There are too many wolf shifters in North Port, Washington.
Even so, if all goes according to plan then there will soon be one more.
There are so many promises that have been made since I arrived in North Port, Washington, but there are even more that’ve been broken. Romulus might have promised to turn me despite his blood oath to his brother, but I won’t believe it until it happens.
Not after everything he—and the rest of the Gray family—have put me through.
It should be no wonder that I’ve put my guard up.
Becoming a wolf shifter is even more complicated than I thought it would be. It’s more than simply participating in a moonlit ceremony. It’s learning a new set of rules, a new way of life. And it’s not a simple one.
In fact, the further I delve into shifter culture, the more complicated things become. Especially when Remus and his pack decide to turn back up again. And as usual, they do it at the most inopportune moment.
And Remus…this time, he crosses a line that cannot be uncrossed. This time his betrayal is unforgivable.
There’s only one way this is going to end.
Whether or not I end up joining Rory, Marlowe, and Kaleb as a shifter at their side, one thing is certain.
Blood will be spilled in North Port, Washington—the only question now, is whose?
Wolf Bargain is a full-length romance novel with multiple love interests. It’s the third (and final) book in the Wolfish trilogy, a paranormal series where the main character has no intent to choose between the three sexy werewolves who’ve fallen head-over-heels for her—whether they like it or not.
Final Review (1/29/2022): I didn't DNF like I thought I would. I didn't hate anything about it but it felt like an incredibly generic werewolf RH romance. The series is consistent in writing and style, with all 3 getting 2 stars for me. If you read the first two and liked it I would try this. I am glad to have eliminated a series from my started series document. Only 53 more to go (until I add more which is gonna happen inherently).
I read the first two - Wolf Bonded and Wolf Broken back to back in September of 2020 and I remember not getting on at all with that last book. It is part of why I never finished the series until know even though this book came out only a month after I read those two. I think this is better than #2 even though they have the same rating. I am glad to have closer with the series.
My big issues are that this one feels very much like the plot of Breaking Dawn I don't think I can discuss my big issues with out major spoilers.
I probably won't read this author again but I am glad to have checked this of my list of series I haven't finished..
So this one didn't disappoint at all. I was a little hesitant to read this book after reading the last one but I'm glad that I did. I just loved it. It was a great way to end the series. I just kind of sad to say goodbye but good thing I can just reread the series. I kind of need another book now. Loved it!
3.5 stars for Wolf Bargain by Eden Beck. This is the third and final book in the Wolfish series. I really enjoyed how this series/story came together. Sabrina and her wolves are now a family. However, they must face Remus and his pack before they can actually be happy. Everything comes to head in this series. I did shed some tears, not going to lie. If you are looking for a quick reverse harem series, then you might enjoy this one.
This is the third installment in the series and it basically starts with her learning how to hunt and actually be a wolf which also concludes with reading about history and learning about wolf features and abilities. Sabrina gets married to Rory, Marlowe, and Kaleb in a ceremony or ritual of some sort and basically starts her shifting journey, and they all as they say make love. Remus shows up at the wedding to see her shift but instead poisons her so that she won't be able to conceive in the near future or ever. But they are wrong because she has special abilities due to her shifting process that most turned shifters don't possess and is what they would say special. When the three boys get ready for war with Remus she comes to help with Lydia and basically wolf girl comes and announces a curse of some sort and that Sabrina is carrying a child. Remus apparently by law can't touch her or kill her. They take her back and are shocked she's even pregnant and they call the doctor to announce that she's carrying pups. Three of them. Her pregnancy lasts 3 months and she gives birth in the woods and is surprisingly already healed and walking around already. She entrusts her babies to Lydia and Romulus, the mother and father she wished she'd had. Her own mother came to see her but only saw her as a disappointment due to her being underage and heavily pregnant which her mother didn't understand most because she's a shifter. Her own mother leaves her for good and she noticed that her mother has changed into a cold woman due to being with her father for so long. She cries it out with Romulus and they have a heart-to-heart where he always knew that in some way he was bonded to her too, not the way his boys are but in a fatherly kind of way and it was so sweet, that had such a cute father and daughter moment. This all happened before she gave birth. Remus shows up after she entrusts her babies with Lydia and Remus tries to fight but his brother got all the other packs to show allegiance and they came and helped outnumber Remus's pack. Remus makes a grab for Sabrina and Romulus finally kills him by crushing his neck which leaves Remus's pack astonished and nervous. After that Sabrina finally names her pups, Aurora after Rory, Ian after Vivian, and Remus, the great uncle he never would know and hopefully doesn't become like him. BAHAHAHA. She finally shifts with her men and is happy with her pups and her new life.
Solid 4.95/5, just wish there was more romance with the guys and more smut.
Note: I received this book from the author and I voluntarily give this review, it is my honest opinion.
Wolf Bargain is the final book in the Wolfish series and everything that has been through is leading to this epic conclusion. Wolf Bargain was a fantastic book and I loved how the story wrapped up.
Sabrina is going to be turned, Romulus has accepted her into his family, into his pack. The guys are dedicated to showing her how much they love her, how they will always be there for her and Lydia has completely bonded with her. On Sabrina's end, she let go of her old life, the pain that her parents have inflicted on her, and are ready to embrace her new life. Sabrina has survived a lot, including a lot of bad things that have happened since she had discovered the shifter world but she keeps going. She admits her feelings, she lets her opinion be known to the shifters in her life and she isn't just sitting back waiting to be active.
What is very refreshing is that Sabrina is studying all things shifter, she wants to know everything she can about the world that she is joining. She isn't just jumping in and she doesn't let her feelings about her mates completely lead the way. She is strong and showing her strength in the decisions she makes and her actions. The guys have become better at including Sabrina in things, it's obvious that they love and want to protect her but they have learned their lesson from past events. I love the closeness that the four of them have but even more, I love the closeness that happens in this book between Sabrina and Romulus, and Lydia as well.
The storyline flowed perfectly, was awesome, and completely unexpected. There were so many shocking plot twists and that had my head whipping back and forth. I had no clue where the story was going from one minute to the next and I loved it. Then there was all the raw emotion from all the characters, that help adds to the complexity of the story and it just killed me. Things we so very hard for the characters and it is their relationship, their connection that made everything so very touching.
Wolf Bargain was the perfect conclusion to Sabrina's story. It was touching, involving, action pack, entertaining, and heartfelt. I highly enjoyed this series and I am gonna miss Sabrina and the rest of the pack. I got a conclusion that I am happy with but I am always greedy for more. I look forward to reading what Ms. Beck writes next.
Finally things seem to be on the right track with Sabrina and the guys. After the first two books it was getting hard to tell whether or not everyone would go full in with accepting Sabrina to the pack and family or if they would even have enough trust in her to confide about their species. I think what I loved the most about Sabrina in this book was once she got the go ahead, she went in full force, gathering any and all information she could find on wolves, so she could be prepared when the time came for her to be turned. She wanted to be an asset instead of a liability, and who could really blame her with everything that has happened so far? I love the tenacity, perception, and strength that she showed in this final book, even when times got extremely difficult, when her emotions were at an all time low, or when unexpected situations came at her full force. Sabrina proved that she was pack and would do anything to keep them safe. I think this was a wonderful ending to this series, although the very end was a bit underwhelming. However, it cleanly came to a full conclusion along with a happy ending, which I'm sure many readers were hoping for after reading the first two books. Apart from that, we got a little bit of everything in this last book...love, acceptance, heartache, loss, all the emotions/feelings touched on, yet ending in happiness.
Loved it!!! A must read series for wolf shifter lovers!!!❤️
Absolutely loved this series! This book had me in tears! The emotions were high and low for good reason. I absolutely loved the wedding and transformation ceremony scene. But I couldn’t believe what Remus had done. I was balling my eyes out. How could he!?!? And then to find the miracle that happened wow!!Still so sad she was barren in the end. I was kind of shocked by it because of the newfound regenerative ability Sabrina got. I would have figured it could heal her from it or because she was pregnant at the time the poison would just not take. I’m truly sad by this. But there was a HEA in the end. Sabrina finally has the loving family she always wanted and derserved. I’m truly sad that this story is over, but a, so thankful it was shared with us. Thank you Eden Beck for writing this story. Maybe a future story revolving around Sabrina, Rory, Marlowe and Kalebs kids could happen. I would love to see a sequel to this series!!!🤞🙏❤️
Wolf bargain is the final book in the series and boy was it full of action, drama and suspense. There's so much happening that I didn't want to put it down. Sabrina gets in the inner circle of the wolves and what it means to be a shifter. The boys are there all the way and are her rocks when anything and everything comes to a head with Remus's clan. There's a fight looming that keeps the plot on edge and will have you speculating on what the endgame will be. There's surprises and so many feelings. I loved the final outcome and although I wish I had more to the story, I can see why Eden left it as it is. The story arc comes to a conclusion and we're able to use our imagination on what life will be like for the family and the wolf shifters in the future. It was a great read and had such a unique take on wolf shifters with its law and inclusions. Heart stopping moments, heart melting scenes and a story that will have you smiling long after you finish!
Wolf Bargain in the 3rd and final book in the Wolfish series by Eden Beck. I have to say, I’ve loved this series and this last book didn’t disappoint. It answered all of the left over, nagging questions from the first 2 books, and did it brilliantly. The character arc’s, the storyline and plot depth, the twists and turns were all incredible.
Sabrine, the FMC, is the strongest she’s ever been. She is fierce, loyal and committed to becoming a wolf shifter. Her bonded mates, Rory, Marlowe and Kaleb are just as protective and loving as they’ve always been. All of the characters experience immense growth in this final book and Eden does it in such a way that it feels natural.
This book is a phenomenal final book for the series. It’s well written, filled with Steam, drama, love/lust, sadness, anger and so much more. You don’t know how the story will conclude until you are smack in the face with the last page. Absolute 5⭐️ book!
I hate leaving negative reviews on someone’s hard work and passion, but there were a lot of aspects lacking in this series/things that bothered me. 1) lack of visual descriptions. like i have no memory of what sabrina actually looks like other than “dark blonde hair.” The men’s features are described another 1 or 2 times but still not enough. 2) if you’re going to do large time jumps don’t do them mid paragraph i feel. while i appreciate skipping the boring stuff the execution was poor. 3) large lack of world building. i feel like as soon as a new topic was introduced i wanted to hear about it was just glossed over. 4) the complete 180 in the men’s behavior was weird and the proposal felt coerced almost. like she was so deeply depressed and still upset with how they used to treat her and I don’t know.
I loved this book and it was my favorite of the three. So many loose ends tied up, lots of action, growth of the characters and an epic conclusion to this world and all of it's characters. The world building in this series was well paced and this series is a great mix of action, drama, true mate love with a HEA at the end. This book is a wolf shifter RH and the author does a fantastic job of pulling you into the story and feeling the emotions of the characters. The love scenes are emotion filled without being "graphic" so this would be a great series for teen to YA readers or someone that doesn't want the juicy details. I highly recommend this book!
Wow! I am so happy with the ending! I fell in love with the characters immediately. This is a slow burn book but you still get all the feels and it leaves you wanting more from the characters.
Sabrina and her mother are running from her abusive father. They try to go off the grid as much as possible. This lands them living right near some wolves and 3 of them are irresistible to Sabrina. She is their mate and they are not allowed to turn her into a wolf without causing a war. They pretty much say forget that and decide to turn her anyways.
I cannot wait to read more books from the talented Eden Beck!
This was a fantastic conclusion to the series! Sabrina finally gets what she has wanted since finding out the boys are her mates, to become a wolf. Of course it can't just be as simple as performing the ceremony with her mates and starting the change process, uncle Remus is determined to destroy her happiness. Determined to get her happily ever after, Sabrina and her mates push past devastating obstacles and dangerous adversaries. To find out if they receive their happily ever after I recommend picking up the book, you won't regret it!
A fantastic ending to a well paced and action packed series! This final book answered questions we all had, gave us hope for a future, destroyed that hope, then rebuilt it and lastly remade it. This book was a book of struggles, change, death, acceptance and growth. The emotions were jam packed within the pages, at one point I even cried... (gross... emotions. Lol jk) but ultimately this book was a rapid read that had me on a roller coaster of emotions, a great read by a well loved author of mine!
That being said ,I must be honest was very disappointed that it took 3 books to get to the sex scene and then it was so lackluster and untold that I wanted to scream after all the buildup it was severely disappointing. That and the womans inability to get any guts to demand her boyfriend's treat her right and be truthful reeked. I mean what woman sees another woman in her boyfriend's lap and never says anything ? No questions no anger at them ummmm really ? Nope not believable.
Great ending to the story. While Rory, Marlow, and Kaleb are preparing to change Sabrina into a wolf shifter, Remus has other plans. He shows up with his pack on the day of the marriage of his nephews to Sabrina and the beginning of her process of becoming a wolf. Remus pretends to accept the bond but in reality, he has something much worse planned. The Moon Goddess has other plans that Remus would never have believed. So much drama, suspense, and Sabrina finding a true family.
This picks up right after the last book with Sabrina and her guys. She's trying to learn anything and everything about wolves and their traditions for when the time comes. An unexpected visitor to the big day throws everyone off but also creates another opportunity which shapes the second half of the book.
I think the conclusion to the series ended the conflict in a natural way that fit with the themes of the books.
I am reviewing the 3 books as a whole. I absolutely loved the story line. I believe it is actually a 3.5 stars but when choosing I could not give it a 4 star review. Many spelling errors and word choices that needs fixing is part of the problem. The other I think is a little underdevelopment of the story and characters. In parts the story seemed to skip a lot and was rushed. I still truly enjoyed the series and would still recommend it!
Loved the ending of this. I have to admit I kind of figured that what happened to the MC was coming. Not how she was hurt, but what she found out afterwards. It was like all the signs were there, but being someone who struggled with something similar, I can understand why she wouldn't have wanted to hope!
Never in my life have I felt my heart get ripped out of my chest while reading a book. Eden Beck does it again with another great book. The Wolfish series is now complete. You get the heartbreak. You get the good feeling and you get the tears. Both happy and sad. 10/10 for a Wolf shifter read!
I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters and how they came together. I am glad that everything worked out for them and they got rid of Remus since he didn't like turned wolves.
Very beautifully written. Story has a LOT of parts from another famous story but just enough differences to help. I really enjoyed the character development and wisdom gained by all . Thank you for an uplifting and exciting read.
