What lies beneath a military base in Ohio? Why are people being abducted and what is truly going on above our heads, beyond Earth? Follow Kathy O’Connor, quantum physicist and former CIA agent, and Sarah Ford, a young abductee, through breath-taking adventures on a quest for the truth. Their journey takes them beyond inter dimensional vortices, new realms of consciousness, encountering alien species that have been the stuff of legends since the dawn of civilization. Heroic love, great dangers and spiritual awakening define this story of our time, when humanity is at a turning point in its evolution, and faces the greatest challenge in its history. Elena Danaan inspired this story from material in her previous book “A gift from the stars”, depicting her own abductions by aliens, and although “Resilience” is a science-fiction novel with fictional characters, the story and places were inspired by true events and information given to her by extraterrestrials. Though, above all this,“Resilience” is truly about love, about the resilience of the heart and the unbreakable ability it has to hope, and to believe, believe beyond all odds. For at the end, when all wars have ended, what only remains... is Love.
Born in France, Elena Danaan graduated in Fine Arts in Paris and completed a Post-Grad in Archaeology at the Louvre University. She worked as a field Archaeologist for twenty years of her life, among which eight years in Egypt as an engineer epigraphist for the CNRS (Karnak, Luxor, Cairo, Dendera, and Valley of the Kings) before returning to France, assigned to the University of Toulouse. Completing studies in Druidry, Shamanism, energy, and sound healing, she is actually working as a spiritual practitioner.
This book needs a good editing a bit too long and tedious for my taste. That being said it was mostly enjoyable to read. Especially if you've read a lot of non fiction channelled texts on different alien races. Having these beings come alive in a fiction adventure was fun.
This story was awesome, and gave me many chills and goosebumps while reading it. Definitely something that I can relate to and where humanity is moving to.
The only down side was the grammar and punctuation. Made it hard to follow who was talking sometimes.
I had read several of Elena's books prior to this one. They were all non fiction and well researched. This one is so different, being fiction. I can easily see how her life experiences greatly influenced the style of her writing. It makes this 'fiction' book become so real it makes you unable to put it down. Her many real life experiences in extra-terrestrial dimensions are reflected directly in her writing style, giving it a much richer, pristine eloquent richness that defies imagination. It is like you are experiencing a reality that only real experience could describe!
When I heard Elena Danaan say in an interview this book is actually about her own life but she changed the characters name and the way she looked on purpose, given the time period this book came out (to protect her self) I instantly wanted to read it and I am so glad I did, it was so interesting and full of unexpected wonders that are all true, I couldn’t put this book down, if you’re into true sci-fi I highly recommend this book!
The story is excellent. I didn't want it to end. Elena is an excellent storyteller. However I took a star off due to the truly awful or rather non existing editing. Even with the spelling, grammar and punctuation errors it was a great read. Every paragraph has errors though and many made up words. I wish this book would be released again after a proper professional edit.
A captivating story that brought Galactic possibilities to life. What a heart/mind opener! Hard to put down. It needs serious editing as almost every paragraph has grammatical errors that the reader must learn to skip over. But the story gives invaluable i sights into what happens in the cosmos.
I couldn’t put down this book although with many pages; it was the last book I read from Elena having read all the others before it and I found a bit of her real life story in this captivating book. It keeps the Lecter on a high to know the following adventure always and it is better than Star Trek loved it A must read xx christine
This book just keeps giving more and you never want to put it down. It opens your eyes to so many possibilities that you only dream about. Scary at times but exhilarating to. Thank you.
The story is incredible, it's like multiple happy endings! It does, however, need a good editor badly in places, but the story is more than good enough to overcome the irritation ❤️
