In What’s Your Moonshot? trend and innovation strategist John Sanei explains how to ask the bigger, bolder, more courageous questions that will help you thrive – rather than merely survive – in our exponentially changing times. With a future-focused victor mindset, Sanei decodes the mega-trends that are reshaping human behaviour and the way we do business – not to mention, the way we live our lives. He then explains how to innovate your business with the ultimate aim of becoming the new type of billionaire: someone who positively affects billions of people. As the foundations of modern economies – transportation, communication and energy – start becoming free or virtually free, massive transformative ideas can now be driven by individual ambition and determination. No longer the sole domain of nations and global organisations, these pioneering, game-changing missions – or Moonshots – are defined by thinking big to drive change and shape the future. So the real question is: WHAT’S YOUR MOONSHOT?
I got all the insight I required from the first three and a bit chapters in the book. Although still enjoyable reading the last part of this book did not have great value to me. Parts of this book have some overlap connection with Rich Mulholland’s Legacide for me.
I found this book exceptionally informative on several topics concerning personal and professional growth. I thoroughly enjoyed that each chapter and subsection was further explained by the use of popular examples - be it strategies implored by Apple, Tesla or Microsoft. It's definitely a very good read for anyone - like myself - who doesn't understand business on an intuitive level and needs it to be broken down into simple and understandable terms. I would've awarded this book four stars, but I believe it lacks editing and grammatical/syntactical attention. Overall, however, it left a very good impression on me and I would definitely recommend it!
An interesting book filled with practical facts and personal examples. The author makes excellent points throughout the book and substantiates them with personal and practical examples.
Excellent book for business owners or entrepreneurs looking for a way to future-proof their businesses in these rapidly changing times.
There is some valuable insights here to be had. I liked two main themes, firstly the change of mindset from victim to victor and second the focus on the moonshot - how to get there.
Great book in the sense that’s it actionable, thought provoking with future thoughts and trends. Would of been a 5 star but the first half wasn’t stimulating enough
I am such a fan.. Love his work.. Never ever too late to find out what your moonshot is. A few major companies that should have read this book before Corona virus.
