This book was something else. MaryAnn and Broderick were prejudiced people believing that they were Godly and God did make any race but White. The book had a lot of characters, each with their own problems and each needing God. Rick and Meek were my favorite and Rick’s mom was doing everything to break up their marriage because Meek was Black. The Lord worked in a mysterious way. Rick had actually died from an accident but the Lord brought him back and in so doing, healed the prejudices in that family unit.
Wow 👌! I really enjoyed this story and the characters were very entertaining! Loved Rick and Shrameka's chemistry and relationship it was so hot 🔥 and intense! Loved the real-life situation of Michelle and her addition and how she did and didn't handle it. The story line kept you wanting to read more and more. I read the whole book in one sitting I could not get enough. Mary needed her but kicked again. But I really enjoyed the ending I highly recommend this book to my fellow romance readers you will not be disappointed.
Loved this one also. There are times when a person goes through a ton of trials and tribulations in life. Rick's parents were a whole mess. Rick and Sharmeka dated briefly and was married quick, due to the love they had for one another. God is always ONTIME and will turn things around.
Too much going on at one time made it really annoying. The book is called Rick and Sharmeka. Why were there full story line about Michelle and Natalie? I skipped through each of their scenes. It made the story choppy.
I wish Rick stood up to his parents more. He was so on the fence about stuff that was clearly wrong. It was amazing to me how much of a mommas boy he was. That was too much.
Focusing on Rick and Sharmeka only, they would get a 4 star from me, but with the other stuff mixed it, I had to give it a 2.
I honestly couldn't finish the book. Think the author had too many ideas for stories and put in one book. Yes, have supporting characters but they shouldn't have such a large storyline in a book per the title is about Rick and Sharmeka. Also the way the supporting characters were introduced into the story line thought was a problem with my Kindle and another book download;because they hadn't been mentioned before a full chapter was given to them but the prior chapter had a bit of a cliffhanger.
OMG! OMG! This was a page turner!!!! The twists and turns of these characters had me in my feelings. I could not stop reading this book. Man, you outdid yourself! I didn't know who to be mad at and who to fuss out as I was reading. Love, love, love this book!!!!
Fantastic series with each book leading to one another and explaining relationships. It takes a village to get through life. I wish something else had happened to Maryann. She was a big time racist!! Thank goodness Shrimp was there for Michelle and she learned all action aren't good.
This is my first read by this author, but it won't be my last! I really liked Rick and Sharmeka's love story! What they went through with his mother! In the end she came around and the family was whole! I will definitely purchase more books from this author!
I really enjoyed it. Rick’s mom is a real piece of work. That lady is a trip. I liked all the characters and how things turned out in the end for Natalie, Michelle, and everyone else. I’m looking forward to reading the next book. I’ve read them all.
Good Read that is well written with a steady flow. The issues and drama in this story are some real life issues and the author does a good job bringing them together into a interesting storyline.
I kept trying to figure out how was Tanisha going to out do the last book? Believe me when I tell you she's extremely talented!!!!! This was a great series from beginning to end!!
This was a great read! I got a little confused reading about Michelle, Natalie and Melanie, when I thought it was about Rick and Sharmeka. I’m glad to know that Rick and Sharmeka (Sharon) was able to get through together! Rick’s parents were something else but I loved me some Uncle Rue!
I enjoyed this story of love and hate. A quick read that had a little of everything racist, love, hate, betrayal, and forgiveness. Tanisha had a lot of twist in turns that kept you wanting more.
I have read seven of Tanisha Stewart’s book so far and they have ALL been outstanding! She isa great writer and this book will definitely keep the reader engaged! Read the 7 book series! You will not be disappointed.
