalone dark mafia novels in the bestselling Syndicate series. Unleash the passion of FIVE dominant, powerful mob bosses.
Theo This man is everything your mom warned you about. Ruthless Cold I should be afraid of him. I should keep my distance. But talk about sexy - he’s a living, breathing, chiseled god. When l meet his eyes for the first time, I know what's behind them. These were dark, angry, and full of demons. Who cares if his past has damned him? Who cares if his eyes say he could never love? I'll suffer in silence, let him pierce my heart till I bleed out knowing he'll never feel the same way. Or could he?
Carlyle I’m a powerful criminal. I know fire when I see it. Valerie is too feisty for her own good. I bring the world down to its knees. But she isn’t scared of me. Not yet. She hasn’t seen the real face behind this mask. The man that I’m capable of turning into. But she does trigger the monster within me. One that will devour her until she submits herself completely to me.
Erik Did I make a mistake laying eyes on Natasha? F”ck no. My cracked little Fabergé egg with baby blue eyes and curves that shook my soul. Hot as hell, but why is her touch icy cold? Her ocean eyes tell me she’s hurt. Tormented. Neglected. Still, I want her. Her heart, like her soul, is dead. In that, her and I are the same. I’ve always liked to take risks, play with fire But I won’t watch as the flames get higher. Demons lie in whispers of her past, but I’m her future. Just before I find her heart, she finds another secret. Secrets that could shatter everything. I’ll fight. Until the ashes of her past turn to dirt. It’s time she learned, pretty things aren’t meant to be broken. But can I save her from herself? Or will her demons tear her apart in the process?
Oran What was the meaning of the human connection? When my one constant dissolved in my palms to ash, I found the answer to that question. True, it required a total upheaval of my life, but- hey, my goals weren’t all that great, anyway. In that moment, I lost everything that had been and found what could be. Seattle was supposed to be a new beginning. A silvering city on the water, where I spent months finding myself and what I wanted- truly wanted. And then… I found her. A stroke of luck on the back of a mindless decision, she came into my life like a storm determined to run its path.
Mateo There were a lot of things in my life I regret but taking that walk that night wasn’t one of them. I was tired. I was ready. I was stuck in an endless loop with no way to escape. After the shit of the past years, I could waste away in this room and be happy to do so. But I wasn’t alone, and her… she didn’t deserve this terror. She didn’t deserve this incompetency. Me- I spent my life knowing this day might come, and I was ready.
Raven Scott is a contemporary romance author who dabbles in suspenseful stories. As a reader, she loves when twists and turns pop out in stories and strives to do the same in her own work. When she isn't writing, you can find her by the beach with a Sangria in hand, taking in the scenery.
This collection of stories has a lot of great positives. The plots are excellent, themes superb and characters are well thought out and easy to love/hate (depending).
I loved how characters from one book to the next mingled together and continued throughout each story.
However, short of 2 of the books, each ending was abrupt and often left me thinking “wtf just happened?” A couple times answers came in another book. Mainly though that didn’t happen.
The story lines were awesome and truly showcases the depth and thought that went in to connecting each character. Steamy scenes were far and few between when you look at the collection as a whole. That’s neither good nor bad but something I include in my ratings for those who look specifically for that.
My biggest complaint were the spelling and grammar errors. A few times a sentence just stopped as if the editing didn’t get completed. Normally this doesn’t bother me too much...but there were many times I needed to reread pages because names were switched around or scenes would jump.
Also, and this is only my opinion, the last book in the collection had the potential to really tie up a few loose ends. It didn’t. I was disappointed in that but that’s just my perspective.
Having said all of that I would still read this story again because the Santino brothers and their stories are worth it.
The Syndicates Box Set - The Santino brothers are dark and sexy
The Syndicates: A Dark Mafia Romance Collection contains the 5 books in this series - 1. Theo 2. Carlyle 3. Erik 4. Oran 5. Mateo
I will say that if you pick this box set up now you will get the not yet released books Oran and Mateo, so that is a nice score. The books in this box set are about the Santino brothers and the Mafia empire they were born into and expected to continue. Some of the bothers are more dark than others but they are all on that scale. I have read and reviewed a couple of these books previously so I knew what I was getting into when I had the opportunity to read get this box set of the series. I am not going to post my reviews here again as you can read them if you want to. For the most part I found the story-lines to be engaging, the characters to be interesting and the family is one you would not want to meet in a dark alley. I will also note that you really should read the books in order. They can work as standalone books but there are things that carry over and/or are referenced.
I read an advanced copy of this box set and am leaving a voluntary and honest review. My opinions are all my own.
These stories some just were not good sorry. They just end. Carley I understand he was a bad person I didn't care how he just could kill woman without remorse. How he mad theo girlfriend do considering everything that poor girl went through .I though poor natasha what she did for valerie and how valerie turned on her bc natasha lie and oh Valerie was perfect huh. She was dating a mob boss she told natasha and she didn't judge her.how could valerie after 25 years ditch her oh wait she was with mob boss who killed non stop . Men and woman was violent . Yet she loves him .In the hospital wouldn't see her are you kidding me . I know friend turn their back back your own sister I actually cried how awful valerie was to natasha . I hated that story and valerie . Other one were good mateo was good oran was theo natasha was sad. But carlye and valerie deserve each other . I know it's only story but the other ones were so much better.
This is the collection of the syndicate Theo, Carlyle, Erick, Oran, and Mateo. Each story is absolutly what you would expect from a Mafia story. There is action, violence, betrayal, intrigue, and love. The characters are thoughout all the books. There are suprises in each of the books and there are two books that are not yet released. I loved all the books, this is an exceptional series. This is a must read if you like Mafia Family stories. You will not be disappointed.

The Syndicates is a box set of five standalone dark mafia novels. Each can be read as a standalone but why would you want to when you can get this box set at a great price. The Santino brothers are five intense mafia bosses who dominate their empires. I could not put my kindle down as I read book after book and by the time I finished I wanted more. The writing is well done, the characters are interesting and I look forward to reading more books by this author.
DNF. I tried to finish reading first book in series Theo but it just had nothing that pulled me in and wanting to know what was going to happen next. For the first big part of the book she felt he was a creeper and his missing fingers bothered her even though she had worse injuries than him. She came off way to judgemental and he didn’t really have any redeeming qualities. I just couldn’t get into this series.

Box sets are the way to sink your teeth into a good series.
The men of the Syndicate meet their women in some off the cuff ways. These women are all slightly different but strong in their own ways to be with these men. I would have liked seeing some more fight and more from these women. Going from story to story through this box set gives a more interesting perspective to the men in these stories.
The Syndicates: A Dark Mafia Romance Collection by Raven Scott. This entire series is each Character is ruthless, tormenting, Bad Ass and Yet underneath they can be Loving , Caring.. I Loved each Characters each book and now the series , it just leaves you wanting more . It’s like a dessert you don’t want it to end ... I recommend this series....
This box set contains 5 books, each one written about a different mob boss: Theo, Carlyle, Erik, Oran and Matteo. The storylines are entertaining, dark romances full of action, steamy sex, and plot twists you won’t see coming. This is a series that I thoroughly enjoyed. This honest review is based on a complimentary copy from BookSprout

Returned at 18 percent (chapter 34 of 45 of the first novel).
It was slow and plodding, I felt I didn't have a good feel for either of the main characters ("Illya, the heroine, and "Theo," the hero), and there were odd turns of phrases ("his gaze tenderized") and a number of technical errors/bad edits.
I thought this series would have been a little more exciting. It just wasn't as good as I thought it would be. It also took me a little longer to read. Just so you know, you need to get a better proof reader cause the one that done this sucks. It makes a confusing read. Thank you.
Valarie and her twin Natasha had an abusive upbringing and are out on their own away from their mother. When Valarie meets Carlyle her life would change forever. There is drama, some dark scenes that relate to his business and hot scenes between them. . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really liked the stories quite interesting each one was different keep me reading only thing I missed was wonderful happy endings the endings were a little short but it was a good series.
It had its moments and was entertaining but I couldn’t really lose myself in it. It didn’t flow naturally or feel authentic to me. I couldn’t connect with the characters on a deep level.
Totally unsure why I bought this series, but am happy I did. To read that these characters got themselves in track, and found the love of their lives was fantastic. Worth the read for sure.
Five books or steamy romance with gorgeous males. I think I've said enough. fair warning, you may have to read them twice. Once for the steamy romance and another for the storyline.
All 5 books in this series are great. They are dark, a little twist and filled with danger and excitement. The stories are well written and the characters are great. Mateo and Oran were my favorite books of the series. Very enjoyable and entertaining read.
