Kristy, Mary Anne, Claudia, Stacey, and Dawn are The Baby-sitters Club! Whatever comes up -- cranky toddlers, huge dogs, scary neighbors, prank calls -- you can count on them to save the day.
Raina Telgemeier, using the signature style featured in her acclaimed graphic novels Smile and Sisters, perfectly captures all the drama and humor of the original novels by Ann M. Martin!
I finished the books by the hour. They were so addicting. I kind of feel bad since it takes us an hour to read it and weeks for them to produce it. I try to soak up as much of the art displayed as possible. It really inspired me to do things. Random things. I suggest this for a lazy summer day
They’re cool books. I like how the writer explains the books. The drawings are nice. They keep you on the edge of your seat. I’ve read all seven of the babysitters club. The seventh one was my favorite. The love the drama. It’s just a good comic book and it only takes about 2 to 3 hours to finish.
I think that the book is very relaxing and is going tell you about their baby sitting. I recommend reading this book because it will tell you a big story and also if you like reading graphic novels you should read The Baby-Sitters Club.
man this book is good i have not read the og books but i'm trying out the graphic novel and the first book is good i like how kristy comes up with a idea to do a babysitting servies Spoiler she gets the idea when her mum starts calling family freinds and stuff to babysit for david michael kristy's brother thats when kristy starts chocking on a pizza because shes got a idea to start a babysitter comany or club anyway kristy was a ok charter i like how shes loves sports and wheres a cap she can also be a bit bossy how do i know this i'v watched the netflix show before i read the graphic novel now BIG SPOILER At the start of the book kristys sweating because its warm and hot outside basically 3 seconds later the school bell riings and she says hooray !! and gets told of by her teacher then later on she starts talking to her freind mary anne etc etc then she suddenly reambers that she has to babysit davied michael then we see davied michael crying and then the funny part is that hes angry at her for loccking him out then kristy just says its bnest to ignore him when hes like this thats when we get introduced to her older brothers sam and charlie there both like rodrick forom diary of a wimpy kid anyway i like how claudia the other member of the babysitter club is artsic also mary anne is shy and stacys good at maths basically common personalilitys why does kristy hate her stepdad so much like your dad literally left you anyway later on in the book kristy's angry and stacy for lying to her about going to new york of course the reason she lied SPOLIER is because she has diabietes so they have this agurment then at the end kristy learns to be less bossy then they have a pizza partyat the end also kristy has a BIG MOUTH just saying going to read the 2nd book and reaview that
I usually do books one-by-one, but my son and I have enjoyed this series so much that I just wanted to come on here and really praise them. These books follow a central character, really go into emotional depth and dealing with your feelings about these, and really cover all the bases of growing up. I have a lot of beef with graphic novels being too shallow, but somehow these books always hit the mark for me. Maybe some of that is nostalgia, but a lot of it is just enjoyment of the story. And by the way, if they can keep a 10yo boy coming back for more, you know they pack a punch. We both love this series and I highly recommend them for anyone with middle-school age kids.
What I think about this book is how interesting it is and how funny it would be to do anything that they are doing like the Arthur and it has lots of drama which I love to hear about and it is very funny and it can be very sad and dispersing but it is what it is and I really love this book, and it is also very cool cause their is somethings that I would love to do.
These series are pretty close to the best. Oh wait! They are THE BEST. This was a great book about friendship, sometimes being left out and the becoming of the BSC (Baby sitters club) These smart girls make an impact on people’s lives and they aren’t afraid to tell the world who they were what needed to change. This is highly recommend for all ages
I thought it was very fun. And I think if people possibly want to read comics or graphic novels then they should start of with Baby Sitters Club. My favorite one was Mary Anne saves the day because you can learn about how you should make up with your BFF's when you are fighting.
I think this books are interesting to me. Raina Telgemeier are very good author. She wrote several interesting book. She's AMAZING AUTHOR!!!! It's very good books. I love read"The Baby-Sitter Club" book almost everyday!
The Babysitter's Club books are amazing! Raina Telgemeier did an amazing job making the whole book sound realistic! I read these books when I was in 4th grade and they made me want to become a babysitter as a summer job to get money to save and to have fun with kids!
I absolutely love these books. I've read all of the graphic novels. I have not read the new on yet and do not know if I will, but they were so good. I also have not read the original ones, but it still tells the story.
One of the best comics I have read, it has a clear life lesson in each books and I love that the same characters are used in all the series, and we get perspectives of different characters in each book.
This series by this particular artist is what introduced me to The Baby-sitters Club. I love Raina's artwork and how beautifully this was drawn. I always reread this series as it's one of my favorites!
The baby sitters club is a cute story about 4 girls who form a club of baby sitters. Their are 4 books in the series each one focuses on a different girl. It is a nice read.
