Onwards towards another adventure, and this time, fighting goblins. I like the fights in this one and the effect of what is happening to magic. It pulls me into what will happen in the world. However, this book's pace feels far too fast. I wished it slowed down so we could breathe just a little. We didn't get that option. The characters were told about goblins, saw goblins, fought goblins, then defended against goblins. Also, a twin was controlling the goblins. Overall just fast-paced, and I wish we could at least understand a bit more about the goblins and get a little bit more about the magic side of things. Still good; just the pacing killed it for me.

Loved the different storyline in this book like the introduction of new characters and how they came out the story from a different way can’t wait to start the next book
This one had a lot more action than the others, I feel like. It went by too quickly though. I would have liked to see it stretch out a bit more with more details, but it was still good.
Maren and Eldwin are told that goblins are invading the towns and causing chaos. But they quite surprise to find out who is controlling them. Something or someone are interfering with the magic, and it is affecting the dragons also. Another great book in the series.
