I really liked this book. It said it was updated for a more contemporary audience, but it still felt a little dated in the examples. But not distractedly so.
The whole book is about how to respond to your inner "judge", or your negative self-talk. I found being able to label my drivers and think about where those are coming from, as well as the guidance for going through 5 questions about how I feel and how "helpful" whatever inner dialog I'm having really is, will be quite challenging (in a good way) for me.
I listened to the audio book and it was great, although a little funny at times because the woman would do voices for the example clients. I ended up picking up a physical copy of the book to be able to pull out action steps a little bit better.
