3 stars. Very interesting and unique concept but entirely too short. Also, I just know you fucking lying! That ending! Disrespectful. I want more. I need answers because if that ending means what I think it means I am shook. So much potential in this little short story so for how intriguing it is I’m giving it three stars. Definitely left me wanting more.

In only 25 pages, Carousel by K. Shantel manages to create a fully fleshed story about a woman wanting to surgically remove any memories of her ex. While I think the ending was a little abrupt, it did leave me wanting more.
