If you are new to knitting, don't read this

an experienced knitter, i was going to buy it for a friend, but very soon decided not to. A very badly written book. I think it started off in a another language and has Google translation to English. It refers to stitches as circles, upsurge instead of increase to name a couple of anomalies. My pet hate of misspelling purl as pearl is all the way through. I was fortunate enough to have this on kindle unlimited so did not waste any money. So not impressed.

Nice beginner’s guide with illustrations

I learned to crochet when I was a young child. I’ve always wanted to knit. Some say it’s hard to learn one of these crafts if you already know it’s counterpart. This was an easy to understand, illustrated, quick read that provides the basic techniques and a few patterns to try!

I love this book! This is an easy to do illustration included guide. It only took me two tries to get the knife down. The author includes a chapter on most common mistakes this was the most helpful.
