No other woman has ever made him feel this way. The problem? She’s trying to steal more than his heart.
This is the opportunity Hannah Miller has been waiting for. The once-in-a-lifetime chance to make her name known as an art dealer by selling the collection in a late film star’s million-dollar estate. It would catapult her career in ways not often found in the tiny town of Silver Plum... if the bereaved son would stop fighting her every step of the way.
Being the only child of a legendary movie star wasn’t easy on August Bailey. Now, he treasures nothing more than a quiet life tinkering around the mansion his mother left him—far away from the limelight. Yet when the beautifully inquisitive Hannah traipses onto his property, he fears she will destroy his peace by uncovering the secret hidden there.
Can August protect his earth-shattering truth without pushing Hannah away? Or will he risk it all by letting her into his guarded heart?
A happily-ever-after comes to Silver Plum in this sweet, small-town, sizzling, closed door romance!
Deb Goodman’s obsession with the written word started at age three, when she realized the old-timey newsprint wallpaper in her family’s bathroom had actual words on it. She yearned to know what it said, but by the time she learned to read, the wallpaper had been replaced with something else—boring, non-worded wallpaper—and to this day she still doesn’t know.
Being raised in a small town in Idaho (like, less-than-500-people small), meant that Deb learned early on the importance of home-grown roots, communities that feel like family, and the benefits of a good, hearty potato. Now, she and her husband and kids live in Utah. They love sports, music, and doing slightly insulting, pretend voices for their little dog, Mavis.
Deb writes funny, no-spice romance where there’s always a small town and a big family. Writing lovey dovey books comes naturally to Deb since, to her, there’s nothing better than reading and writing about how two people fall in love.

A Slow Burn Love - This is a mesmerizing story written about Hannah’s high-school grudge against August, which is reignited in adulthood, but after working closely together and getting to know each other better, realising it was based on misconceptions. Deb Goodman didn’t just give us romance with the story, she will actually take you on August and Hannah’s journey of personal growth, opening up their hearts and teaching each other about love and trust. The compelling storyline and well crafted lives of the characters, will make it well worth your time to read the book. I am really looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
I received a copy of this ARC and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I can’t tell you in words how much I loved loved your story, I wasn’t sure at first but as I continue to read it I was enter-twine into The story of the Love of Liam for poor Tory, so rigid, so ready to spend her life without love. It broke my heart and I wanted to give her a path on her head, wake up girl, you have the perfect guy in front of you, I was hooked. I received an ARC and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
An amazing sweet fun heartwarming enemies to lovers romance story. This engaging storyline has forgiveness, hurt, guilt healing, vulnerability, flaws, a secret, and love as these two opposites overcome to a HEA. The characters are interesting and well develop in a clean wholesome story. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC.
Excellent book! I loved this book from the start! A book holds my attention when there's a little angst and mystery as a relationship develops. It's a good read, has wonderful characters, and is clean and wholesome!
Love Silver Plum and its characters. Getting to know Hannah and August and all the emotions they go through. Little bit of everything for these opposites, add in a tad of mystery and you have this clean learn new things story.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters are well depicted, likable, and realistic. The story gives us secrets, contention, and a sweet romance that grows between former enemies. I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.
Love Between Enemies is a sweet, heartwarming, enemies to lovers romance. With sparkling, angst filled characters Hannah and August, I was sucked into this story from the beginning. I enjoyed their friends to loves romance despite its very twisted path. I highly recommend this book. I could not put it down.
I started this series on the third book on accident so started back from the beginning and this is the second one! So will jump to the fourth one next. This series (like her others) is just so sweet and a nice reset from some of the thrillers I read. Not to mention for this book, enemies to lovers is one of my favorite romance tropes and it was great to watch this love story unfold. It also has a nice little twist in there too that I didn’t see coming! As always, highly recommend this author and her clean romance novels 💞
