didnt love it.. slept at like 2am reading this shit despite not loving it:

description

again, my problems lie in the plot build and the rush to end the book. the guys never really redeemed themselves (except for Hayes), the others just got a free pass without really grovelling. the ending was rushed... like Lake was just forgiven because he tried to commit suicide and then went to rehab?? after the shit he did to her, including breaking her wrist? he didnt even apologize btw that guy is dangerous in as far as i'm concerned. i would rather have had the author detail the events that led to him being accepted back into the group, whilst all the guys kept an eye out for him since he is obviously VERY unstable. plus, that shit should have taken timmmmmeeee...i'm talking years here..

overall i thought:
1. Tessa is a bit weak for my liking. she takes those guys back just like that. her relationships seem superficial except maybe with Hayes. and she's stupid AF to have unprotected sex with all of them whist knowing they were players.. demand a damn condom and a visit to the clinic before jumping into that shit girl. love doesnt cure STD's..

2. Ryan zero connection with Tessa there except for his eagerness to Fuck her..

3.Sloan what kind of a name is that anyway? that dude was never serious about anything. i love boys who talk dirty but i could only cringe whenever he opened his mouth. not to mention that i could only picture him looking like this throughout the read:

description

4. Tessa's Dad what a douche. i dont even know how to feel. so Ryan's mum was cheating with Tessa's dad, then he left her mum for her. wow.. and he buys them a new house and moves 3 houses down from Tessa and his wife (cause they arent divorced yet).. again, wow.. and he cheated in the past with Lake's mum.. i'm outta wow's to give now.. i wish the author had written about Tessa's mum's new bae. i hope she got herself an Italian billionaire with a 5 deck yacht.. her dad was just something else. and i wish he had done something about the bullying from the jump start. not to wait until a whole year.. he was just so wrong...

5. HAYES THE REAL MVP! i loved him and everything about him..

with that said, the book must have been good cause it kept me interested although i wasnt in love with the characters.

Main lesson learned from series...

Tessa’s dad is the cause of all her problems...

If he had kept his dick in his pants none of this shit would have happened...

2 Stars. I loved this series, until this book.

I'm not ok with Tessa feeling guilty over her negative feelings toward Lake and she was basically guilt tripped into forgiving him. Should we blame her for Lake's abuse too?

He physically assaulted her, broke her wrist and overpowered her by holding her down making her feel helpless and scared. She is the victim, not him. I don't care what his reasons are they aren't justifiable.

Lake did NOTHING to earn forgiveness. He tried to kill himself and went to rehab...ta-dah all is right with the world now. The ending is wrapped up in a big red bow for Lake.

Not the ending I wanted.

It felt rushed and some very hasty additions in the last 10% didn't leave me satisfied. I didn't really buy into this harem and still think it was a one horse race. Only one deserved Tessa.

Tessa herself went from girl power in book 1, to dependent and needy for these Ballers. She was so hungry for their approval and once she was accepted by them all she kinda lost all her awesome independence.

There was also very little basketball in this. One game, that's for the whole book.

Fail

A disappointing ending. I'm actually surprised I managed to finish this at all. I’m glad it was a trilogy, I didn't need to be dragged out any further. Especially not with a harem I didn't like.

Read other books from this author in the future: yes

I liked about this book:
✔ Tessa is not a whiney person and lives with her injuries.
✔ The Basketball Theme
✔ Hayes
✔ Development of the harem dynamics
✔ Less bullying (only at the end when this someone deserves it)
✔ Relationship Tessa has with her Basketball Team after tryouts
✔ Tessa being a starting player
✔ Tessa's generous heart

What I don't like:
✔ Tessa being the rich girls who always talks about being (financially) generous or giving back.
✔ The Dad: living near to his ex and rub his newfound happyness in (in the other books he used his old house like he still owned it)
✔ The Dad and his girlfriend: Trying to get Tessa into the new family, by giving her an own room (she is 17 nearing 18 and lives just a few houses down the road!),
✔ The Dad always trying to be Tessas Hero but neglecting her in the first two books
✔ The Dad and his girlfriend: always inconsiderate about the feelings their kids have (e. g. Ryan about the car present, Tessa about the keys to her Dads house) and for not telling Tessa about the secret the new girlfriend has about being an escort in the past, so she could get blindsided
✔ Lake and Baby O'Brian because they don't feel sorry for what they did to Tessa (Dick Pic and broken Wrist). Lake explains later on the broken wrist.
✔ Tessa for not giving the Ballers and her Dad a harder time, for treating her badly.

It was a conclusion that did not meet the other two books which were way better. The pace was not right, because at some times it was to slow and at others to rushed.
And the O'Brians have a few scenes where they get what they deserve (Thank you Hayes).

Great ending to this series!

This series has blown me away. To be honest this trilogy was amazing but I still want more! I want to be with these guys trough college and beyond. I NEED it! I can honestly say I did not see that one coming with Lake and even though he did what he did, it all makes sense. I don't want to give any spoilers away but man I wish things would of taken a different route with Lake of you catch my drift! Guess if you want to know what I mean by that your gonna have to read it if you haven't already! It's totally worth it!😉

Lake didn’t deserved a second chance.
He didn’t deserved forgiveness.
He didn’t deserved to win with the team.
He didn’t deserved their friendship.
He didn’t deserved the scholarship.
He didn’t even deserved to live.

Sorry not sorry, but it sucked in a big fucking way that he got everything in the end. He didn’t deserved a fucking thing.

Wow, what a rush! I mainlined these three books like they were nothing over the course of 2 days. And I don't have one ounce of regret...well other than the fact that my name isn't Tessa Dale. 💁‍♀️ Am I right?

Just a hedonistic little spin into the world of high stakes high school basketball...which is like my fave school sport ever, so YAY! I really enjoyed the care and consideration that Ms. Moore took with her writing of the subject, it was well plotted out. I loved the dynamic cast or characters that we were introduced to, as well.. they were truly inspired. There were a few little hiccups here and there, but over all I was quite pleased with the way all 3 books tie in together. Well done, 4 stars.

Forget the heroine
The only thing i liked about this book is that Ryan ( one of the hero) at least cares about the heroine’s mother who is going through so much cuz her husband cheated on her with Ryan’s mom. At least Ryan realises that his mom hurt The heroine’s mom and he cares about what she thinks cuz the heroine being the daughter barely talks to her mom. Like her harem cares more about her mom than the heroine cuz the heroine focuses more on her cheating dad who not only cheated on her mom but also Ryan’s mon whom he is dating. And the heroine excuses his bullshit as “ humans makes mistakes” HOW MANY TIMES DOES A DUDE MAKE MISTAKE? Its not like it’s the first time he cheated. STOP MAKING EXCUSES FOR HIM U PATHETIC SHIT. Like YOUR BOYFRIENDS CARE MORE ABOUT UR MOM THAN U. Oh god this heroine is pathetic, someone kill her pls and set the guys free. Let them fly away like birds. The reason why Lake hated Tessa was just embarrassing, especially when he learned the truth. I literally felt so embarrassed by even reading it. Like - 😬

Buddy read with the cake eaters of RHR.

The ending felt a bit anti-climactic so feeling a bit meh but here goes. I loved the writing style. Page one and was sucked back in, not to mention I was emotionally invested in Tessa’s situation. How strong she is, what she has to cope with and what her future held in store. Unfortunately, I got bored. The first book was bullying, the second the bullying was replaced with jealousy and grovelling, this one was excuses and sex. Basketball is pretty much tossed on the backburner taking away the uniqueness and making it a high school cliché of plot twists until the cast comes off.

I think Tessa should’ve just picked Hayes and been done with it. Sloan doesn’t stand out much, I get the sense he’s supposed to be the comedic relief, Alec was sweet but it was pretty Ryan heavy and I got nothing from their relationship but sex. So yeah I’m anti-harem on this one.

Oh god the parents. That was weird and the father clearly needs help and on this front I think Tessa needs a wake up call. I’m happy with how things went with Tessa sports wise but other than that, it was a solid if not weak ending. I just can’t see it being a how I met your mother story to tell their kids when they grow up.

The series had its ups and downs, would’ve liked to see more basketball and less teen drama but I’m glad I read the series. Still hate Lake.

Tessa is back and it's her senior year of high school and this time she is more than determined not to let anyone stand in the way of her basketball career and dreams, especially not Lake. She is still recovering from her injury that Lake caused at camp, but at least this time she has the other Ballers in her court. This is her final year to shine as this is the time that scouts show up and if she wants to achieve her goal as being in the WNBA - she will have to up her game. This year though won't be easy as not only Lake but also his younger brother River are wanting a spot on the team and if you can recall - all three of them play the same position. Lake has also been pushed over the edge as he is not only in jeopardy of losing his position on the team, but his friends are all on Tessa's side and want nothing to do with him. That makes Lake very dangerous. I did like that Tessa's mother was moving on as she deserved to be happy. The one thing that I felt was a little weak and briefly touched on near the end of the book was Lake's reason for hating Tessa so much. It could have been touched on more throughout the books instead of this big reveal and lead-up and then a few pages later it was case closed and moving on and apologies.
Overall though if you love RH and basketball and Teen Romances, then you will enjoy The Ballers of Rockport High series as it finished on a great conclusion with the last book of the trilogy At the Buzzer.

The third book in The Ballers of Rockport High series picks up just a short time after what happened in the last one. Tessa’s wrist is broken, all the guys are on her side for once and she’s ready to take on Lake and her last year in high school, as well as achieving her goal of getting a starting position on the basketball team so she can be awarded a scholarship to State. This book is filled with sweet and hot moments. We get to know more about Hayes’s background, and this clues us in as to why he was the first one to take Tessa side against Lake. We get to see more of Ryan – who doesn’t in this book always disappears when somethings going on with Lake.

We are left wondering for most of the book why Lake hates Tessa so much, but we do figure it out. So you’ll have to read the book to find out why he hates her so much and if Lake gets his redemption. I will say one thing; I don’t dislike Lake as much as before – I think I dislike Tessa’s father more. We discover some things about her father’s past in the end of this book and that together with other things he did in the two previous books made me glad that Tessa’s mom “got rid of him” even though he was the one that got rid of her. I mean he’s a great dad and all, but I’m glad he and Tessa’s mom are not together anymore because I do think she deserves better.

I loved the ending, but I’m really hoping the author decides to make a college follow-up as I would love to read how the characters (including Lake) and their relationship continues to grow.

I’m kicking myself for not reading these books sooner. I admit that my reasoning was kind of petty. While I love the story hard, I have a hard time jumping on board with the terrible covers. It looks like a badly photoshopped head of Ariana Grande on a body that isn’t hers. It’s awkward looking and cheesy.

I’m glad I was able to to look past the whole cover thing! This was a great story. My only other hang up was the fact that I felt the author did too much “tell” and not enough “show”. I would have liked to experience some things that happened without it feeling like it was an afterthought. This happened throughout the trilogy. It’s the only reason I could rate the series a five star completely.

Overall, this is a story that won’t leave me anytime soon!

Rating: 2.5⭐️ for the whole series

This was one series that I was glad to be done with! Don’t get me wrong, the series was okay and overall I did kind of enjoy it. Seeing as I managed to finish the series. However, their was quite a lot of things that annoyed/frustrated/pissed me off throughout the whole series. Be warned there is a lot of WTF because that was how I felt.

**************Spoilers down below!**************

Tessa - For a girl who claimed basketball was her whole life and that it was her future, she sure didn’t make it seem that way with always going after the ballers and constantly hanging on them. Honestly, it was like she was Rhonda 2.0, except for the fact that the guys (minus Lake) actually wanted her.
She was stupid in forgiving her father so easily. I mean he abandoned them (which she complained about) and cheated on her mum, and starting a new family which didn’t include her at first. And yet, she easily forgave him. Pretty sure no-one in real life in that situation would forgive so easily.
Her stupidity and dumbass self when it came to anytime something happened with Ryan Linc. She would brush it off or some reason or excuse to always stick up for him. When she shouldn’t have been, which was annoying as hell.
For example when she finds out that Ryan is planning to throw a party at her dads house and doesn’t even have the audacity to tell her himself she gets mad. Yet when she and Dawn talk about it after, she sticks up for him. Like seriously wtf, either you’re mad at him or you’re not.
Which brings me to another thing, her feelings for Ryan seemed to make her blind to the messed up things her dad did. He had barely been dating Linc’s mum and already he purchased a house for them, one which was a few blocks away from her house. Wtf? And her reaction to it was what made me pissed as hell.
Sure love makes you blind and do/say stupid things, but you can’t be that dumb to act like all of that is normal. She would just seem to accept anything by telling herself Ryan deserved it because of his broken family life and poor childhood. It was like hello that isn’t your problem or fault about his childhood/life. It doesn’t mean jack! If that was the case, then why didn’t she try to help Hayes, who had the worse family life growing up.
It was like she seemed to forget that Ryan’s mother Leslie is the reason her family is broken.
Or that Ryan knew all along about the affair from the start and didn’t even tell her.
But that’s okay to her as long as Ryan is happy right?!
Seriously no girl in their right mind would ever forgive a guy like that, or stick up for him, or allow him to get away with everything he did to her, let alone hooking up with him constantly!
What’s worse is, when her mum offered to go with her to get her cast taken off, she claimed she saw no sense it in and told her mum no?! Seriously?! Yet it’s fine that Leslie is going?! Wtf?! Oh right if Leslie goes then Ryan is too. That made it seem like she is picking Ryan over her own mother. And the fact that she was always willing to give into having sex with Ryan, whenever he wanted it. It made it seem like that’s all their relationship ever was.

Ryan Linc - He pissed me off, seriously couldn’t stand him. One thing about him that made me laugh was Ryan wouldn’t accept a car from Tim, not without paying for it. Since he wanted to pave his own way. Yet he was happy to live in the house Tim bought for them to move into and pay for all the bills, dinners, flight tickets and whatnot? Like seriously wtf?! How does that even work? Not happy with a free car, but a free paid for house including bills and all that’s okay.
And the fact that just cause he grew up in a broken family, he was all to happy for his mum to be happy with Tim. Even if that meant at the cost of the girl (he supposedly loved) family.
Honestly him and his mother deserved nothing! Especially after her comment in the second book to Tessa about not blaming her mother for kissing Tim. It was like lady you’re the f*cking mistress, so you can’t say jacksh*t!
And the biggest one was how he would constantly just want to have sex with Tessa. Like hello there is more to a relationship than sex. Like mother, like son.

Tim ‘FREAKIN’ Dale - I hated him, how easily he threw away his own family with his manwhorish cheating ways. When he calmly tells Tessa about hooking up with Lake’s mum, as if it is no big deal that he cheated. Really WTF?! He claims they waited forever to conceive Tess, yet he cheated while that happened?! And his reasoning behind it “for comfort and that she was carefree unlike the stress back at home” like WTF?! That’s your justification?! Really?! Your wife was going through the same thing, yet she didn’t feel the need to cheat. And then the fact that he would do things that made it seem like he didn’t care about his daughter or even that she didn’t exist. Like telling Ryan and Leslie things before even telling Tessa. And the biggest one of all, not bothering to keep in contact with Tessa (in the beginning) and giving preference to his affair (with Leslie) and Ryan. And then when he would apologise for his mistakes, stupidly Tessa would easily forgive him.
On top of that, when Tessa had to get her cast off and her mother couldn’t come, he freaking decided to invite Ryan and his mother. Seriously WTF?! Do they really need to fly down for something like that?! It’s not like it is a basketball game they are going to, that they all need to be there for.

Hayes - All I can say is he deserved so much more and so much better than Tessa!

Alec - Don’t have much to say about him really.

Sloan - Don’t really have much to say about him either.

Lake - I’m sorry, but he didn’t deserve sympathy at all for everything he did, regardless of him trying to commit suicide. And the fact that his excuse was because he was holding onto a notion made in talk and no proof that he did what he did. I’m sorry but that is seriously some f*cked up sh*t!

Honestly by the end of this series, I hated Tessa for her stupidity of accepting everything her dad did for Ryan and his mum because of her feelings for Ryan.
Her stupidity for not realising if she never got involved with the ballers (in the first place), she would have never had to go through all this drama in the first place.
Accepting and forgiving all the guys so easily (minus Hayes), after everything they did to her.
She didn’t deserve Alec, Sloan and especially Hayes.
Her and Ryan both deserved to had nothing by the end of the book. They both weren’t worthy of anything.
I hated Ryan since the first book, so that didn’t change.
Tim and his manwhorish ways.
Lake for being a douche.
And Leslie for being a whore and not caring whose family she broke up. Honestly she seemed like a gold digger.
Seriously I have never had a book make me so mad and frustrated like this series did!
The only good thing in my opinion of this series was Dawn, Tessa’s mother and Hayes. And Alec maybe a little.

It's hard to say goodbye. 😍😍😭

I loved every minute of this series. The ups and downs, the dark, the hurt, the sexy and the happy moments. I'm so glad everything came together in the end. I had happy tears, it was beautiful. I'm sad to goodbye but I definitely enjoyed my time with these characters.

I'm going to do my absolute best not to give any spoilers in this review. That's going to be a bit hard b/c everyone knows where I stand on that douche canoe Lake. So this may be a little shorter than my other two reviews for this series. That in NO WAY reflects on my feelings for this book. I absolutely loved it just as much as the other two.

Ok, so we left Foul Line in a horrible way. Now it's time for senior year to start. Tessa is still dealing with her medical issues from that cringe worthy ending in book two. At least we have The Ballers to start senior year with. Just so you know, when I refer to The Ballers that is everyone except Lake. He no longer gets that title for me. So anyway, Senior year. Now since Tessa was robbed the right to play pretty much all of the previous year with all the stupid drama, she is not guaranteed a spot on the team this year. That means she has to try out and make it all over again. No problem right? Except the whole shooting arm in a cast thing. So that's one area of drama we have going on.

We of course have the whole Lake thing. The guys have made their choice. Can they really walk away from a lifetime of friendship though? And Lake is still on the team. Technically he's still a baller for the school and therefor he has responsibilities that involve the other guys. Can they put aside their differences and work together without causing more harm to Tessa? Obviously E.M.'s fans are torn in two on the whole Lake issue. I personally don't see how anyone up to this point could possibly want him to end up with Tessa. That's just me though and there are more than a couple people who feel opposite of me. I'm not going to tell you which side wins. What I will say is that I think no matter what side you fall on, you will be happy with the ending. We do learn what Lake's deal is. Why he hates Tessa so much. And yea, that's really all I can say on that.

Now the other guys, having FINALLY come to their damn senses, are all about Tessa Dale. Thank freaking goodness. And man do we get some intense times with them. I have to say though, Hayes still has my heart the most. He will forever be my favorite and there's just no changing that. The other guys aren't far behind and they all have their own special moments where you love them. Now we do have a little drama here and there but that's what makes it a good book right?

Tessa also has to deal with the fact that her father and Ryan's mom are a big thing. They are living together. That means she and Ryan kinda live together if she stays with her dad. Awkward much?? But it also means that Tessa gets to spend more time with her dad with him being right down the street. Can she and her dad repair the relationship that was torn apart in the previous books?

Ok I did my best to give you a rundown without spoiling anything for you. I can't really scream my love for this book like I have the other two b/c the things I would say will give it all away. BUT I DO LOVE THIS FUCKING BOOK!! I love the whole series. I'm so sad that these characters will be leaving us. Still my favorite series this year. I'm so incredibly glad that E.M. gave us these characters and this story. As sad as I am to see them go, I loved it all and now I'm ready for whatever brilliantness she brings us next.

-Sighs- I feel so many emotions coursing through me as I get ready to review this book. I am giving this whole trilogy 4 stars as I genuinely enjoyed the male characters, along with Tess the female protagonist, even Lake the antagonist.

But what really pissed me off was honestly Tess’s father. He is just a cheater and honestly I understand everyone makes mistakes, but I am simply done with him. At first he wasn’t there for Tess when she was bullied and alone, and then he was just annoying. On top of that he cheated on Tess’s mom twice. Just because you are rich and you help out children, doesn’t mean you can just fuck around. I wonder if he thought If his ex wife was stressed, would she sleep around? When he and Tess’s mother was trying to get pregnant, he cheated on her. 18 years later he cheats on her again.

I just did not enjoy the father, no matter how much the author tried to portray him as a good guy. Honestly I enjoyed the other characters, especially Hayes, my Teddy Bear. He and Sloane are my favorite, though I still love Alec and Ryan.

If you don’t mind the father being annoying, I think you will truly enjoy this trilogy, as this reverse harem has the normal plot line like other bullying ones, yet it has its own unique story and I love the idea of it revolving around sports, rather than academics. It’s a nice change.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

OMG this is one fantabulous conclusion to this amazing trilogy!! We pick with Tessa still in a cast hoping to heal in time for tryouts. Things are so much better with her and the Ballers though Lake is still causing all sorts of problems. Things really ramp up as the story progresses and we learn so much stuff that puts it all in perspective. A perfect conclusion to an amazing trilogy that is truly a must read!! I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars. I must say I am really hoping for a spin-off series of their State years but am completely happy if this is where it ends.

In the conclusion of the Ballers of Rockford High, I definitely came to realize why I love bully romances like At the Buzzer by EM Moore. To read the tension and angst among the characters it's like reading a deeper passion, not of love but for control and dominance as well as how deep the feelings of hatred one may be trying to control within themselves. And EM Moore does not disappoint.

Quintessa/Tessa comes back after her major injury, caused by her biggest bully ,Lake , in book two, with her own vengeance. "I knew I wasn’t just there for basketball. I was there for them. For Ryan. For their team. I didn’t know how I was supposed to fit in, but I knew I was. I understand it all now. And I know that I love every single one of them. Hayes. Alec. Sloan. Ryan. My forever starting lineup. They’re all I need."

Tessa was ready to take control back of her life and now has the backing of her sexy Ballers to do it. She only had a short time to get her wrist back in working order to push through on her dreams. It was definitely a mental battle as well as a physical one, but her boys were there for her to help her. "That would be the biggest travesty in all this. Not that one jerk broke my wrist, but that I let him break me. All of me". Tessa was going to have to push herself to come out unbroken, but Lake was not done with Tessa and would definitely keep trying to break her right up until the buzzer.

As within this series, the passion that Tessa feels for the Ballers increases within each book, and book 3 is definitely HOT! All 4 boys have continued their pursuit of a relationship with Tessa and have taken their relationships as far physically that one can. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that only mature readers read because the passion is definitely X-rated, but done so not as teens looking for release, but with feelings and emotions that show growth and maturity.

"Nothing could’ve beaten us this year unless it was ourselves, but we took care of that on our own. We mended our bonds, we strengthened our minds. We’re playing as one."

Final book in the series answered a whole lot of my questions, and as usual, I fell in love with all the characters that had made me angry. Even Lake.
I would love to see them all at college together, but as the same time im satisfied that they have had their happy ending.
I smashed this series out in a day and a half, and im so glad that I did!

I forced myself to stay awake and read the conclusion! I hated someone so deeply coming into this book an left wishing they could have had that dynamic earlier than the ending. 💜 Id love time know how college is going for Tessa!

Honestly, I did not like these books, it had potential and I thought it would get better but...it really didnt.
Here is the thing, bullying makes me really angry, I cannot accept, so when I read all the nasty and awful things those 5 boys are doing to Tessa, the main character, I got mad but then her own behavior is so diminishing that she is in fact the baller skank and should not be offended by that.
Then comes book 2 and the author tries to find a way to justify those boys behavior.
On book 3, they decided to share her, sexually at the age of 17, and she along with hers and theirs families are ok.
Really?! One night sex with Ryan, the next with Alec and on on and on.
Yeah, nope.
At least I read it for free otherwise I would fight to return them all.

Senior year. Tessa's last chance to make her mark on the high school hardwood and she has a broken wrist. Lake hurt her. Now she just has to wait and see if it will heal in time for her to play the season.

While I had issues with the first two books, there's no denying that I enjoyed them. They made me frustrated, sometimes even angry but they were entertaining. I looked forward to the Ballers senior season. This book disappointed. It was rushed. Serious storylines were glossed over. Tessa was too accommodating. Forgive dad for his selfish thoughtlessness. Get over Lake's attempt to end her basketball playing. I wasn't satisfied with Lake's reason for hating Tessa. Immature at best, melodramatic at worst. His drug use and the injury he caused Tessa didn't result in the consequences that they should have. And Tessa's dad NEVER showed any character growth. I wasn't a fan of him from the first moment even though it was expected of the reader to hold him up as a celebrity idol. He was an inconsiderate father, a selfish man, and just not likable. Yet Tessa forgave him, made excuses for him, and kept him on a pedestal. His storyline brought down the entire series for me. With a little more attention to character growth and more detail to consequences and feelings, this would have been better for me.

Bruuuuuuuuuh! This story took a wild turn. So Lake has no chill, right. His mind has vacated the building and he is seriously delusional. I’m a little irritated this took three books for us to find out why he was so hateful towards Tessa. I mean, the pill popping was understandable up to a point but if the other boys were really his friends they would have done something before it got that far.

It was like it took Tessa getting hurt for them to come together and even then they went about it the wrong way. I’m not sure they were ever true friends. More like baasketball buddies with the way they shut him out. Bad form on them. And the ending was left a bit open ended which I found super annoying.

Tessa didn’t really grow that much in this one, it was more of the same with her resolve to be a basketball player with a more roamnce driven theme. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some romance but for some reason I was more focused on her basketball goals than the romance parts. Anyway, I’m glad I finished the series. Maybe I’ll read more from this author.
