The person behind Sarah Ruiz's disappearance was behind bars, but Private Detective Emmy Grimm was well aware that the trail did not end there.

She was bent on finding the mystery behind the black key she found in Armando's house in Miami.

Back in Chicago when a young girl requested her help to find the killers of her brother, Emmy did not think it had any connection to what she was after.

Nora Kane writes fast-paced FBI thrillers and crime mysteries that keep readers turning pages late into the night. Her newest series, the Lindsay Lane FBI Thriller, begins with Not Quite the Enemy and continues with titles like Not Quite the Truth and Not Quite the Score. All of her books are available in Kindle Unlimited.

She’s also known for her long-running Margot Harris and Jade Pearson mystery series, as well as shorter trilogies. Across them all, you’ll find unexpected twists, high-stakes investigations, and heroines who never back down. If you enjoy thrillers that keep you guessing until the very last page, you’ll feel right at home in her stories.

A lifelong mystery fan inspired by Nancy Drew and Agatha Christie, Nora lives in Pennsylvania with her family. She starts her days with Bulletproof Coffee, winds down with a glass of Malbec, and finds new story ideas whenever she’s traveling or swapping tales with strangers.

She’s never met a bookstore she didn’t want to explore—or a plot twist she didn’t want to write.

Very good book

I enjoyed this book but it was hard for me to follow. The first book was not. I can't wait to start the next book. These are the first books I have read from Nora Kane and I love her writing style. I hope to read all her books. Thanks for another good book!
