Upon reread, this is still an amazing resource to understand prophecy. I'll be ordering a physical copy soon for my next reread!

I've read Interview with the Antichrist by Jeff Kinley and have since wanted to dive into his non-fiction concerning prophecy. This was definitely the right place to start! I had to resist the urge to speed though this because it was so engrossing. Instead, I read one chapter a time, ensuring that I absorbed as much information as possible. If you have any questions about Revelation, Biblical end times prophecy, or what the future holds- the answers are likely included in the 100 questions featured. The guide is accessible and provides sources for everything discussed. While the e-ARC I received did not include the illustrations, I imagine they would only further add to understanding of the topics covered. Purely judging what is visible on Amazon, it seems to be mostly infographics and illustrations to depict long Biblical passages.

While every day that passes brings us closer to the End Times, and the world is undoubtably falling deeper into sin, I have been hesitant to believe we are quickly approaching the last days. However, the dissecting of the many Biblical prophecies up to and including Revelation really show how much our world mirrors what is foretold.

I loved this book!! I don’t always understand or comprehend prophecy or the end times. This book opened it right up for me! There is one place I still am not getting and that’s the millennial kingdom. The author’s did a good job explaining it. It’s just me and I don’t know if I agree with their explanation, but we all have our thoughts. I just have to study on that more. It doesn’t change how I see the rest of the book though, because it’s a great book! They have tried to explain and stick to explaining by the Word of God, exactly as we should do. What a timely and important book! I made copious notes as there are aspects I've struggled to understand. The approach and writing somehow brought it more alive for me than ever before. It is simply written yet packed solid with information.

Discussed are topics such as why we should care about prophecies, the numbers of prophecies in the Bible and where they are found, the fulfillment of prophecies and how we can be sure Jesus will return as was prophesized, the prophets themselves and symbolism which always point to the literal truth. Pretribulation, midtribulation, posttribulation and prewrath views are explained as is Jesus' millennial reign and eschatology through the ages. The order of events is laid out beautifully, though my digital copy of the book has no accompanying charts or graphs.

Further topics include the explanation of what truly matters to core Christian beliefs and what doesn't. Another is the information about the super sign and the setting of the stage. The ideas of convergence and imminence are described. Amongst the trickiest concepts for me to understand has always been the seal and trumpet judgements and the new Heaven and the new earth. But they are explained in easy-to-understand terms here. Of course no human being knows all the details nor when the end will occur and the writers are careful to make that clear.

If you are interested in Biblical prophecies and/or to learn more, do read this book. It is one of the best on eschatology I've ever read. Sobering yet exciting and hopeful!

Impressions: This has been a great book for me. I’ve lived with the attitude that Revelations doesn’t really matter much to me because I am a believer. If I continue to follow the Lord in His ways then Revelation is for other people but this book opened my eyes and my faith really. We can’t as Christians just focus on certain parts of the Bible in our lives and ministries, we need to seek to understand it all. I was challenged by this idea while reading this book and feel more confident in this topic after reading this.
Liked: This book was very easy to read. The topic itself is not one that comes to mind when I think of easy discussion so its ease in reading and understanding is significant. Everything was broken down with plenty of Biblical references to form your opinion of end times. It became easier to put my hope and faith in God as my faith was strengthened through learning and understanding how God has used and is using prophecy in the Bible and our lives. I highly recommend this book.
Disliked: It was disappointing to read this book on my kindle because I missed out on all the graphics. I think some concepts, especially statistics are more memorable with a visual. When I scrolled through the book on my iPad I was able to see all the illustrations and graphics and became bummed that I missed them all while reading. Oh well I’ll just have to read it on the iPad now 😉

The graphics in the book are a great addition. But Todd and Jeff are both great authors seeking to clearly communicate about the topic of the End Times. They use Bible passages to give a full picture of the particular topics of the chapter. Since there are multiple views of Revelation, the authors hold to a future viewpoint of Revelation. They teach a pre-trib rapture, with a literal fulfillment of the events of Revelation.

I highly recommend that you purchase this book as you seek to fully understand the coming End Times.

I hated this book. I cannot take a book seriously that cites the Left Behind Series as an educational reference. (See pg 42.) They say you have to understand context but dismiss Jewish context, culture, and literary techniques of the Jewish books they are claiming to be experts of. They failed to convince me why the concepts they are attempting to explain are important. The only reason this book is useful for is to attempt to gain insight into how the people who believe it come to their conclusions.

This is an accessible, clear book to help readers understand end times, prophecy relating to end times, and scripture references to same. It is excellent. As the stage is currently being set for the end of the Church Age and beginning of the Tribulation, this is a must-read. The illustrations add to the content, and Kinley and Hampson offer us the gift of extensive knowledge concerning the convergence of signs, Biblical timelines, and our great hope of the Rapture and eternity. Have already purchased more books for my family. 10 stars. Side note: Their podcast is just as good!

This is a good overview of perhaps the most popular evangelical perspective about the end times. I had hoped that the book would be more even-handed in terms discussing the amillenial position, or post-trib or any other interpretation, but it gives a clear overview of the pre-millenial, pre-trib position, without providing much in the way of possible objections.

Excellent- I love listening to their podcast, and the book goes even deeper with all the relevant Bible verses cross-referenced! A super easy read, and helps you finally put all the pieces into place regarding what the Bible says about the end times.

This book answers so many questions that believers and unbelievers commonly ask in a very clear, easy to understand way. I highly recommend this book. I will read this again.
