I read this book spread out over time as some quiet self care time. It provided some insight to the voices arguing in my head and certainly was a pleasure to read in my own time. It was nice to not feel alone and I realised more and more that anxiety really is the same for others. She talks about her career and it made me think more of my own whilst living with anxiety. I think this is an easy read and a pleasure.
REVIEW: Fearne Cotton writes so open and honestly. Each chapter explores many different ways in which we can quiet our thoughts and listen to what’s going on around us. Filled with interesting and uplifting interviews from a variety of people, lots of pages with activities and things we can do to incorporate ‘quiet’ into our everyday lives this easy to read book left me feeling very positive and understanding that we aren’t alone and everyone experiences negative thoughts. 📚 RECOMMENDATION: For anyone who wants to silence the noise in their mind and learn to become more mindful in their everyday life.
This was okay! An easy, relaxing listen. Since it was the audiobook, I had to check the PDF to read the interviews which made up the bulk of the chapters. (Which I didn’t because I’m lazy.)
Honestly if I have to read the word "chatter" again my head might implode. The small amount I did read was just unstructured drivel with no real obtainable point.
