When Emery told me that more Dank was coming, I was a little scared, but let's go!
This story is about Dank's father. More like the origins of evil and how they can greatly affect someone who doesn't know any better. (Because while I'm scared shitless of clowns, I really believe that Dank doesn't know any better.)
We get to follow along with him (Dank) as he reads his father's journal and watch as the story unfolds in the most unsettling of ways. It left me feeling a little sad but with a better understanding of the cruel hand in life that Dank was dealt.
I'm honestly hoping for another installment!

Oh poor inbred bumpy headed Dank..He just breaks heart..Now I'm not sure if those are normal feelings towards a killer clown but I stand by my feels..
Dank finds a journal and finds out secrets of his father's and mothers less the unconventional past..
I absolutely love this series it's horror and clowns and everything that Emery Leeann is brilliant at.

In the beginning.. Okay, I'm not going to start spouting the Bible but fatal sin sorrows of life can in some ways be added here... definitely life begotten because we get the melancholy history of what was before and even my cold heart ached just a little for Dank.
Will cruel beginnings make history repeat itself or can it become new beginnings.. I can't wait to find out.

Another cool addition to the Dank legend. The creepy clown discovers his own twisted path and I think that he finds that it cements his dire destiny. More mayhem will arise!

More Dank please!
I can’t help but to feel for our disfigured killer clown Dank. He learns about his origins and it helps him understand why he’s a monster. If you haven’t read this book, you don’t know what you’re missing!

I loved Dank !!
This is the third book in the series and it is about his father's past. This book shows us where the evil began. While reading this book, I felt sorry for Dank that he has no one that cares about him. Adding to that, this book was full of surprises and it helped us understand why his father was so evil. Emery always amazes me with her writing; this book was on an another level. What an unexpected story !!

Yet another fascinating tale
I loved this gruesome and creepy story in this Dank series just as much as the other 2! Although there wasnt as much Dank as there was Henry and past chapters in Henry's POV from his diary, I liked it alot and thought it was totally necessary. It brought alot more depth to the story.

This series just keeps getting better and better!
Cruel beginnings is such a fitting title. Dank ends up finding his dad's old journals and finding out the truth about his parents life before him.
I felt so sad for Dank! Him reading about his POS dad made me sad for him. They got worse as the story went. And then Dank was gone 🚀
Also I will add, Dank is fucking creepy!

Dank is everything and it is super hard not to fall for him. He is deformed, twisted and unconventional, but when you read this book and see a backstory of his father, you understand why he is the way that he is. This series is so much fun to read.

A fascinating insight into Dank’s father's pastI so need some more Dank - he’s such an intriguing character and his thoughts and actions make for gripping reading.
