Commander Hamilton Wolf leads Operation Counterforce, a group of ex-Marines on a mission to mete out some black-ops justice against the League.
Back home, a rogue engineer at Verberger, the droid manufacturing conglomerate, has designed a super suit that lets him run roughshod over law enforcement.
When the local crime syndicate gives him a weapon to match, Assistant Director Wilcox and her group of agents struggle to contain him, and find out why he’s robbing banks.
Don’t miss this exciting fourth book in the Agents of the Planetary Republic series!
The crooks are getting high tech equipment which is causing a lot of problems for law enforcement. Fortunately, our heroine is used to dealing with tough enemies, so at least she stands a chance.
This is book four of the series, but it does well as a standalone. All the essential bits are explained early on.
This is a SF action story. The story is well written, easy to read with a fast paced action plot that grabbed me at the start and didn't let go. The setting is well developed with lots of nuances to it that provide a little surprise around every corner. The characters are also excellent, particularly our heroine. I like strong female leads and our heroine definitely counts. There are lots of twists and turns that kept me turning pages to see what was coming next. Overall, a highly enjoyable story and I look forward to more in the series.
Highly recommended

This fourth installment of the popular space opera series moves the focus to a new development in the ongoing saga between the Republic and the League. A group of ex-marines is sent on a covert mission to payback the League for their recent bad deeds. Using the latest technology they are sent behind enemy lines
Meanwhile, back inside the Republic the Agency of Justice is dealing with some new technology as well. In this case a bad guy who's using an augmented suit for nefarious purposes.
This is a great installment. I would caution new readers, this is not the book to start if you haven't previously been introduced. There is less exposition so some of the more nuanced developments may not make as much sense.

Operation Counterforce is the fourth book in the Agents of the Planetary Republic series. In this book, commander Wolf and his team are on a mission in space. I liked how the spaceship and life onboard is described. Jenny is also part of the team and it is fun to see how smart and human she seems even though she is a droid. There's also a criminal who steals money back home on their planet. He has an epic suit that can withstand bullets and weapons. But not everything is as it seems, he has a reason to do those things. I loved reading this book and I can't wait to read the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book.

The gang is back as mayhem abounds everywhere and Wilcox and her agents must figure out what is going on. It was a blast to see everyone again and to watch them do their thing. It was full of action and suspense on multiple areas. I laughed and was entertained as usual. Just a fun story as I rooted for the good guys.
Operation Counterforce by Jaxon Reed is an awesome story that I have read. This is book number four in this awesome series that I have really enjoyed reading. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading space opera and military Sci-Fi.

This is a series about a planet after a very nasty war. Unfortunately, the other side thinks they’re still at war, and they’re attacking people during peace time. Then there is a crazy guy trying to knock off banks with advanced tech. It makes for a really good read. I will definitely read the next book in the series.
Compared to the 13 other books I have read by this author, this one leaves a lot to be desired. The story line is weak, commander Wolf is rediculously shallow, his character hollow and undeveloped, and it left me not wanting to read the next book. Sorry Jaxon, but you can do a lot better. That being said it was a mildly entertaining read. If you are a new reader of this author, don't judge him on this book!
Ok read, either a 5 or 6 out of 10 depending on your suspension of disbelief.
A commander that gets drunk on an active mission resulting in a blown mission and his teammates being hurt without any censure and a droid with brainwaves were too much a stretch for mine.
Having an alcoholic as a leader doesn't seem very logical as he almost wrecked the first mission..except that it was saved by the influence of a droid.
This was a good next book in the Agents series. Good action overall with a build on previous characters. Only critique is that some characters felt not fully fleshed out and Wolf seems a little two alcoholic which seems to make him a bit too one dimensional.
Simplistic and moderately entertaining, it appears to be two unrelated stories that may converge eventually later in the series. Could have done without the proselytizing
