Destiny: I made a mistake and now I’m paying for it. I borrowed money from the MC to save my mom. Now I have to spend the rest of my life taking off clothes for strangers. Each time I dance, a piece of my soul dies with me. Just when I think I won’t survive this place, he arrives. Devil. Vice-President of the Fallen Saints MC. He struck a dirty bargain and now I belong to him. Hell will freeze over before I surrender my body and heart to a criminal like him.
Devil: The moment she appeared on stage, I became obsessed. Destiny’s trouble. She’s way too young for me but I couldn’t leave an angel like her in that shithole. Destiny thinks I’ll discard her once I no longer have any use for her. She’s wrong. I’ve ridden solo my entire life but I’ve changed my mind. Destiny’s not just my plaything. I intend to make her my old lady.
Devils making a deal with his club and as he's in their territory he spots Destiny dancing at a strip club, already feeling possessive of her he gets a deal from other Prez guns and he gets Destiny. As for Des she only owes that MC money because her mother unpaid hospital bills kept building up.
Now shes Devils girls their relationship is slow at first since she doesn't know what to do. Devils never forces himself on anyone so he'll make her a deal, but they also gotta deal with Skulls crazy brother who wants her for his own.

Short but sweet. I devoured Devil's Destiny in less than an hour, which I absolutely adored! There are a few discrepancies I noticed here, namely the part where Destiny is still skeptical about the Devil's motives one day, and then falls head over heels the next. I think their romance fell short. I hope it kind of gets longer to develop a great romance. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed it. There's an age gap, a dominating alpha, and HEA!
As Vice President of the Fallen Saints MC, Devil could – and did – have any woman, any time he wanted. Rules never applied to him. But while in the middle of negotiating a deal with another MC Devil lays eyes on Destiny and instantly something different happened, Devil found himself burning for her as no other. Unable to resist, he agrees when she’s offered to sweeten the pot. Will Devil regret his bargain?
Fun and sexy, I found this to be a deliciously hot short story. While the plot isn’t anything intriguing or new, I really enjoyed Devil’s strong and confidant personality. And Destiny was a vulnerable heroine who I easily related to and I adored her resilience. Having borrowed money she knew she’d struggle to repay she didn’t cave in when the situation turned nasty on her, she held her spirit and strength close to her and continued to always look for a way out, an opportunity. This fire inside her was what first drew Devil and admittedly it’s the main aspect of Destiny’s character I really related to and loved. The chemistry between them smouldered from the beginning but I also really appreciated how the author didn’t stint on the “getting to know you” time between our two main characters. This helped make the whole story – the romance and sex in particular – feel a lot more realistic and relatable to me.
I really enjoyed how the author managed to balance the usual darker, slight edginess of a usual MC story with hope and some light. Often I find MC stories a bit too dangerous or violent for my personal tastes but I found this story really balanced well between the grittier aspects of real life – poor decisions, imperfect families and facing realities – with the more romantic hope that with trust and the right people life can be a dream and beautiful. I really enjoyed the slow dance between Devil and Destiny and how they came not only to know each other but trust and deeply love one another. The slow, steady building of their relationship was a real pleasure to watch unfold and I know I’ll enjoy this book again in the future.
The first in a new MC series I’ll be keeping an eye out for future installments and can strongly recommend this story to others, particularly those who often don’t enjoy the darker or more violent MC romances.
I read this a couple of years ago but didn’t finish but I was having a bit of a review of some older books to see if I missed any gems. This wasn’t a gem!
It might have been good had it been longer, I will caveat this that I don’t like shorter stories, just don’t understand the point, you can never get into the detail of a story. But this book was like wham the hero saw the heroine, bam let’s get married.
I just felt like I need to understand more of why they liked each other, what kind of person Devil was anything about the club other than basic info. It all just fell flat for me.
It was probs be a 1.5 stars for me, which is harsh but honestly it wasn’t available of KU so I paid for this and it was barely a couple of hours to read.
I like this author but I wouldn't read or pay for the rest of the series based on this book. There really isn't much story and the characters are not very interesting. Same thoughts and lines repeated. Could have been a good story but not much store as is.
Because we knew it wasn't a long story, it was a given the story would go fast. I also expected it to not be real plausible. A quick MC read where they live HEA. But sometimes you just have to think... Seriously??
Boy sees girl pole dancing, boy knows right then this is the woman for him (what?), boy rescues her and takes her to her home, they spend the night, next morning he kills a man for her, they ride off into the sunset at his club. The end. Oh, and the man that was killed, the brother of President of MC he rescued her from. They just toss the dead man in the back of the truck, drive to their territory to bury him, and call it a day. No questions or suspicions from the other MC. They assumed he just randomly left, never to return. This from one of the scariest MCs? Not just a member of the club, the president's brother.
Now the main man, he's VP of his MC club. He is supposed to be tough and hard, his club is harsh and rules the town and police. And yet he acts like some love struck child. He even says this isn't him, being all soft and caring about a woman. He cares so much, he wants her to be his Old Lady, decided that right off the bat. She on the other hand doesn't know what to do. (Maybe because they met like 5 hours ago??) They sleep on it, next morning she is head over heels.
Inconsistencies drove me crazy. *She asked him to spend the night. Shortly after that she is all about how he offered to stay and she couldn't turn that away. *Epilogue, one year later...they decided no more birth control right after marriage. When she ends up pregnant, she's worried he may not want this. (I'm sorry, but what??) What does stopping birth control mean? She also comments it wasn't a surprise he was able to get her pregnant because they have sex like every day. This isn't the next month or even two months after stopping birth control. It. Is. One. Year. Later.
So, if you are ready for fast read, like books about MCs, expect and don't mind mistakes, then here you go.
CUTE, QUICKY POSSESSIVE ALPHA MC ROMANCE. Im not a typical fan of the MC troupe but something about this one just picked up on my radar and I'm glad because I devoured it. The characters were clicked like two pieces of a puzzle.
DEVIL meets the love of his life while negotiating business with an 'acquaintance', and he's the typical MC alpha male character who plays hard and fucks hard. The moment he laid eyes on Destiny, he knew that she's going to be his old lady. You can imagine the usual stuff of him having any woman he wants, none were ever special UNTIL now. There's nothing more to say about his character, I mean if you like to read alpha-possessive males who respects their women and aren't totally misogynistic, yet your inner girl is squealing with glee? Think no more.
DESTINY is a strong girl from the wrong side of the tracks. Her mom was a whore, and you can imagine how that path of life has turned out. After being accosted by staggering medical bills prior to her mother's death, Destiny made the wrong decision to borrow money from Skull, the MC leader in charge of the town. Needless to say, she got roped into stripping to pay her debts and the fucker had zero qualms about bartering her off to Devil for guns. Destiny's pretty much putty in Devil's hands but she has enough sense to be wary of him, but she's definitely no damsel in distress.
OVERALL if you like the AGE GAP romances, then this is up your alley. Also, I'm looking forward to Saint's story or maybe Bonnie and Hawke's, these characters seem like they'll have something interesting to say.
Destiny is forced to borrow money from her local MC to pay her mom's hospital bills, but when she's unable to pay it back, Skull forces her to strip in his club to repay her loan. She knows at this rate she'll be stripping there for a long time. But when a stranger arrives at the club, vice president of a rival gang, Skull makes a deal with him and now Destiny belongs to Devil. She'll never trust another biker and she's determined to escape, but first she needs his protection. Devil's always been a loner, never one to settle down, but with one look at Destiny, he wants to make her his old lady. But first he'll have to convince her... I didn't realize this book was so short. I'm not a fan of insta-love, and both character are convinced they're in love within a day. Yikes! Also this book could use some more editing. There were words missing from sentences, scenes contradicting what was said in previous chapters, misspellings, etc. Just an ok read for me. I received an advance reader copy of this book. The views and opinions expressed in this review are completely my own and given voluntarily.
Devil's destiny by Winter Sloane. Fallen Saints MC Book 1. Destiny thinks I’ll discard her once I no longer have any use for her. She’s wrong. I’ve ridden solo my entire life but I’ve changed my mind. Destiny’s not just my plaything. I intend to make her my old lady. A brilliant read. Read in one sitting. I loved Devil and Destiny. I can't wait for next book . 5*.
Devil’s Destiny is a really quick read with characters that have some instant chemistry. It is book one in the Fallen Saints series by Winter Sloane and focuses on the characters Destiny and Devil. Destiny is a stripper who is working off a debt to save her mother. Unbeknownst to her, Devil the Vice President of the Fallen Saints MC is given Destiny as a form of payment and straight away he is obsessed with the beautiful and slightly innocent Destiny.
This is a really fast paced story where there is some instant attraction, and the development of the relationship is really quick with a lot of drama thrown into the mix and some sexy scenes to jazz it up. If you like older men/younger women troupes with some MC drama thrown into the mix then this is one for you.
ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊
A big thank you to NetGalley and Evernight Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is a very short book-I believe around 80 pages. This is the beginning of a new series, so hopefully there will be more development in future books. I don't usually read MC books, but I am trying new things, so here I am. This is so outside of my realm, that I just can't imagine being in these type situations, so for me it was all hard to believe. For Devil, it was instalove, and for Destiny, I think he was the better of two evils. I didn't see much character development for especially Destiny. What does she want out of life? Does she have any goals? For me, this was just okay, and I can't imagine ever being so nonchalant over killing someone. Sort of expensive for an 80 page book.
This short story packs a punch! Quick, action packed and a great start to the series. Destiny is in a bind. Dancing for an MC because of a debt owed is like selling her soul to the devil. That is until Devil actually comes in. The minute he sees her, he knows she is meant for him. The age gap doesn't matter. But will she go to him? And what will the consequences be? Fast paced, passionate and a great introduction to the Fallen Saints, I loved this novella.
Autumn Hollis brought it all to life. She has a great voice, able to switch easily between characters and match the sound to the personality. I found her performance made the listen and I will be looking for more from her.
I enjoy the writing of Ms. Sloane whose heroes are brash and arrogant, but when they decide a woman is theirs there is no stopping them. The storyline grabbed me from the beginning and I had to turn every page so I can discover the ending. It is an excellent beginning to a promising series. I found the characters interesting within the story and I can see the stories of the other members will be as interesting as Devil and his Destiny. lets start from the begining cover= amazing title= fantastic description= good length= 75 pages.. eek nervous cost= 4$..what?? romance=ehhh writing=ehhh instalove=on steroids
this story takes place in one day.. and then one year later. a man meets a strippa and then less than 12 hours later claims her, proposes, kills a man and is married to her. Then she is best friends with everyone and they have a baby.. what.. this book was missing the story and the writing was very stilted for me.. now if you love the book yay.. for me.. it was a flop
Loved the narration of Autumn Hollis, she bought the steam, characters and story together.
This is a short listen, Destiny had to become a dancer at the Pink Canary club owned by the Skulls, as she owned them money and it was the only way of paying them back. Devil Vice president of the Fallen Saints is in town , to make a deal with the Skulls and after seeing Destiny he makes her part of the deal.
We have steam, action and murder all in a short/fast listen,
this is the first time I have listened/read from this author. I did find this story a little short. the insta love is hard to pull off especially in such a short time frame. I think had the characters had more time to develop this story would of been a much better listen. the characters themselves were interesting and do suck you in to try to get to know them in this story.
This was a very short read. There is very little plot and is more an insta-love book. I cant say I am a fan of how they treat women. There is a lot of posturing and misogyny but that is to be expected with these types of characters.
I didn't particularly enjoy the book and that has to do with a lack of connection with the characters because of the books short length.
I received an arc of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Short insta love story between Devil and Destiny. The plot itself was good I liked the MCs well enough. It would have been nice if it was a tad longer and certain things were fleshed out a little more. From a writting perspective there was a lot of repetitiveness which for a story this short was a little annoying.
Destiny finds herself in a bind and taking of her clothes for strangers is how she's going to get herself out of it. Until a sexy, scary, leather wearing knight named Devil walks in and saves her. But, is he really saving her or is he just getting her out of one situation only to put her into another? Loved Devil and Destiny's story! Winter is fast becoming a go to author for me.
3.5 stars. The story of Devil and Destiny is what I like to read, forced into stripping because of a debt and her hero comes along to the rescue, age gap, but there was so much repetition of their names in one paragraph throughout the book that it became to much. It was fast paced with instant love and marriage.
Well, this obviously wasn't a literary homerun. It's just a basic age gap trope with insta-love on the first page. I really don't care for this. The couple is pretty shallow and the dialog a little amateurish. Not my cup of tea.
Devil's Destiny, is fast insta love MC story. In theory it ticked all the boxes for me, action, drama, interesting characters, hot attraction & sex....but it was a bit too short for my liking
The story was kind of boring. Book needs to be edited beyond your basic spell check. For the price being charged it needs to be longer. Story stopped at 86% and the ending was rushed. All and all it was just okay.
Destiny borrowed money from an MC to save her mom and now she is stripping to pay off her debt. Devil is the VP of the Fallen Saints MC and when he sees Destiny, he knows that she is his. This is a quick read with plenty of drama and sizzling chemistry. I liked it.
Good read, needs a little bit more editing bit it doesn't take away from the story. For the price I paid, I would've love it to be more than 64 pages, but I still like the book.
