After seeing how the first 7 numbers of Ashidaka where wrapped up into a 1st volume i waited patiently for the volume 2 :).
So...the Demon Dismantling Army is formed and fight the centipede!. But it was such a difficult feat Ashidaka ends up pretty injured. He shows uncany resilience and enters in some kind of bersek state that -if trained well- could be the key to defeat every single monster that threatens the world. There's some character development and new characters joining the force and others proclaiming themselves as foes.
The details behind the mechanical centipedes is incredible. I feel the action is more readable in this volume without lacking dynamism.
I still read this as part of an introduction to the story and will patiently wait for volume 3~
