I loved this a lot more than I thought I would. I loved the fl's character and the idea that no one is so evil you can't understand how they got the way they did, and potentially help them avoid evil.

I also thought it was very interesting the moral the the author is trying to make about altruism - how things that appear "morally right" can actually be bad for people. Either it removes their free will, self reliance, or appreciation for the effort it takes. The author seems to be a proponent of invisible hand and the power of commercialism and money for good. I think the author makes a very solid and convincing argument for this, though I heavily disagree.

The downside of invisible hand is that companies that focus on making money are not incentivized to contribute to things that might not generate great profit but would be for the long term or general good.

The ending felt a bit confusing, though that might be due to how complex it is to translate. I do like the twists in the story and how many loose ends get tied up. I don't like how many secondary ml there were in the story and how everyone magically falls for the FL.

This time loop reincarnation tale is a bit of a mixed bag. Our protagonist has a lot of plot armor and her nature tends to flex to fit the current needs of the story. She is traumatized and I want to respect that but her self doubt inner monologue often doesn't match to her behaviors. Almost everyone loves her immediately in this life as well so it is hard to understand quite what went wrong in the other timelines. The writing will often develop a good emotional arc or moment (say reuniting with her mother or exposing an imperial secret) but then suddenly dump ten new characters on top of readers preventing them from enjoying that resolution. I also struggled with the lisp/baby talk that permeated this tale. It's not all bad. There is some very complicated world development involving 72 creatures with special powers and dueling moral philosophies. It's alluring and more intricate than the typical adopted princess tropes and the main thrust is not her romantic relationships although they appear. I can see why breaking the standard formula has given this one a fan base. In its native language it probably comes off a bit smoother as well. Still, because of the spliced ideas, uneven pacing, and internal contradictions although I pushed through the lengthy volumes I was not always enjoying the journey.
